@@crofoegbu6535 It's your call but War Cleric is too broken fyi. You get 1d4 radiant damage (requires concentration), can be used before combat and your bonus action can be used to do an extra attack.
This is why single-player games are great. It's OK if some builds are OP. Using game mechanics creatively to be OP is fun. It doesn't directly negatively affect another player's play experience the way it does in a competitive multiplayer eSports title. If you want to be a bard who tries to talk their way out of every fight possible and you want as little combat as possible, that is equally as valid as someone who wants to min max every encounter and murderhobos their way through the game.
This is not a single player game. The giant “MULTIPLAYER” in the opening menu should’ve given that away. Being able to play on your own does not make a game single player. I doubt anyone would take me seriously if I called Call of Duty a single player game, even though you can technically play it on your own and never interact with the multiplayer part of the game. I do agree with the rest of your points though, and the reason it works despite some things being so broken is because the multiplayer aspect of the game is cooperative, rather than competitive. Our end goal is the same, and if one person is broken at combat, I can just be the one to get us past things and or give us free stuff by being crazy good at skill checks. This game is great for that.
I think OP means "PVE" games. Where its players vs environment. Therefore its okay if builds are broken because its not effecting another players fun. Its very obvious this is what they were talking about because they describe it perfectly......
Hey there! Just had to drop by and say, your video is an absolute gem! The editing is next level, the jokes had me rolling, and the info you packed in there is pure gold. I can truly sense the immense effort and passion you poured into creating it, and the result is simply outstanding; your passion, jest, and dedication shine through every frame. Seriously, watching it felt like a breath of fresh air - no fluff, just straight-up awesome content. Unlike some other guides I've previously watched on TH-cam, I wasn't bored halfway through the video. Moreover, you managed to cover every aspect comprehensively, offering even more insights despite me having played through the game multiple times with this build. Keep doing what you're doing, because you've absolutely nailed it! much love ❤
Thank you so much. I always have the viewer in mind when editing. Like I try my best to pace these videos with information but break it up with silly moments. I watch a lot of content myself and have the same pain points you mentioned. In fact I made this cringe TH-cam channel because of it. I appreciate you so much for reinforcing my hard work and passion 😊
This build carried my HM. I combined it with the bardadin wearing bhaalist armor from the other video. All the enemies were debuffed by aura of bardadin staying in front of them. Then switch to the archer, shooting everyone and finish the survivors if there are any with slashing flourish divine smites.
Some extra notes -If you don't want the disadvantage of saving throws that the risky ring gives you, you can use the gloves of the automaton instead -Phalar Aluve can also be a great source of extra damage specially early on - It might also be worth going into swords bard for slashing flourish instead of ranger for slashing flourish, essentially doubling you're damage as well (I used a level 10 6 swordsbard 3 assassin 1 war cleric to two turn Myrkul in Act 2)
With Swords Bard you cant get Pass without Trace unless you go to level 10 or rework the entire build. That spell makes the entire play style work. It could still be done with another party member using the spell, but then you have to worry about both members staying close enough. The gloves only work for a small set of enemies, but Phalar Aluve is a great choice to have for getting extra damage or offsetting Sharpshooter's penalty early on.
@@loghead1015 the no pass without trace until lvl 10 would be true if there wasnt a ring early act 2 that can cast pass without trace its not like you can lose your concentration using this build
@@loghead1015 in act 2 theres this thingy that gives you pass without trace when you do the child hide and seek game i think i dont remmeber tho as it was long time ago when i got it so idk
Ranger can also 2 turn Myrkul I did it even without Bliss Spores and the Radiant buff from Mountain Pass. 88% accuracy for Ketheric and 98% for Myrkul no Sharpshooter needed almost impossible to fail. Still 24 ac or something with protection from evil and good if didn't lose concentration so quite possible to survive the 3rd round if needed
Brutally OP build and expert execution by the mistress of mayhem. Follow her advice and get those gold dice. I had no intention of making that rhyme I swear, but it's ok cuz I'm alright by Jaheira.
Absolutely fantastic build guide. I remember the first iteration of this build, which was great, but this video is much more in-depth. I thought I'd reached the end of my BG3 obsession, but this video has inspired me to give it another go. Duergar Durge Gloomstalker Assassin with Stealth antics, here I come!
Thanks so much for this. This reminds me a lot of how I played my archers on Honour mode in Divinity: Original Sin II, where standing on a high elevation and using certain buffs would allow you to attack from so far away that enemies would attempt to start turn-based combat but could not physically find you.
