Lovely dance moves!
Been practicing lol
At 00:45 you have both beams on. Is this a mod? Afaik only one works at a time?
They're both on when you have your high beams on.
@VectorBurnOfficial Thanks!
Can we mount Bluetooth intercom on this helmet?
This helmet inner Intercom speaker setup pocket available?
You'd know if you watched the whole video 😉
I was excited for it until i saw the price. Its a bit overpriced for the product you get at $155.00....
I agree 100%, I am 60 and did a 5500 km trip over two weeks in Australia early last year on a multistrada V4S with two friends on ktm 1290 and bmw 1250 and it was very similar to your trip, 36 degrees Celsius in one state and cold, ice, rain & fog in snowy mtns in another state but nothing more satisfying once get home and process the experience on two wheels and the highs and possible lows you can go through and I wouldn’t change it for anything. I have a new Tiger 660 Sport waiting for me in Thailand as retiring there end Nov 24 and can’t wait to pick her up and experience the roads in south east Asia, great video diary of your trip and ride safe mate 🍻
Thanks so much! Enjoy your retirement and the triumph!
Excellent trip and glad you were ok after the spill, did you run the phone charge lead all the way to USB charger under seat?
Thank you! No I had a switchable USB in the front that lead to the sae connector under the seat.
Did you ever fix the fairing and make a video of it?
I replaced it but didn't end up filming it.
@VectorBurnOfficial shoot. How hard was it?
I'd say 6/10 on hardness scale... Simply because there are a lot of clips you have to unclip... But over all it's not difficult.
@@VectorBurnOfficial did you have to take off anything else first? How much was the part if you remember.
what you opinion it's this better than oem frame protection
Anything you add will work, but these bars seem on the surface at least to be sturdier than the slide protectors triumph has for this bike.
I like the concept but the viewport just seems too small. Does the small lense hinder visibility?
I haven't had issues with that... Having said that there are helmets out there with better visibility. This one's more style over substance though a very good example of that.
Also the K&N-204-1 Oil Filter is compatible with my 2023 model. Its got a 17mm welded removal nut. So if you have a good wrench like a craftsmen. Easier to remove and put back on. Also the Garage Boss Oil drain pan is great. Its got a large yellow funnel that twists on where the green cap is. Then it snaps back in place. It has a carrying handle too. And placing a few pieces of card board: putting on gloves: few towels to wipe up later. I can do this right outside my apt or inside if it rains.
I wont buy it because NO CRUISE CONTROL on a touring bike. Been waiting a couple of years now for it. Oh well .. ugh .
2025 tiger sport 660 comes with cruise control now.
@ride.2heal thank you for letting me know, this is a game changer
just did this now my clutch wont engage. anyone know why?
I've run into this issue on a different bike. If it's set to 1-3 distance settings. Try the furthest setting... If that doesn't work not sure what it is. Good luck.
I have to tell you that you are putting the sealer grease in the wrong place.
Dude, you said there was an issue with first gear, but you didn't say WHAT that issue was. I don't read minds.
I've mentioned it in my previous videos. That's why I didn't talk about it in depth this time. th-cam.com/video/e1oJ1O219aI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hA8RGfm4LjQo3qsG
Keep the content coming! good stuff!
I own this model and love it! My niggle is horn is difficult to find due to size of button and location and the horn sound is pathetic.
Thanks for the video! I have just ordered one.
I need something! I can't ride longer then 30 mins without my wrist and hand falling asleep
Give this a try. It helps.
But how does it sound while riding?
If you have a fairing or screen, great! If you don't... Road noise gets in the way a bit. It's pretty loud tho.
Hi! What kind of tyres do you use?
Dunlop mutants
@@VectorBurnOfficial thanks!
Couldn't finish, yes some found amusing, a little to goofy for me
How are they in the wet??
question do you have torque settings for bolts?
Just bought one after watching yr vid, very happy with it
0 seconds ago Mad Max fans get this reference. the Toe cutter wore the Alpinstars boot from the 70/80’s this boot is a copy of. had the gen 1 boot and my wife threw them out! “They SMELL!”shey says! I loved them, and wish i still had them! She did just buy me new Elsinore 2. boots. Same boot different sole. I use mine on dirt and trails gravel roads all the time. The myth of protection from modern boots is overrated. A pair of boots can only do so much. People break feet and ankles and shins all the time in “Adventure boots” if you need a more aggressive tread for hiking or a more compliant one? You can buy a cheap soldering iron and melt out a slightly deeper grid in the sole. boom. B) take to any shoe repair and change sole. they are a standard welt leather boot. You can put lots of soles on them. Vibram Redwing. Thick layers of waxed pressed leather , old car tires. lots of things.
