Here's How to Use the Gourmia Espresso Maker th-cam.com/video/vB8zBIfcHQI/w-d-xo.html
Who else is looking gor for a review after ordering from Walmart? $55 (tax included)
I'm just going to do it only 50 bucks anyways
Okay after having to send back the machine three times the 4th time it finally works and it’s AMAZING. Who knows how long it will last though. The milk container is a B to get out !!!!!!
I just recently found out that we have to push down the back of it and pull it out at a angle
I just bought my Gourmia Friday. After all if I don't like it . I have 90 days to return it no biggie. I actually like it I'm sure it operates like all in it's price range. It is some things to help produce a next level Espresso. I definitely going to upgrade my Tamper and get a Bottomless portafilter. After all it comes with a cheap Tamper . This effects the production of the Crema. Also a good Espresso bean and grind is essential. I have made multiple Cappuccino and Lattes. The amount of milk is definitely not the same. Lattes require more milk. Also remember you don't have to use the Preset feature. You are free to use the manual button for Milk Froth and Coffee. The manual will give you 14 oz of coffee max. You touch the manual to stop the coffee. Also worth noting you must make sure you have the Milk Reservoir in correct. If you don't you will only see the option for single and double Espresso. The Espresso also comes out plenty hot. You can put cups out on top of machine to preheat. Yes the Frother is loud and effective. I will have many Awesome Coffee drinks with my new Espresso Machine.
Also if anyone knows the size of the Tamper and Portafilter. Would you please be kind to inform me ? T.I.A
I’ve been looking to upgrade the portafilter as well. I measured the basket to be 51mm or 2in. Currently seeing what options I have. I’ve already bought a new tamper & filter screens
Just got mine. Really good coffee and very easy to operate. Run the clean first so it opens all nostrils. The milk frotter has a knob to adjust how much milk will it release. For $50 it’s perfect. Won’t regret it.
I got mine today and love it
Same here. Great value.
When I do latte it seems like it add way too much milk, is this the case or is mine faulty
How do you adjust it? Mine releases the same amount of milk for single and double shot drinks
Help mine is not working at all like it’s stuck on espresso and manual
Would be nice if there were other videos on this machine however I still bought it bc I have the same brand airfryer and it works wonders so I am hoping the same !!!
Let us know how it is!
Same, for $50 I’ll take a chance.
Help me figure this thing out lol
@@MrsWyatt2020 I posted a video :)
I have videos up :)
Fantastic machine people complaining are having user errors as in they are at fault.
not true
@@309basshead it's mostly true. many people are having the same issues because they neglect to read the manual. read all the comments here and on walmart's site. same problem.
seems a bit sus for 50 bucks, not sure if it will be good or not but i suppose its only 50 bucks why not, i guess you can return it to walmart within 90 days?
I got it for $30 plus tax at Walmart today. Haven’t used it yet. Will put my reviews after I use it 1 week
Have you got a chance to use it?
@@abdelazzimwalaa2356 yes. I am using it every day. Initially it was little tough to use it but after some practice it works great. No issue so far. I can make espresso, cappuccino , latte etc. cleaning is also easy. Small compact size. Fit for a single or small family. I am saving lots of money now. No need to go to Starbucks .
Thank you for all these details!!! I’m excited to get one soon!!
Why I can not find any review of this machine?
I can’t either. It looks like this is a new model. I was about to pull the trigger on a $500 delonghi model but instead I took my chances and ordered this on sale. Guess we’ll find out how this stacks up
"The 2 options"... i found out. Make sure the mill cannister is all the way in, til it clicks. Then it works. I was worried too
The only place I could find this coffee machine is at Walmart’s website. How do I know if for a fact it was originally priced at $119
It was more I recently priced and pretty sure it was around that price. I just bought today for $50.
I saw for way higher price
In the past I bought a Mr coffee espresso machine for $200
To be honest this one for $50 works the same as the expensive one or even better.you cannot beat this price
As long as the machine works it's worth $150. At $50 it's a no-briner and a steal.
I got mine and it’s not intimating at all, there were some small trial and errors but it’s a great introductory machine IMO for $50. I do suggest looking into upgrading some accessories for this machine for example a counter mat, a proper tamper and eventually a knock box.
Is it good for iced coffee too?
Excellent video, what tamper and how many diameters do you recommend for this machine?
Mine only shows the espresso and maunel. How do i get the other options?
Push the milk frother in all the way.
@erinroes5432 such an easy solution. Thank you for the help.
