"Honestly I've been sleeping on the special arrows." You and me both sister! All consumables I keep telling myself "I'll use it in emergencies" but never end up using them lol. No emergency is dire enough in my mind lol
Adding to this the fact, that there are several ways to reset merchants' inventories, so basically you can steal (or buy) tons of special arrows already in the Act 1 if you want.
The titanstring bow is cracked. On a hunter ranger, collosus slayer gets the titanstring bow rider so even without cheese, it hits insanely hard. I suspect it would work on a level 8 war cleric’s divine strike as well so you could possibly get a titanstring bow to proc 3 times on a single hit. If titanstring also applies to the sneak attack bonus, you may be able to build 1 rogue, 3 hunter ranger, 8 war cleric and pop 4 titanstring hits off on one attack. With a cloud giant elixir, that is a solid +32 damage on a single hit, not including other riders that may apply to each of those.
Thanks so much for your comment, I felt like the titanstring was better but I'm glad you reinforced my thoughts. I went gloom only for pass without trace but there's a ring you can replace it with and swap out gloom for hunter/swords bard. But yeah that's wild I haven't done much war cleric I'll have to give it a chance
@@MorganaEvelyn to be clear, I havent tested it with war cleric! But if it adds damage like it does for the hunter class, then i bet it would work. I plan on testing it on my current tactician run which is my first time having the titanstring bow. Your setup here was pretty cracked so i doubt the war cleric setup I mentioned would be better. But for a one shot one kill kinda thing, it could be decent if it works!
I had to tweak the build to fit my style, Shadowbae is my cleric healer and i rely on her to keep my party afloat on emergency moments, but i made Gale give my archer greater invis, i do pass without trace with my tav and then as a bonus, i give her HASTE, courtesy of an item that i have equipped on Shart. This shit slaps. I can kill about 4 enemies out of 10 with one to two shots, and by the time the archer is part of the fight officially, i can do an attack, an ambush attack, an extra attack, and if you have bloodlust elixir plus haste, you can do like 10 hits on one turn. This is a game changer ♥ Thank you
Shadowbae ❤️ I'm so glad you're having silly fun with the build. I've been trying out hunter instead of gloomstalker and it pops off end of act 2. This has been breaking my honour mode runs as well so it's been an absolute vibe not spending 30 minutes in combat
lol; this is literally the build ive been putting together on my current playthrough, planned it out awhile didnt think it would play that well tho. The only real difference was i plan for sarevoks helm, using the bloodthirst blade, and keeping the deadshot and drinking elixir of viciousness to reduce crits to like the 13-20 range
Gotta admit, this video made me get Baldur’s Gate and as much as it hurts me to say this video made me realize it BG3 is *gag* a better RPG than Skyrim, although Skyrim definitely has less bugs and exploits.
I only have one small question. Why wasn't this channel shown or recommended to me sooner, thanks for that TH-cam. Anyway, now I know whose videos I will be watching during the next night shifts, I was free to leave you a subscription. Thanks for all the wonderful content Lady Morgana,
this looks really fun to do trying to do it with a justiciar mail on early levels to ease my way through honor mode hopefully. thanks for the idea number 1 shartposter
I just hit level 8 on my playthrough, using this build. You forgot to mention that it kicks butt even during turn-based combat. I don't have all the gear yet, so I can often lose Greater Invis and drop into normal combat. I've been quite pleased with how well the build does, even so. I did the entire Yurgir fight without ever actually being detected. It was quite fun, really. So thanks :)
My most recent playthrough went with a deep gnome stealth rogue. Very similar idea, but using melee instead of ranged. Level 11 rogues get reliable talent so they can't roll below 10 in any skill they're proficient in. No more nat 1s on stealth checks. Final level goes to warlock, great old one. This unlocks hex, which is very powerful. You also fear on crit. And you crit all the time. Starting with 8 str, 17 dex, 12 con, 12 int, 13 wis, 14 cha. Urchin background, proficiency in the 3 dialogue skills and perception for terrain checks. Expertise in stealth and sleight of hand. At level 6 rogue you can get expertise in 2 more skills. I picked deception and perception. Stack crit boosts in 4 different slots (helm, mainhand, cloak, bow). Feats I used are savage attacker as well as ability improvement and weapon master, putting dex to 19, wis to 14 and unlocking longbow proficiency. Use Ethel's hair/mirror of loss to boost dex by 3 more points for a total of 22 dex. Both of Olin's weapons, Bhaalist armour, bonespike gloves, dead shot bow, covert cowl, shade slayer cloak. Disguise self so you get to benefit off Corvid Token permanent slowfall and the shapeshifter's boon ring. Use ring of shadows to cast pass without trace, then swap to strange conduit ring. Keep a candle in your inventory so you can dip your weapons pre-fight. Loviathar's love is extremely powerful with this build, because you're invisible anyway, so the downside of being at low health is negated. Between Loviathar's love, permanent advantage and those crit bonuses, crits are basically guaranteed. With this buld, you're good with dialogue and perception checks and your stealth is insanely high. You can't roll below 10, so no nat 1s for any of this. Deep gnome racial is downright broken with this build. No other race compares. Because of the armour and gloves, you ignore resistance to piercing damage while anything that doesn't resist or is immune is instead vulnerable. While the focus is on melee damage, you can just as viably use your bow.