Upd: done. Sarevok - 2 shots, Ansur - 4 shots, portal with Halsin - defended with merely a dent on it, dragon atop of Netherbrain - deleted. Crazy fun, thank you so much for showing this build
Thank you for the video. I appreciate you showing not only what items but where to get them and the combat methods. I didn't know i could press shift to see the visibility cones! Learned alot!
"Evelyn, cut that out" 😂same Ev, big same, lmao. But, you know I'm a barbarian irl. I only know or care about bonk and 💥. But I REALLY enjoy this build, like a lot. It's been a ton of fun to play in my own runs (I need more practice) and never fails to entertain me on stream just watching packs of mobs and huge scary bosses just vaporise. Art. Even more than that, the pathing is so clearly laid out that I can run this build, even with Act skipping, and still maintain any RP and quest elements I want to (Karlach is my staple companion, so I have to do a little more in Act 1 before I skip). I'm blown away by how far your content has progressed since I found you blowing up goblins with 500 barrels. The production quality is awesome, but the way you approach these videos and make the complex mechanics of the game, and the build, AND the play style accessible and understandable to the viewer is honestly a breath of fresh air. I can't say enough tbh, catch me on Discord if you want me to keep going, lol.
Shadowcute does inflict a condition on me 😊 Thank you so much for the comment Toof. I might've been brainstorming ways to save Mama K low level. I can't do her dirty anymore because I have so many amazing Karlach-stans in my community. And regarding my content progression I appreciate that so much. I look back and cringe so bad at my old content but it really does show much far I've progressed in a few months. With my newer content my viewer is at the forefront of my mind when I pace, script and edit so I think that is the biggest difference compared to then
Thank you for posting your build! I’m trying it out on my first ever tactician run, and it’s been a blast. I’m forever a barbarian main, and while I’d prefer to bonk an enemy really hard with my fists, there’s something so satisfying about this build with the thunder damage added on top of it!
This build is the creme de la creme of Stealth Archer builds. Been using it lately and it's just way too much fun. Absolutely amazing guide, by the way. Incredibly informative.
Concise. Well edited. Full of great information. Very well done, congratulations! I've completed a few playthroughs, with various custom characters. I've also done a Durge playthrough on tactician. This may be my Honor build. Thank You!
@@MorganaEvelyn Let me also add: in previous playthroughs I'd never known what to do with the drakethroat glaive, so thank you, it looks like it's a keeper. In my current playthrough, my character is at Last Light Inn heading for Moonrise - and it looks like I may regret giving Roah Moonglow an early retirement at the Goblin Camp as she sells it.
@@MorganaEvelyn I've just begun Act 3 with my Stealth Archer. Leveling up, and equipping as you've suggested. I have to say it's a very impressive build, and a lot of fun. I have made one derivation though. I'm using "Ring of Spiteful Thunder" instead of "Ring of Free Action". It's a bit riskier (!), but your build relies heavily on stealth, and ranged offense. This ring simply adds to the offense. By enchanting Titan Bow with Thunder damage, the addition of this ring means foes are left 'dazed' if I don't single shot them. Overall, it's been super fun, and your video has increased my enjoyment of BG3. Thank You.
I used a lot of ideas from this build (went 5 gloomstalker ranger/5 assassin rogue/2 fighter) with focus on titanstring as my main ranged weapon, and my God, the damage is so GOOD. Orin's battle has always been tough for me, but I literally chugged a cloud giant potion, fired arrows of monstrosity slaying, and took her down to double digits health after the first round (action surged for two extra attacks). Fight ended on my next turn with a single arrow. One and a half rounds and I think she even missed me on her attack. God, it was so delightful; I'm running my next game as a druid but I respec'd Astarion as this build because it was so immensely satisfying. Very excited to confront the end game enemies/Netherbrain!
Orin's battle was so bhaller. I did the same as you tried a monstrosity slaying arrow and was stunned by the damage. Good luck for your end game. It's a serious dopamine hit seeing the big damage and hearing that reverb proc 😊
this was really cool. I just got the game. Played as a dwarf barbarian but made a new character to try your build. This is my new fav. Gotta rewatch this a couple more times so i can het the items

First time viewing your videos and channel. I know i have struck gold! Your accent and manner of speaking is so unique, fresh and funny. I couldn't focus on half of the vital info! Need to watch it again, as i have been playing boring Paladin for the last 2 playthroughs. I am absolutely all for solo stealth archer. Thank you for such an awesome video and build.
