    Step's shooting is insane, but what's out of this world is how he's ALWAYS aware of the shot clock. Some of those shots are split decision shots because he SAW the shotclock. What an absolute monster.

    IMO, Curry is almost single-handedly responsible for people thinking the three pointer is an unbalanced shot that's ruined the NBA. It's not; it's only unbalanced when he's the one shooting it, because he's a broken-ass glitch character in real life. Dude has targeting and range hacks, somebody oughta check his source code.

    That last three was the day Curry changed the game. Super competitive, super engaging regular season game between Durant's Thunder and the dubs, that felt like a Finals Game 7. Everyone was watching it, the tension was as high as it can be in sports, and Curry nonchalantly walks down and rips one from 40 feet out to secure the win. From that point on every player, GM, and fan knew the power of the three, and every kid wanted to be like Steph

    How is this possible? Most top players might make 1 or 2 half court shots in their entire career. This guy does it on a regular basis

      And he has some shots from quite behind the half court, more like three quarter shots. That's goes beyond flexing skill, it's demorilizing the rival team. He just needs to start doing full court shots.

    The scary part about Curry is that he might just be getting started. The fact that he plays from the outside makes his style of play almost virtually injury free. He could play at this level well into his late 40's..or early 50's , and just keep getting better and better!! He's definitely gotten better at creating the open shot. He wasn't breaking ankles when he first joined the league on a regular basis. His handles are insane right now.

      I feel like people underestimate how sudden an aging players athleticism declines. Steph could probably get to 41 or 42 like past shooters like Ray Allen and Vince Carter in his final few years but it’s kind of crazy to think an NBA player can get past I’d say 44 as a hard limit

    • @erikmarkus7467
      @erikmarkus7467 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      he absolutely cannot pull this off to his 40s... he does a TON of running ALL THE TIME to get the open looks. he is constantly running - he may be less prone to injury, but he won't be able to keep this up into 40s.

      @@gold_leader928 44? Hell nah man players can't make it past 42 44 ain't even close only in good cases players like Vince Carter and Ray Allen or Kobe make it to their 40s or else there's also cases of players getting career ending injuries like Larry Bird and Greg Oden so he's lucky that he did not have a career ending injury

    The ones towards the end in the playoffs at Memphis and at New Orleans were both absolutely absurd and clutch for different reasons.
    Memphis was starting to climb back into that game, and that 3 took the wind out of their sails
    Warriors were about to lose that game in New Orleans, and after Mo Speights came up with a clutch rebound, Steph somehow made that shot over AD (and got fouled 🤷)
    Unreal

    I asked a youth coach how the three point shooters have gotten so much better. He said: simple. Since the advent of the three point line, instruction has placed more and more focus on either layup (dunk) or three. And this basically from the age a kid can reach from that distance.