i love stealth builds so much, they are so much fun XD Astarion is always a sorcerer in my party (cuz u know, you cant get tired hearing his voice with a cool reverb effect lol) and using greater invisibility feels almost like cheating cuz its so op with a stealth build currently playing as a dual wielding fighter-paladin-rogue (champion, vengeance, assassin) and oh boi. crit smiting on surprised enemies never gets old lol. Using the better dual wield mod makes it even better! First playthrough on tactician and they are just cutting through everyone like a knife through butter
@@MorganaEvelyn Oh it really is XD crits and smites for days, especially when you get cazadors dagger after Astarion just carved runes into his back lmao
@@MorganaEvelyn i personally think that this outcome is more satisfying with all the shit that cazador pulled on him lol And yeah i agree! That dagger is so OP
I really didn't want to stop watching this clip because of spoilers it was fun. Maybe I'll come back and finish it once I complete my first playthrough :-)
If you had a third character to cast cat's grace on your stealth archer, then you would have advantage on all the rolls without need of the armor from the bank vault, thus giving you that advantage much earlier in the game, not to mention it'd help with all the sleight of hand checks as well. You could even have them cast it on you in camp and they could just stay at camp in the party and you wouldn't have to move them around or anything. Of course, I haven't tried it, but imagine it's doable like that
I think u can also have permanent stealth buff from using an arrow of darkness on you with the stealth buff when obscured armor then unequipping it to keep the buff in order to make use of this earlier or in case u want to use different armor. It at least works with the advantage on saving throws armor
This build is still baller. Proabably should have watched this first before theorycrafting for an eternity. Thanks - I knew it was possible, now I can have peace
If you play Dark Urge, you get a cloak after killing Alfira/Quil that allows you to go invisible once you kill someone, once per turn. I threw it on Astarion and MAN, I may be the big brawling barbarian, but his arrows take the 4 attacks per turn I do and do MORE in one shot. It's merciless. He also almost never gets caught because he ends people so quickly.
When i've begun playing BG3 at the Early Access i was thinking "Man, i don't like Shadowheart being Trickster Cleric". And then i've found Pass Without a Trace. That was the moment i knew, this game is going to be something special. Also obligatory like for "Mommy Milkers".
@@chriscornell8810 what a shame. Rogue warlock would've been such a vibe. I might try it out with the same principles in the video but not expect the craterflesh damage rider
I'm here to report the build worked like a charm against Lorroakan who went down in two hits. I was still using Elven Chain and Gloves of Archery and added Haste to the mix. Plus Scarlet Remittance worked as advertised.
the cloak that turns you invisible after you kill an enemy is also fantastic, but for that you need to play Dark Urge. I'm cuurrently playing a strength based archer, the titanstring bow does massive damage, but when you use that setup, you either can't have the dagger you are using, because you need the club of hill giant's strength or you need the gloves of hill giant's strength from house of hope if you don't want to be drinking elixers all the time. then you can pump all your stats into dex and leave strength at 8
One elixir should last quite a while with a sorcerer support for greater invis. I already made sand castles so I was lazy and used create sorcery points into spell slots just to keep playing instead of resting
@@ManforSomeMarkets u can even buy hill giant strength from ethel in act one. she always has 3. everytime you rest, even if you don't use camp supplies, she will restock. everytime you lvl up, she will restock. so if u want a bunch of hill giant elixirs in act 1: rest, tell withers u wanna respec, go to ethel, buy 3, lvl up, buy 3, lvl up, buy 3, lvl up.. :) if ethel is gone already, the dwarf in the underdark has 1-3 per restock too. mol has 0-1 or elixir of bloodlust (other elixirs too, but those are the important ones). the dwarf in the underdark also sells ingredients for elixir of hill giant strength. u can stock up until you have enough until act 3 for your entire party. monk, barb, fighter, pala, all with 8 strength but elixirs from the very beginning is quite fun. and u can spend all your skillpoints in dex and wis for your monk/dex and con for your barb so they get 18-20 ac without wearing armor or increasing the ac with rings and stuff.
