“Going to the gym, when no one else is there, with the keys, opening it up, turning on the lights, sweeping the floor...” that quote gave me chills. With WHATEVER you want to do, you NEED to put that work in
Despite Reggie Miller not having a ring, he deserves as much respect and admiration as both Allen and Curry. The man was one of the most clutch, gritty players of the 90s.
Reggie also played in small market Indiana for his entire career and they were title contenders for many of those years. Imagine if he had gotten to play alongside a great number 1 option like Hakeem or MJ or Robinson or Shaq.
There was nothing Reggie could do when there was Shaq and Coby in his way or Jordan and Pippin in the way. Reggie was a proud man and wouldn't dare go and join one of those teams just to get a ring. There are a lot of players who have rings and will never end up where he's at and that's in the Hall of Fame.

The “YES!” from Reggie and Ray in complete synchronization was icing on the cake for this fantastic interview…. Gotta love seeing two of the best to ever let it fly be there to support the next generation.
Reggie Miller is 56 years old, he looks like he is in his 30s. Also great to see these two shooting giants respecting what Stephen accomplished, as we all said many times this dude changed the NBA, making way for a whole new perspective and the way he finds shots is undeniably a trait that he has mastered way more than most of the legends, this combined with the God given shooting touch, you can safely say that these two are not jelaous, rather they are proud that it took him a decade to beat their records 😂

Reggie, Ray and Stephen have something in common, not only they are great 3-point shooters but they are all humble at the same time. God bless you all.
To Kenny’s point at the 4:00 mark. The thing that Steph does that they didn’t was shoot from such crazy range. Anywhere from half court to the rim is Stephs range and that is what makes him so great. To me at least.
They could have done that but that’s a bad shot. Doesn’t matter if it goes in. It’s a low percentage shot and like Ray explained things were different in their era.

So nice to see Ray and Reggie being so humble. The older generation more than any other ever has so many insecurities and usually can’t give the younger generation any credit but these two have and I got respect for them for doing so.
It’s bananas that Reggie never averaged more than six three point attempts per season. In fact, he both only did it ONCE! Ray Allen never attempted more than 8! Today’s players will sneeze at shooting six or eight threes! They’ll do that in half or a quarter!! Curry can easily play for another 5-8 years so this record can very well be at 5K+ by the time he officially hangs it up!
Steph's efficiency from distance is what truly STANDS OUT from the rest with that many volume shots. That's why he's without a doubt the greatest shooter ever.
