    I love Bryan. I remember I was in a mixed feelings whenever his videos popped up on my feed, usually, because of the provocative thumbnail or video title. But after I watched a few of them, I discovered how cool, kind, funny and intelligent he is. And I really appreciate all the work he’s doing - it will benefit all the people in future, even those, who are sceptical of his experiments now. Anyway, it’s my time to go to bed, I’m going to check this interview tomorrow after getting my quality sleep haha.

  • @fiddlefancier
    @fiddlefancier 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +36

    I worked in a sleep lab. Very few adults hit deep sleep. Sleep: no alcohol, no caffeine, regular meal times, habitual sleep times and sleep rituals. Most young adult males slept 9 1/2 hrs when in a soundproof, lightproof room. I love that what you are talking about is common sense.

    • @springng3456
      @springng3456 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      I believe that quality sleep is significantly influenced by indoor air quality, humidity, and temperature, especially during winter. Factors such as inadequate indoor air circulation and exposure of the head to cold drafts can have a detrimental impact on sleep quality. In many cases, bedrooms are poorly ventilated, with windows and doors often kept closed for extended periods. This can lead to poor indoor air quality, which can have serious consequences for respiratory and cardiovascular health.

      It helps to have a job with stable hours and routine. Also, when you are too poor to move out and get your own place, you don't have a choice about your noisy neighbours, or night deliveries on the business doorstep downstairs, or your dad's noisy habits when you have to sleep early for your morning rise at an ungodly hour for work.
      I drink because it's the only thing that shuts my brain up.

It’s actually very calming to me and covers all annoying outside noises . Someone could literally shoot a gun outside of my window and I probably wouldn’t hear it 🤣I sleep 8 1/2 hrs uninterrupted daily.

      My sister was smart, she just did the cry it out method . She’d let them cry but watch from the doorway just in case until they calmed down (ofc she got her docs permission first and didn’t have any ill kids). After 1 week of doing the technique her first was sleeping through the night and it took about 2 weeks for baby #2. She said it’s the best thing she ever did for not only her own physical/mental health but it also established healthy sleeping patterns for her kids even as they’ve gotten older.

      Don't get me wrong, the guy has good points, but it's nothing I haven't heard on Jay Shetty. It's the same pillars of discipline successful people have, but explained in their own personal ways. The good thing is that everyone is unique and can latch on those pillars uniquely. The bad thing is that these pillars of success are said over and over that I need a break from the same scratched disk. This one is the regurgitation of all the pillars that have been said in the last 6 months of Jay Shetty. Imo this gent wasn't necessary to have on the podcast, he was just used for clicks. 28:00 yes, water quality is essential. I have a whole house water filtration with RO at my kitchen sink and attached to my refrigerator water dispenser. The cleaner house water reduces buildup in plumbing. I used to suffer from psoriasis, but it has improved dramatically with cleaner water. I get a mild flair up on my neck during times of stress. Clean water benefits my children, helping them to develop well. I send them to school with stainless steel water bottles with RO water & a sprinkle of celtic sea salt for added minerals.

    I'm sold. His protocol looks legit. But more importantly, he looks 31 and speaks so coherently and I bet he will get "Carded' for purchasing anything that requires you to be 21. I would love to see him and Gary Breka on a podcast. Insurance companies make lifespan predictions all the time. The lab results of my blood and saliva tests, when I got life insurance, blew me away. I was like, why can't all my annual tests be like this. They checked for a lot of shit.
    His insights on sleep are logical, look at pilots and truck drivers. Sports teams also have sleep protocols cause the data showed when they travel, their performance drops. Odds makers use traveling to other timezones and what time the teams play as a variable too.

    Not having enough sleep, which is energy in a sense, you are gonna compensate for not getting that energy. That’s why the caffeine, the sugar, the substances & any overconsumption of anything to give us energy. Emotions as well. All tied together in a holistic manner. Spirit Heart Mind Body ⭕️

      Yea that does seem difficult. I kinda do the opposite where I fast the first part of the day (which is when I do all my exercising too) then eat dinner (which I break up into 2 separate meals) then later on I snack (but only fruit/veggies) until about 2 hrs before bed and my body is in tip top shape and extremely healthy . I think it’s easier to fast in the morning-early day time than it is in the mid day-evening time .

    I learned a lot from this podcast. One night without sleep makes us essentially legally drunk! I’ve always felt this way but didn’t know that science confirmed it. Lots of powerful data about micro-plastics. I need to get more rigorous about protecting my sleep. I think I’ll make a hypnosis mp3 for this.

    I work as a restaurant server and often don’t get home until around 11. If I regularly go to bed at midnight will my body adjust in front load the rem sleep?

    I didn't have to spend a dime to stop my aging process. It's in my Gene's. I'm going to be 66 years old and look amazingly like I'm in my 40's. I stopped drinking alcohol, smoking and eat the right foods.