I was having the same problem and i couldn’t figured out until now😅. Thanks!🙏
looking for a video on how to use the damn thing before i buy one................ O_o
Same 😭
Same 😵💫
I like it!
My machine is brewing the espresso and americano with the flow ratio three times higher than the standard. Espresso is 1 oz (30 ml), mine is giving to me 3 oz (90 ml). Too bad. Didn’t find any reset options to this machine. Probably will retun this unit.
Horrible musty smell coming from the water tank. I make coffee twice a day, so water is always being replaced. It appears to come from the plastic of the reservoir itself. I can smell it in the coffee while drinking even. Any ideas? Cleaning the tank does nothing to change the smell. I have owned the espresso machine for about three months now. I will not leave water in the tank overnight anymore . I don't trust that smell to be safe.
This appears to be a clone, or the same, as the Mister Coffee Café Barista, which is a good machine and worth the $150 (each) i paid for both of mine. For $50 it's a no-briner as long as it works, and you shouldn't be disappointed if such a budget price comes with some extra noise during operation. Advantages of this machine are no pods (which are expensive and prevent you from trying all the interesting coffees at Whole Foods), that it makes the milk for you (making the milk is a major hassle no matter how you approach it), and that it's fast (throw some sugar in cup, push one button and 45 seconds later you're done). The disadvantages are: it's way more trouble than using pods (however I've yet to taste a pod that was worth drinking, even Starbucks branded pods), and it's a hassle to clean. The pod is easy enough to clean, but then you've got the drip tray, the water screen up above the pod, the milk jug, the milk discharge nozzle, the milk intake tube, and the milk adjustment knob. So what you gain in milk convenience you pay for in a lot of little parts you have to clean. That said, I've owned 12 machines (all $300 and under models) and this one is my favorite, but I don't use it often because it's too much time to clean. To reiterate what has been said here many times, you need to follow the manual and prime the machine before first use and you need to insert the milk jug positively. One crucial non-negotiable tip: USE BOTTLED SPRING WATER ALWAYS. Tap water will calcify the machine and kill it in short order. Once that calcium gets in the machine no amount of vinegar or coffee machine decalcifying liquid will clear it up. People seem to really resent paying for bottled water, but Your yearly bill of spring water will be only a few dollars, you can afford it.
There are holes in the filter cups that don’t go all the way through. Coffee sits and doesn’t drain out of filters. Defected
There should only be one hole at the bottom of the filter. Please ensure that the water reservoir is properly placed at the back of the unit.
Sold out at Walmart. Monday 6 pm Eastern time
We just set our up. Its not puping water. Its heating up but the water level is not changing at all, we checked to see bubbles when installing the resevoir.
Very dissapointed
Detach then reattach the water reservoir to the
unit (this may need to be done a few times).
Then run a clean cycle.
Got past the clean cycle and made two cups after that the machine just beeps whenever you press a button and doesn’t do anything anyone else have this issue?
anyone else’s froth setting not working? pushed the reservoir in all the way so all the lights are there and ran the clean cycle so water came out. yet, nothing happens when i click anything other than espresso.
If the latte button lights up but the machine doesn't activate when you push it, it sounds defective. try checking the manual and then calling the company for help. After that return it and get a new one if it's still not working. If the return period has expired just buy a new one and return your old one with the new receipt.
Only two items on the panel light up out of the seven.
Please ensure that the Removable Milk Reservoir is properly placed. Align the groove on top of the
reservoir with the notch on the unit
and push until it locks into place. The Milk Reservoir needs to be clicked into place to view the full control panel and brew all the drink options.
Does it grind the coffee? Or do u have to buy a grinder seperate?
Grinder separado.
Grinder is seperate, I posted a video review
No it doesn't grind, but that's too much bother. Just use pre-ground Illy.
Does anyone know the size of the portafilter? 49, 50, 51 53mm?
where can i buy this?
Walmart has it for sale right now.
too bad its out of stock.@@KelvinHoo-mr6wk
I just bought one today for $55 tax included.
i got it too last wednesday and arriving this friday.@@sharonshumpert1917
put a bunch of cheap blue tape all over it left sticky residue.
I just bought this coffee machine at Walmart cause it was 50 bucks and thinking it was going to be good I turn it on at home to find out that there is only two buttons that work the water dose not pre heat the code didn’t wanna come out you have to press it like 10 times for it to work so it going back to walmart
you have to shove the milk frothier part into the machine (it feels like ur goin to break it) and all the buttons lit up for me
@@serenamartinez5433 yea but we’re the water goes the part is very lose and the machine doesn’t wanna take the water
@serenamartinez5433 omg thank you so much l almost returned to Walmart ❤
@@Yourmomlovesyou69 yup and thing is happening with mine!!
it says to push the milk container all the way in. no one seems to read the manual.
