Repairing a rusty spot with a patch panel the wrong way! You can't unsee this but will it hold?

In this scary episode I attempt to repair a rusty spot in my truck bed with a patch panel I bought off of eBay motors. Even though buying parts off the inter net can be scary at times this is not one of them. The scary part is I attach the panel using JB Weld and pop rivets. I have seen this type of repair on TH-cam and I thought I would give it a try.
The reason why I decided to try this is because I don't have a fancy welder and it's a cheap an easy repair. With that being said this bed is going on a camping trailer I am building for our Bronco. The trailer will be going off road so why spend a ton of money on something that could get scratched or damaged on the trails.
It's also a good test for potential builds in the future and the real question is will it hold?
The next step in the build will be to paint the bed with rattle can paint. Yep you heard me correctly. This will be real automotive paint straight out the can. so stay tuned for that in the upcoming episodes.