action surge, bloodlust elixir, potion of speed or a spore druid with haste spore armor/anyone with haste spell and u will get 3-4 actions per turn. if you go pure solo u can even go 5 gloomstalker, 3 assassin, 2 spore druid, 2 fighter and get 6 nekrotic damage on all attacks on top of haste for the entire fight.

Sorry I'm definitely guilty of doing "OP BG Builds" but they're just for showcases. It's fun for me personally trying out different builds in fights and it hones my editing skill so I enjoy creating them too
@@MorganaEvelyn Absolutely.
There's nothing wrong with playing however is fun for you. It's not the way that's fun for me, but everyone who wants to should go for it.
You are an absolute menace
Loved the video and want to give this stealth archer build a *shot* myself!
Thanks ❤️ it's really fun let me know how you go
This is the first video I’ve seen from you but wtf I love you
Thank you dear I'm getting better 😊
"Honestly I've been sleeping on the special arrows."
You and me both sister!
@@MorganaEvelyn Titanstring goes insane with Gloomstalker/Assassin/Fighter surprise round with action surge and haste. So many crits...
Must've been the wind.
Great video - your narration style is funny as hell. Very unique and fun watch!
This is a game changer ♥ Thank you
Shadowbae ❤️
I'm so glad you're having silly fun with the build.
Yep that's more optimized 😊
No narration for the part with Raphael's song: Chef's Kiss. Great attention to detail on the little things.
My voice would only let that section down 😊
Gotta admit, this video made me get Baldur’s Gate and as much as it hurts me to say this video made me realize it BG3 is *gag* a better RPG than Skyrim, although Skyrim definitely has less bugs and exploits.
7:03 wrote me off with laughter! I was not expecting that lmaooo! Brilliant video btw! Very well put.
I only have one small question.
Why wasn't this channel shown or recommended to me sooner, thanks for that TH-cam.
Anyway, now I know whose videos I will be watching during the next night shifts, I was free to leave you a subscription.
Thanks for all the wonderful content Lady Morgana,
Thank you sweetie you're too kind 😊
this looks really fun to do trying to do it with a justiciar mail on early levels to ease my way through honor mode hopefully. thanks for the idea number 1 shartposter
i know i've missed something important when you go from calling her shart to shadowcute 😂
Haha it's a habit both of those names 😂 it's whatever comes to mind first wins
I just hit level 8 on my playthrough, using this build. You forgot to mention that it kicks butt even during turn-based combat. I don't have all the gear yet, so I can often lose Greater Invis and drop into normal combat. I've been quite pleased with how well the build does, even so. I did the entire Yurgir fight without ever actually being detected. It was quite fun, really. So thanks :)
a good back up is fog cloud when turns over just hide in it
This build while others are in combat is like playing in real time 🤯
this is great in a way that is surreal, can't believe that i'm actually watching this
I'm glad to see there are absolutely nasty builds like this in BG3. Hopefully they never nerf this stuff.
Great video. Super funny, and fun to watch. Great editing! I know this took a lot of work, but it was well worth it, and brilliant!
6:10 that ambient in the background... truly a stealth damage to my soul but I don't mind cause it's gorgeous. Also, tehee
teehee
i love stealth builds so much, they are so much fun XD Astarion is always a sorcerer in my party (cuz u know, you cant get tired hearing his voice with a cool reverb effect lol) and using greater invisibility feels almost like cheating cuz its so op with a stealth build
currently playing as a dual wielding fighter-paladin-rogue (champion, vengeance, assassin) and oh boi. crit smiting on surprised enemies never gets old lol. Using the better dual wield mod makes it even better! First playthrough on tactician and they are just cutting through everyone like a knife through butter
Your setup sounds so fun. A stealth paladin sounds so interesting 😊
@@MorganaEvelyn Oh it really is XD crits and smites for days, especially when you get cazadors dagger after Astarion just carved runes into his back lmao
@@Sacred_Korok69 I love that dagger so much and that was such an intense cutscene for me
@@MorganaEvelyn i personally think that this outcome is more satisfying with all the shit that cazador pulled on him lol
And yeah i agree! That dagger is so OP
Very well put! Fun narration, subscribed!!
you know, the algorithm has blessed me. I was JUST making a stealthy ranger build and then this pops up
COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!