I cannot get it to work. I prime it press clean it peeps three times some noise and then nothing. Tried each setting.
Uhg me to!!!!!! I primed it for TWO hours!!!
Same issue! Can’t feed it to work any tips out there?
same issue here messed with it for hours "priming" it all options light up but only a spurt or two of water comes out. i unplugged it and cycled the power so many time they got some real QC problems with this machine
Reached out to Gourmia and they are sending me a replacement
Does this just do steam milk?
It does espresso, steamed milk, and foamed milk.
All my settings work great except for cappuccinos amd Lates. So frustrated. The machine won't even heat the water on those 2 settings, but it does on all the others?
You don't have your frother container pushed in all the way you got to make sure that point goes all the way in that hole it kind of sticks if you don't get it in the right angle
@@jamessmith6123 that has nothing to do with the heat for the water. If it’s heating the other ones it should do the same
@@jamessmith6123 I do because all options are lit up.
Latte and capucchino are not working. I push properly …
I returned and re bought and all drinks now work.
I m getting only 2 options not 8

I bought this and got it today. I can NOTTT figure out how to get the espresso out 💔💔💔
Make sure all parts are properly installed. I ran into the same issue and it was the froth reservoir that wasn’t pushed in all the way. Once I got that figured out, I made a beautiful cappuccino! Hope that helps!
You have to prime it. Read the instructions book
@@ASalazar1998 I did prime it but nothing is still coming out of the espresso part and it still says to clean it when I pressed the clean option like 20 million times bro.

You have to prime it first
What size is the portafilter
I measured the basket itself to be 51mm or 2in if that helps
I just did the same and got 57.15 mm so closer to 58mm

Hi update, I didn’t push milk frother all the way in that’s why it give me only 2 options, I pushed it all in and it’s all good
@@kanisornueasaman1617thank you!!!
Don’t believe the Walmart reviews on this machine. They’re not real and they all sound the same. This machine is worthless, and that’s putting it nicely. The instructions are confusing, it brews terrible espresso, and brews the same amount of milk for single and double shot lattes. What??? It’s extremely loud and clunky. I’m sure it’s a $50 machine in reality that they marked up to $120 and then put a sale price to make it seem like a Black Friday steal. I fell for it, but this thing spoke for itself. It’s going back to the store ASAP.
AGREE!!!! Bringing it back today!!
Waste of 50 bucks. It's a pressurized machine. Even with a regular filter it's terrible. Don't feel bad if you bought one, so did I. I've owned many machines, main squeeze a battlescared Pavoni. This is the most horrible. Give it to your worst enemy.
Of course it's "a pressurized machine," that's how espresso is made, so your comment makes no sense. This machine doesn't take a filter, what are you even talking about. unless you mean the coffee receptacle pod, but you can't replace that with a "regular filter." If you mean it's a steam driven machine, no it's not. It's a 15 bar pump just like any expensive Italian model. You have a Pavoni? That sounds like an expensive machine that is working for you, so why would you be playing with a $50 model? If you are expecting a $50 Walmart made in China model to work as well as your $1000 made in Italy model, who is being unreasonable, Walmart or YOU.
@@TheLarryBrown "Of course it's "a pressurized machine," that's how espresso is made, so your comment makes no sense" Wrong. Only cheap machines use this type of pressure. It is not used in any decent espresso stand. Do some research, and you will get it. It's the tiny little hole. They do that so you don't need a good grinder.
Don’t even buy it y’all 😂😂
I read and followed the instructions
The clean setting made the pump sound like a GENERATOR, I thought the thing was gonna break on me 💀
The milk frother knobs feel REALLY brittle, I doubt they would last a year with continuous use
The espresso pour is really weak for how loud and “powerful” the machine is
Save your money! You’re getting like $20 of quality and $30 worth of advertising
It's loud from what I've heard though lots of espresso machines are loud otherwise I've already used mine a few times today and I love it
Dude it’s a horrible machine I hate it. The froth shoots out SO LOUD and nothing is coming out of the espresso part. I literally tried pumping water through the whole thing for TWOOOO hours and still nothing comes out just shoots out of the frother!!!
Agreed. They should pay us 50 bucks to attempt to use it.
Lots of reports of them catching fire as well! The company knows it's a 2-star product that's why it was rolled out for cheap on black Friday.
& the ones that haven't malfunctioned yet won't make it past a year lol
