I think the yellow accents are what really make this build look awesome. The valve cover being yellow might be a bit much, but I'd give it a shot and see what everything looks like put together.

You might want to pull those valves back out and lap them. Usually you don't mix the valves around like that specially if you don't plan on lapping them. Not doing so is just asking for compression issues Car is looking really good... I like the attention to detail
Yeah you want to outgas the items you put in the oven to completely remove any oils or contaminates from the item. This is something I would recommend doing in your powder coating process with anything you redo that has seen better days.
Get a pair of adjustable cam gears so you can dial the cams you want them opening and closing events are within an degree and making sure you have enough valve to piston clearance especially if your running a high compression piston
Its your car and your doing a amazing job I think you should change the yellow to the blue of the hardware you just got I think it would take it to the next level but that's just my opinion
Metallic or anodized blue valve cover (Close to the finish of the blue hardware) Polished manifold and black turbine house, polished compressor house. Maybe even a brushed finish on the Intercooler to show the fat boi behind the bumper. That would be legit in my opinion 👍🏼 lol
Have you had the Black 8 mapped for the Coil on plug kit? I learned the other day that these things dont run that well without a map for them. You cant just slap them on thats for sure. They are designed for waste spark.

Polish will look so much better :) I think you should DRY ICE the underbody and rear subframe. The effects are unbelievable without diassembly :)

I notice that as well. I’ve always lapped the valves to seat them even if they have gone back in the same position.

Use a drill to lap it. Drill bit+short vacuum line and connect to valve stem.

Just a thought... What if the "DOHC 16 Valve" was blue, or another color, to break up the yellow just a bit? The yellow is great though, keep it.
