Do you have a video that demonstrates the use of the multipurpose metal tray? Would that be used to make French fries crispier? There was not any notes or instructions in the owners manual or the QR code of recipes? I would like to see how to use that metal tray in conjunction with the bottom tray?

I just bought this item and returning it. Don’t waste your money. It makes noise for 5 seconds and then nothing.

I've had two Gourmia air fryers that died on me. Both were purchased from Costco. The first one only lasted about a month before it stopped working and the second one just died after over a year of use. It's used maybe once every two weeks. I tried different electrical outlets but it won't turn back on. It wasn't the most expensive air fryer but I expect it to last for more that a year. I'm done buying this brand.

When it says finely ground espresso, what exactly does that mean? Am I able to use regular coffee?

Mine is 1 years old. It smokes. Leaks n the tray suck. I have to put another tray under the basket tray to catch the drippings. Crumb tray does nothing. Still crumbs after removal. I think its a fire hazard dont leave unattended.

I just did this. It came out great! A added a little more then 1/2 cup and also kept adding more minutes as I’m looking at it. 96% of the kernels popped. Keep in mind que quality of your kernels.

Can you put an oil drip tray above the bottom heating element? This way the oil from meat will not drip to the heating element.

It's not rocket science people, read the directions. I did not need to + this is my first espresso machine. I use it every day since black friday 2023 no problems just good coffee. Maybe there really is to much lead and micro plastics in the environment.

Good fryer with one bad flaw. The first time I hand washed the crisper tray, much of the non-stick surface wore off. I used a normal sponge for dishes, with a green side. I have washed other brands hundreds of times without this problem. It seems the non-stick is inferior as it was much harder to clean, hence more vigorous scrubbing and loss of surface. I have noticed that just cooked foods stick to the surface much more stubbornly than was true with the other brands I've used. Now I'm spraying with olive oil PAM to prevent sticking, but it's not too effective and adds cost. Gourmet blew it on this one. Now I'm waiting for a warranty response from Gourmia, but what can they do except to send me another lousy tray? They are very unlikely to fix the problem.

How do you turn off the loud, obnoxious, and unnecessary beeping? I don’t need the buttons to scream at me when I press them.

Just got this in today, i was against air fryers because theyre just small convection ovens which I have a full size convection oven HOWEVER i started coming around to one when there are times I don't need to use the whole oven. Gonna try wings in mine tomorrow

I put the portafilter in the dishwasher and it came out with this thick black residue on it. I've cleaned it over and over and I still see the black residue on it. That cannot be safe to ingest, can it? Any idea what that black residue even is?

Okay. To All in the comments section! I think I found something! So, I was very determined to get a cup of espresso this morning. So I spent about an hour trying to figure out why the machine was not dispensing water for first time use priming. I just happened to put some weight/pressure on the espresso water reservoir (while it was in the cleaning mode), kind of pushing/pressing it downward, and boom, there it went. It started to dispense water from the milk reservoir tank for priming. Hope this helps someone.

Terrible product! It doesn't cook evenly, there's an enormous gap in between the two doors and it even burns your toast UNevenly. Purchased at Kohls & I won't even give it away to someone. In the trash it goes. I do NOT recommend this product!

I bought mine a year ago and I just opened it and used it and it’s a great product. It cooked perfectly sweet potatoes fries. My only question is if you have to remove the rubber things around the tray?
