Join us for our first time aboard the wonderful P & O Aurora - the smallest and oldest ship in its fleet. We spend 12 days onboard sailing around Norway in July 2024. In this episode we show you the embarkation process, our cabin, where to find the cheeky plug socket hidden away, what information you are given in your room on boarding, how much it costs to upgrade, the sail away from Southampton and our first evening onboard. We explain our dining schedule and feel a little apprehensive as we have never had fixed dining or eaten on a table of 8 before! Want to know what's happening at 11.30pm? Stick with us to find out.

We love to travel and go on walks and days out. It is really important that we can continue to afford to do this so budgeting wisely is essential. Money is tight and so are we! Our mission is to share hints and tips on travelling, things that are value for money and budgeting.
In doing this we also like to bring a little humour and fun into our videos.

Anyway what about your trip to Norway ..We’ve never sailed on Aurora .. looks really well presented… Travelling Light merch on display too .. Cabin looks fine - We’d be happy with that… Beats Cunard hands down. Decent enough weather for the sail away too. Food looked great. Theatre looked quiet ??
