It was developed as a smog engine and left a factory at 171 horse. It wasn't meant to be a performer but it was durable I have nothing against it and after I overhauled mine I was at 360 horse it never quit running and it was incredibly reliable

This 2014 ford fusion is my last ford. My next car will be a Toyota camry or corolla.

I just loosened everything and pulled the bumper cover back, and I was able to to pull the headlights assembly out without taking the whole front bumper cover off

Great video - I had never taken this dryer apart. I was able do so and replace the bad pulley in about an hour without getting stuck anywhere - You covered it all. Nice work.

I on a 2007 se model and the experience with it is amazing, first thing, it ran without transmission fluid for 100km ,cause transmission plate broke big time, change the plate the filter and a gallon of the proper fluid, and 1 year later still running around, issues free🎉🎉.

I like to put my cam bearings in before I put the crank in..

Will the cam bearing tool bottom out and stop when the bearing is centered or do you have to use your best judgement and stop when you feel it is centered

I think that maybe you should get someone who knows what they're doing to rebuild it , someone who knows the difference between bearings, throw out bearings afe used to push your clutch in. The engine looks in good shape , a màchine shop is the place for you to go to do the work. You cant tell if a lifter is good just looking at them the tops of those pistons look like someone has been in there.😊

There's a 400 build on you tube, you can get 500 hp. it of that engine pretty easy. See if you càn find a set of closed chamber heads for it , so you can bring that compression up to around 9 to 1.youll have to search around for an intake for it. No inside out on the way out!

My metal cord completely broke on lower latch how can I get the mechanism to open it up manually with a flat head screwdriver ?

How would I go about draining the full 11 quarts and replacing? I bought this vehicle used and it has 100,000 miles on it and I don’t know if it’s ever been done, so I just want to replace it all

Use 18 inch rims. Better ride better for suspension and tires.

Just found your video and I have the exact same noise coming from the rear of my 2013 Lincoln MKX (passenger side I think). I suspected the hub/bearing as well and did similar process of elimination as you did. The biggest problem with removing these hubs is that they tend to corrode and get stuck in the Knuckle. There are plenty of videos on TH-cam to help with ways to remove stuck hub/bearings. How many miles on this vehicle in the video? I have about 85K miles on mine and this will be the 1st bearing/hub replacement for me.

I have the same dryer and it’s squealing but the drum still moves. Sometimes the it sounds like the drum stops just not sure if it’s a belt or the rollers I don’t think it is the same issue you addressed in this video because the drum still moves

9:20 did you personally put on some sealant before putting the bold back in? Should I do that??

One comment to the excellent video. You may need to adjust where you place the threaded end of the cable into the plastic clip on the mechanism. I went with it in the middle to the threads and the door wouldn't latch. This was the approximate location the original was placed. I put it closer to the end of the threads which put less tenson on the upper door latch and allowed the door to close and latch.

Same camera and had purge valve issue plus sync issues

Thank you for taking the time to video this procedure. I just finished replacing my rear shocks on a 2018 Edge Sport. I will add that you DO NOT need to remove the round ferrule on the shock shaft to insert the dust cover and insert. It easily slides over the ferrule without taking the cover apart as you did. Otherwise, perfect description.

Wait till you put the back seats down. Some cut the belt but pulling the seat and unbolting the seatbelt is the right way

I’ve never owned a hybrid and I just purchased a 2013 Ford fusion titanium and have no idea how to charge it, ( I know how to plug it in but all the charging stations plugs look different and I’m so confused. please help. Just an f.y.i I do know how to fill a gas tank 😂

I have an 82 with a 4 speed, do you know of a better tranny for this motor preferable with 5 gears, i can only do about 50 on the freeway without the rpms being to high. Great for pulling but just not fast.

No need for thread sealant on aluminum cases. They are tapered plugs, they seal themselves.

Is there a way to adjust the cables or original placement? Watched this video and replaced cables. Doors will open from inside but not with the handle in the side

My 2016 fusion hybrid has 323,500 miles and still sounds like a new car when you close the door. Total silence when driving. No rattles no engine lights whatsoever. It’s had its moments when it’s time to change fluids or lights but so far so good. I like the car. 40 MPG. It’s my second fusion. The first one only made it 170,000 before I saw rust on the frame and traded it away