Hello and welcome. Thank you so much for the kind comment. I paced it really fast but structured with chapters so people can go back if they need. You gotta try this out because I love playing this build. I haven't gotten bored yet after a few hundred hours. The thing I miss most about paladin is the smite sound - but if you use the boots of stormy clamour with reverberation, the sound is just as good. Anyways best of luck if you try this out 😊

Morgana, the Titan Bow is now sold by the Bugbear merchant in Moonrise Towers - amazing damage output, esp with elixirs of hill giant and cloud giant elixirs - already on level 6 my wood elf is taking home the game - I downed Aunt Eadie in one round, had to restart the game 3 times, just to bring her HP to 30, and not 0, for the ability score bonus! Thanks for your amazing work Morgana!
This is the best build video I've ever watched. Not only includes all the info about the build itself, but also where to find the items you need and tips on how to get them. If that wasn't enough, you get a "how to play" guide so you see how it works in game. The build is also probably the best and most broken build in the entire game. What more could you ask for?
Thank you so much for your kind words. I felt guilty about my last stealth archer video because it was more a fun silly entertaining video rather than a ground up guide for players of all skill levels. I had this current video in ideation for months and I'm so glad to have finally shared it with everyone. I tried to make it as impactful and entertaining as possible and to hear this comment made it all worth it 😊
having a fucking blast with this build in my murder hobo run, clearing moonrise was absolute treat I've done so many builds, but never tried this before, it's just so fun and satisfying
I'm so glad to have come across your channel! I'll give Honor Mode another try after my failed attempt caused by picking the wrong gunpowder while saving Nere--so traumatic
I haven't seen anyone mention this yet. There's a way to get extra deception right off the character creation by clicking through charlatan/acolyte in a specific way. Not quite sure what I did, but I've been able to recreate the bug a few times.
Great video! After failing too many solo honor modes, this video helps almost too much. Lol. Please keep them coming. I will say this build plays a little different on console, and you'll enter turn-base much more often. But just learn the differences, and you'll be fine.
Background: She says Criminal, but you get Illithid Expertise later in the game anyway. A better option is Urchin. Favored enemy: You already get the Risky Ring, making True Strike irrelevant, so choose Keeper of the Veil for Arcana. Ranger skills: Choose Athletics, like she says. Also choose Investigation. If you play Dark Urge, choose Stealth. Otherwise, you already have Urchin for Stealth, so choose Perception. Natural Explorer: She says to choose Urban Tracker, but you already get Slight of Hand from either your background (or Proficiency later on as Dark Urge), so choose Beast Tamer for a familiar. Rogue Skills: Choose Acrobatics, Perception and Performance. If you play Dark Urge, choose Slight of Hand. Otherwise, since you already have Slight of Hand from your Urchin background, choose either Deception, Intimidation or Persuasion. Rogue Expertise: Choose Stealth, like she says. (Actually she says proficiency by accident). For your other expertise, that's up to you, probably Athletics. Cleric skills: Choose religion. If you play the Dark Urge, choose History. Otherwise, choose Medicine. Fighter skills: Choose survival. If you play the Dark Urge, choose Insight. Otherwise, choose History. Carry the Idol of Silvanus with you for proficiency in Nature and Animal Handling. (Steal it back from Mol.) For your Illithid powers, choose Luck of the Far Realms and Illithid Expertise. You are now proficient in every single skill and also have expertise in Stealth, Deception, Intimidation, Persuasion and one more skill of your choosing, such as Athletics.
Stumbled across your channel today. Just about to start a new run and this looks awesome! Gonna have to give this video a full watch once I get off work, can’t wait to get going!
Lmao I’ve been playing my solo the same way I attacked honor mode with my full party. I’ve learned it’s a totally new game lol, and how squishy I am without my party! I think I also set a record for the fastest run over lol. Anyway… it’s finally the weekend and I can finally spend some quality time getting into it. My only dilemma is… I want to do another durge run but I don’t know what to do with shadowheart. Do I go duo, leave her at camp or kill her… I actually don’t want to kill her… I’m not sure yet… Anyway… super excited to try your build and some of the ways you approached things in your runs. Did you keep any companions alive? I haven’t watched all of the run yet, I actually want to watch that 11 hour full stream you have posted. Anyway, sorry for the wall of text! Hope you’re having a good one! Looking forward to w/e video you put out next! Cheers!