Awesome. I hope you get some silly ideas from this to go rogue in your game 😊
I dont know if this is a educational video of "how to play" but... it was a long time that i didnt take a laugh session as today. Thank you!
That was insane. Well freaking done.
Do you have the name of it please ???
Watched for the build, stayed for the puns. I thoroughly enjoyed the video.
I don't know you and this is the first vid I've seen of you but I'm not even one minute in and I already know you're an absolute memelord.
Awesome work, awesome delivery.
When i've begun playing BG3 at the Early Access i was thinking "Man, i don't like Shadowheart being Trickster Cleric". And then i've found Pass Without a Trace.
That was the moment i knew, this game is going to be something special.
Also obligatory like for "Mommy Milkers".
Some fun variations:
Dark Urge for the invis-on-kill cloak.
Warlock for One With Shadows, Devil's Sight and maybe Darkness.
Does stealth warlock work anymore? Didn't they fix spell crits with stealth?
I wanted to do a sniper Eldritch blast build so bad
@MorganaEvelyn Yeah it got fixed
@@chriscornell8810 what a shame. Rogue warlock would've been such a vibe. I might try it out with the same principles in the video but not expect the craterflesh damage rider
@@MorganaEvelynwell you can still do it but not stealthy. You can go sorlock and blast everyone before they take their turn.
I love binging these BG3 challenge runs.
Holy moly. Your voice (assuming it's yours) just nat-critted my heart.
I absolutely love that you used music from Divinity Original Sin 2 :D
Can't tell what I like better, your build or your voice. Maybe just both?
dark urge deep gnome is probably the best go here because of nimblefinger's gloves and advantage on stealth. can get 25 DEX, maybe more havent checked
25 dex? Omg I had 20 for the video with hag's hair. I didn't bother with Mirror of Loss
@@MorganaEvelyn what the 1 lvl stats should look like? I'm new to bg and dnd.
Awwwwww yisssss. This build trascends games
I always wanted to play bg2 with updated graphics, thanks Morgana 🙏
Mass explosions. Stealth archery at it's finest.
Wow, I did not knew more versions of Spiffing brit existed :D :) ... That was OP :)
Maybe I should drink more yorkshire tea 😊
glitterbeard has the key to safe 9 inside the big vault door that you had trouble with!
I went solo in Honor Mode with the same build. One of the best crit builds
Eve: We are Barefoot all the time Baby,
Last Stream: I must be a Joke to you
It did feel strange putting on shoes
I just subscribed, this was funny, interesting and just an awesome watch. Cant wait for another!
I'm here to report the build worked like a charm against Lorroakan who went down in two hits. I was still using Elven Chain and Gloves of Archery and added Haste to the mix. Plus Scarlet Remittance worked as advertised.
Oh awesome I'm so happy to hear that. Hope you have loads more fun with it ☺
This video really hit the mark.
Was that a pun love?
It was quite the hunt to think of that one.@@MorganaEvelyn
the cloak that turns you invisible after you kill an enemy is also fantastic, but for that you need to play Dark Urge.
Felt like Act 3 was handing out cloud giant elixirs like candy, so didn’t mind respeccing strength into a dump stat by the end.
As a Skyrim player now I can finally understand how to play the game.
If you play as a halfling, you can essentially never fail cause you reroll natural 1
Its crazy how Stealth Archer is just a universal stereotype within videogames.
Champion 3 also gets you access to Action Surge, doubling your action attacks
Awesome thank you it seems like a perfect fit
action surge, bloodlust elixir, potion of speed or a spore druid with haste spore armor/anyone with haste spell and u will get 3-4 actions per turn.
if you go pure solo u can even go 5 gloomstalker, 3 assassin, 2 spore druid, 2 fighter and get 6 nekrotic damage on all attacks on top of haste for the entire fight.
I never thought you could bully non-sentient beings. Yet you did.
