Check this to make your quad or dirt bike run better!
If you're quad, dirt bike or any motor is running rough, you may have a bad connection from your coil to your spark plugs. I learned this trick from you guys!

I had the same problem with my coil I fix by cutting I peace of the wire houseing thing I let some of the wire hang out for I can get the best connecting but I'm just gonna get a new one because it's keep on doing same thing
Ya for some reason the only reliable electrical stuff to run is the factory Yamaha stuff like the cdi and coil. I've had 2 Dyna ignition boxes. Both quit after a year or so. Put the stock Yamaha cdi's back on and they run great. Keep up the good work!
It also helps to put some dialectic grease in the plug boots before I put em on the wires to keep them waterproof
Dielectric grease isn't conductive you can't put it on the mating surface of the electrical connection. If you run into a problem, try cleaning out the dielectric grease. Look forward to a top speed run!

Spark plug caps go bad often too ! If u ever hear some pops in high rpm change them !

If u power wash ur Bike a lot u will have to cut the wire back just from corrosion...

I’ve been having a problem with my plugs coming out and the caps coming off the plugs. I have the hard plastic NGK caps any suggestions
You didn't respond back to what I asked you did you ohm your spark plug caps? And what where they at?

I had coils failing on me on my blaster. Ended up I had a bad ground connection on my wire harness. Connection was loose. Something to keep in mind. And bad ass bike by the way!
That's why i like my Nology coil and hot wires! It's modular.
Sand the mounting spots clean where the screws go on the coil. Those are grounds.
