    I never thought I'd want a cruise control/throttle lock, until I bought a FJR1300 with an Atlas fitted.
    Works brilliantly, the ability to easily adjust speed and is very quick to release.

    Happy with my Atlas throttle lock on my 21/600 Ryker. Gives some wrist relief. Easy to install.

    Excellent. I'd seen this on another channel's video but they didn't say much about it. The one question I had was... "Define 'lock' 🤔..." (I guess that isn't really a 'question'😅). Thank you for the clarification. This alleviates my concern. I'm going to get one for my Rebel. Every time I get on the highway I think about these things.

    The minor inconvenience is worth the risk. Its not as bad as I thought, thanks! Ill go ahead and order one.

    the danger i can see here is that with a normal throttle, if you do emergency braking, you let go of the throttle and brake. in this case, you would need to roll the throttle off then brake. that fraction of a second matters.

      A common concern for most throttle lock devices. Not an issue if you’re in the habit of clutch-in in an emergency stop.

      @@briansmith3011this makes sense. In a true “emergency” stop, engine braking is not a priority or even relevant. I don’t like pulling in the clutch unless I’m coming to a stop, though. If you pull the clutch in you lose all power to the wheel. Some emergency stops could require you to maneuver also. I think I would only use this if there were hardly any cars on the road around me. Certainly not with even light traffic as people are constantly tapping their brakes since they all ride way too close to the car in front of them. Definitely getting one of these for my trident 660. I have a 60 mile commute each way and I definitely feel my right hand needs a break sometimes, especially after a hard day of work.

    You realize atlas buys these off temu for 19 dollars and silk screens their logo on right?

      @VectorBurnOfficial no it isn't, the factory that atlas has these made, are in China, China doesn't care about copyright law, I have 3 of these locks, 2 temu, and 1 atlas, they are identical in packaging, construction, and rubber markings, only difference is the sublimated logo on the atlas. Don't waste your money, buy the temu lock... it's built in the same factory

    does the throttle snap back like normal when the atlas isn’t engaged?

    • @VectorBurnOfficial
      @VectorBurnOfficial  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Correct. It's friction based. So when you engage it, a little rubber pad holds it open. When it's not engaged throttle rolls free like normal.