I prefer to just roll back the trip meter and record the mileage on my whiteboard in the shop. Now I need $100 of electronics?
You don't NEED anything... Keep doing what you doing.
Can you use them in the rain?
They're perforated for breathability... Not true waterproof.
@@VectorBurnOfficial so your hands might get wet but no damage to glove, im just curious cause i just got mine today.
Just received one of these today and I'm blown away with the quality for such a low price. Oct.2024 the price is down to $49. I bought it for an impromptu 500 mile trip that is coming up in fall weather. I'll update with more insight after the trip. Also bought medium and at 5'8" 165 it fits very good.
Thank you for the video! About to get my new Tiger660 delivered next week. I've ordered these crashbars too. Looks like a bit of a pain, is this doable with just the side stand on? I'd have to do it in a car park somewhere, I dont have my own garage
Congrats. Yeah it should be fine on the stand. Mine was on a rear paddock stand. Good luck!
I am getting one for my 2024 Suzuki GSX R1000R...I love the boike but when you have clip on handle bars and you ride it a while you hand gets sore this will keep some wrist and thumb saving so when I can have fun I can enjoy it and cruise when i want to put put and not be always wanting to go warp 9.
Wouldn't you need to turn off the ABS? How kan It be done?
You can't. Not in an official triumph sanctioned way anyway.
This seems perfect. It's a nice way to uncramp your throttle hand! I wish it was cheaper but it seems to be of very high quality. I've tried a cheap one from ebay and it didn't work well at all
My g/f bought one new in 2022. We installed a lowering link and lowered the front suspension to match, as well as installed 2" risers that also sweep back towards the rider. She also got the lowered seat, but it's about as comfortable as cardboard. Aside from that, I think she'd echo your experiences - a bit hot on the left leg, but that ENGINE!! Gotta love the inline triples. Linear torque all the way through the tach. Thanks for the vid!
Good video!
I do have 3 different models, all Alpha. Just updated the pads, that's it
Did you do any dirt time with the Michelin Road 5's? How did they feel compared to the Dunlop Mutants?
I had a run in with a loooooong gravel road and they did ok... But nowhere near as good as the mutants... They're just not made for it... The mutants handle gravel much better, some dirt and a bit of dry grass... But stay off anything remotely wet or muddy.
@@VectorBurnOfficial Good to know! I have a Trident but have been thinking about a TS660 for a while now. Seems like whenever I travel, there is always opportunity to head down a dirt road and do some exploring.
As long as it's not too gnarly... The tiger will do just fine.
sp-8 v3 or sp air
Masterchief👍
WAY to overpriced! $165.00 is ridiculous, and that's for the Chrome unit. For 10 bucks less, you can have the black unit.
Excelente comentario ! Muy sincero! Tengo una hace una semana y es una delicia manejarla! Muy noble el motor y la conducción! Todavía no la probé en arena pero con lo que comentas tengo ganas de probarla
I can't find your application to work on my scrambler xe. Where did you download it?
My man... The link is in the description.
Original 💯 %
Hell yea
I have the same jacket, I got it two years ago and it's holding up very well 👍👍
nowhere in my owners manual does it show any air filter, or how to change it. thanks
I agree with everything you mentioned and I have to say with all things considered I personally it’s a love hate relationship. It’s fast, torquey, stiff, I’m too tall for the windscreen and the false neutrals…
I bought this for my TS660 but it doesn't have a large enough diameter opening for mounting to my throttle base. There seems to be no way I can engage the ratchet teeth. I tried it on my wife's MT-03 and could mount it in a matter of minutes because the ratchet clicks into place MUCH easier than on the larger diameter throttle on the TS660. I am thinking I have to modify the device with a file to allow it to fit the bike I intended on mounting it on. I am disappointed
All I want,, no single tracks, but down the highway..Oh shit ok i can jump over the mountain here on dirt jeep road, come back to highway, repeat, cruise on hwy an ok on dirt , semi rock gnarly stuff. In colorado we can do this virtually anywere so nice to have true all around bike. Most are to damn big for me, Drop it an f picking up . 300 kaw versys now and its pretty damn good, but like a bit more horses... 650 vstrom damn good to... love a triumph though
I don't even own an adventure bike but I like the looks of these boots so much. Could you use these for street?
100% you can... Very comfortable from the get go...
