Hi from Aus, your video somehow ended up on my feed. First of all, not fair for atlas cuz its a knockoff, personally have a Kaoko on a SV650S and have been using it for ~5 years now. And it is very useful on roads that stretch for 100+ km that are dead straight here in Aus, however I dont recommend using it on busy highways/motorways. Used omnicruise triangle shaped throttle lock before, very good however it is an easy target to be stolen. And as for Atlas, it is very good wit the buttons design however like you mentioned in the video, once the bolt loosen off its game over unless you manage to find another bolt that fits
For the Kaoko, i typically tighten it around 70% before starting on a long trip or getting on the highway so i just need to do that last throttle/tighten to lock it in place and start cruising...
Great video! I like how everyone took turns trying each setup for a truly honest review of each item from each riders' perspective. I have been using a knockoff of the Atlas Throttle Lock. The first time, I did not install it exactly to the instructions. After installing it a second time (properly) and adjusting the set screw for ideal friction, it works like a charm! I just completed 800 miles, round trip, with it and it locked into place perfectly; giving my cramping hands a much needed rest. I may purchase a Kaoko, simply because it is more aesthetically pleasing than the Atlas. However, sooner or later I will spend the big bucks and have an authorized dealer add Electronic Cruise Control as the ultimate solution.

I'm using Kaoko. So slick that nobody would notice it if you don't mention it.
I had a hard time using it at first but now im all good with it.
love the energy you guys have. The viewer can tell you are all great friends. Good/funny stuff!
Thank you for sharing this information... very good comparison and discussion!
When Mark uses the hand gesture and POP goes the sound 😂
1st. Kaoko
2nd. Atlas
No 3rd place for me though 😅
it will slow down going up slope and speed up going downslope. because of the locked throttle position. :)
Been using atlas on my nmax for about 3 months. No issues so far. Maybe the vibration on the CRF1000 too strong to properly lock the throttle
Good review! Anyway just wanna ask where to do get that toolbag at 2:24? Thanks!
You can get it from Simzwerkz, those are SBV tools
I used an atlas knockoff from shopee for like $18 and it works fine. But I am using a 2b bike tho so the vibrations are probably lower.
You guys are hilarious! Definitely worth the sub.
Thanks for watching buddy! appreciate the sub!
You need the place the correct friction pad on the atlas, knockoffs also boleh pakai ba… 😅
When it gets down to which Brand you like more, It's hard to tell which brand you are talking about.
No Links to purchase the Products.
thank you for a human review. so tired of ai channels I just block them all
I have the copy atlas throttle lock…is good if you speed on general speed…but above 130 will losing speed when vibration
yeah we find that the atlas and the marikita lock tends to loosen its grip when theres lots of vibration from the engine. :(
