@Devin Niemela The Evo 4-7 water pump (part number 1300A069) can be purchased from STM tuned, also the exact same pump is used on 2013 Outlanders, in case you can find one of those local.
This is my favorite build series. It's the Zenith of all your skills, talent, effort, and time. No need to apologize! That's a reflection of what a good MAN you are.
This is why this is my favorite channel...my man gets into jams...films it and is raw about it can't get that anywhere now a days where people are transparent they film where everything works out but definitely can't wait to see when this thing fires up for you and the look on your face!! Pure joy like the rest of us !! Can't wait until you get more shirts in stock too lol
Hey devin. Love your videos! I just got done watching your engine rebuild video. I liked everything about it. I have some tips and tricks when it comes to setting bore gauges. Im a machinist by trade and I use a bore gauge every day. You helped me a ton when I got my evo last year, it would be cool to be able to help you In a category I am very knowledgeable in. My advise when it comes to bore gauges is to use the micrometer you used to measure the piston to set the gauge instead of calipers. Calipers are pretty inaccurate compared to your micrometer. The only other thing I saw with the bore gauge is that it looked like you maxed it out when you were setting it. I may be wrong but the dial spun around and stopped at what looked like the max. If so then it's giving you a false reading. The dial on the gauge moves so you can set it at the 0 on the first rev of the gauge. I live in enumclaw washington, a few hours from you I think. If you're ever around here hit me up on instagram let's go for a drive!! Love your videos keep it up!! @Dailydriven.x
I've got the same rad, same fan and same hoses but on an Evo, V. Looks great and cant say I have any complaints in terms of engine temps even in hot temperatures. I raced my at Santa pod on the hottest day of the year a few years ago and it drove me home 300 miles all while holding a decent temp.
Due to your honesty about your channel, your work ethic, your attention to detail, and ability to inspire. I have decided to take up the TH-cam game on the side of my job. Thanks fam.
I have been following this build..... awesome content man....learning so much..... I love too how you share and take ownership of things that go wrong..... this really is a next level Vlog
Dev,in my country they say" Iron needs patience" i,e , cars need patience to run and repair. At the end of the day this "Blue Rock" will drive like a dream. Keep that heat up 🔥👍
Dude you’re the man! Have learned a ton from you! This build is almost identical to mine. Can not wait to see how it’s gonna run! Keep up the good work brother!
regardless on the way u wired the fan its gonna turn on...the difference is the direction it will spin...when it turns on u need to get paper(just hold it by the fan) to see if its blowing the air or pulling it ...it should be pulling ...if its blowing the air your definitely going to over heat lol learned that the hard way
I literally can't understand why there is anxiety and stress while building this car, while devin is the only one rushing the build and every viewer who does should stop because it's not his time and money that are being put into this build. I believe you should just enjoy it devin and not being stressed about it.
Little tip, Get braided hoses for the overflow hose. Fuck off all the rubber ones near that manifold as they will turn to soup quickly being that close. Did you try Canada for your water pump mate? You can get them there.
Don't rush the start up.... We'd all like to see perfection not bodged work. While waiting for water pump it'll give you time to perfect everything like the Intercooler piping.
Only thing id say after all the hard work and making the parts look amazing why not get the downpipe and centre section fabricated instead of ceramic coating the old battered one?
Can you use the water pump out of the spare parts evo 8 you have or is it totally different? Short term pain for long term gain Devin. Keep up the good work bud!
I enjoyed each video you upload. Since this car has been done a lot of great parts. Why do not you made customs pipe for the intercooler using the vibrant HD clamps these will turn the car so good tho
These guys might ship from straya: meek.com.au/catalogsearch/result/index/?cat=8&q=water+pump They have several options and it is in AUD so the conversion will work in your favour. I get all my stuff from them and they are super fast nationally at least.
Ditch the Mishimoto fan, and pick up a SPAL fan is my suggestion. STM tuned carries the evo 4-7 water pumps (Oem part number 1300A069) stmtuned.com/collections/mitsubishi-evolution-4-5-6-water-pump-thermostat-neck/products/1300a069-10010-oem-mitsubishi-evo-4-5-6-7-water-pump It also looks like MAYBE the 03 outlander uses the same part number?

I have been following this build..... awesome content man....learning so much..... I love too how you share and take ownership of things that go wrong..... this really is a next level Vlog
Just happy to see the process brother
To seat rings use MINERAL regular oil ,first like 200 miles than flush and file up with nice oil
Your amazing devin! I love cars and I've learned a lot of things in you video. Hope I can do that also, doing mechanics and thesame time filming...
Your video on replacing timing belt on 2.5l NA SOHC legacy was awesome. Thanks Again!
Dev,in my country they say" Iron needs patience" i,e , cars need patience to run and repair. At the end of the day this "Blue Rock" will drive like a dream. Keep that heat up 🔥👍

Remembered when you had less than 100k maan. Cars look great , love seeing this channel grow
Have Mitsubishi at a local dealership do a parts locator with the part number for the water pump.. Some stores may have it in stock in the US.
Nice to see this channel from south america
U will make it man that setup is dope
Keep going Dev it will come together..
I Just cant wait anylonger
I love your dedication man...
You didn't let us down Devin, we're right along with you bro.
Do one of these builds on an sti. I beg you. Love the series keep up the hard work Devin.

Good things are worth waiting for, appreciate the uploads as always brother!
GMB makes some very good water pumps. perhaps cross check and see if it is available
Take the sparkplugs out so you can spin the engine faster to build oil pressure
Definitely take your time bro shortcuts are not worth it with this type of build keep crushing it you're doing great
should take the spark plugs out, turns over faster and little load on engine to help oil flow
Only thing id say after all the hard work and making the parts look amazing why not get the downpipe and centre section fabricated instead of ceramic coating the old battered one?
That hyper blue evo will go down as the sickest evo in history ❗️. Thats the comment 🎯
Can you use the water pump out of the spare parts evo 8 you have or is it totally different? Short term pain for long term gain Devin. Keep up the good work bud!