heh i was actually playing 2 of my past playthroughs using exactly the same build which i came to by myself, just didn't know about dolors' knifes and ty for that! The slight adjustment is that i like using gloom lvl5/assasin lvl 3/champion lvl 3 (instead of 1 lvl in war cleric and only 2 in fighter) because i play solo without not-must-have long rests. i tried this build inspired by you! i have to say i only had difficulties against cazador but i did a lot of things differently (also i was on ps5). For example i started with thief (for roleplaying reasons) and i almost always forgot to use greater invis and pass without trace 💀 but i managed to clear the game and it was satisfying af
thank you for the video! i always slow these videos down to half speed as i'm making my character in real time along side.. and i gotta say, your vocal cadence at half speed is hilarious! (in the best way)
About the Act2 Skip, yall keep in mind that playing in honor mode shouldn't be about the campaign but rather actually getting through the game. You could die at any given moment, so if you wanna enjoy the story and get through all possible sidequest then you should play tactician. Thanks Eve, for the great video and your effort!!
This depends. You are losing some vendors and quests throughout all 3 acts. EXP and items are power and stacking power is how you beat Honor mode. Finishing the Grove quest line isn't difficult. Whether you skip it or not depends on your party and other factors. An example of why EXP is important is Myrkul. A common reason people struggle with Myrkul is being underleveled. If your party isn't level 9 at Myrkul, you are throwing away power and adding unnecessary risk to the run
@tadferd4340 I understand what you mean, but what my comment was referring to is that if you follow this specific guide you ain't gonna play for storyline. Playing for story and character development in honor mode is just way to risky, you could loose 50 hours of progress to a small mistake :)
funny thing about gloomstalker, the dread ambusher special attack only consumes the buff granting it, when it actually hits something. so if you keep shooting empty space you have infinite attacks. neat way of finding invis enemies
Just did my Ethel fight for the +1 dex. I went there at level 5 and I had Shadowheart with me, thought I'd duo it but I chickened out. Just went back at lvl 8 by myself. Got her down under 30 hp in 2 rounds. Probably could have done it in 1 but I screwed up. Started the fight with the usual outlined gear and the ring of free action in place of the strange conduit ring. Cast enhanced leap, had pass without a trace on, used wyvern toxic and then threw a smoke powder bomb in where I knew she was. This broke her hiding and didn't place me in combat. So I was excited that I was gonna get some free shots in before combat began. I clicked on her and fired away... unfortunately I was on melee weapons, as the last thing I'd done was switch my dagger back in after enchanting my bow... so my character ended up running in for a melee attack. I did crit though so it was nice damage. I backed off to reduce the disadvantage from being too close. Her attack of opportunity missed and I unloaded what I had left. I also screwed up and put hunter's mark on her which caused her legendary action to go off. I survived a few shots of poison from her clones and then had my second round. 2 chances to bring her under 30hp and a 75% chance. Didn't miss and bobs your uncle. I think I could have taken her in 1, I also wonder what lvl I could have done it at. Anyway super stoked, and really enjoying this build. Time to go back and finish other stuff off around moonrise.
Glad to hear you're enjoying this build. Moonrise is so fun with it. Yeah Ethel can either be a cakewalk or spicy there's no in between honestly. Hey you got it in the end. I generally prefer to fight her at level 5 just for a safe margin. Your choice of the ring of free action is so clutch, I wouldn't ever recommend that fight solo without that ring. Good luck with your run and thanks for sharing your experience
As a D&D player, I'm positively surprised by rangers and stealth builds becoming that good! Although, I'd hate using anything but turn-based for my playthrough, thus losing some opportunities. But stealth is so easily cheesable!

I working with this build, not doing it to a T tho, on my coop run with two of my very good friends who are playing the game for the first time. I'm playing as Shadowheart. Playing as her is the only opportunity I have to explore the romances of other companions, so she's currently trying to rizz up Gale rn. I can't wait to see what crazy shit Shadows gonna get up, and my friends' reaction to all the damage.
Archer builds are probably my favorite in this game. They are compatible with so much gear the game gives you and there are also a lot of tools to make them better like special arrows and illithid powers. Imho Titanspring should have a swapped location with Gontr Mael cuz I feel like it's kind of a bad bow ngl. I only give it to Laezel for the no Lethargic Haste. It definetely feels more like a support bow than an actual dps bow looking at its stats tbh. I tried the Dolor amarus on crits with bows and it really does work ! they really need to update that text lmao. Speaking of I still prefer the sword of lifesteal on a crit build because if you off hand atk with it and make it trigger sneak atack it trigger the necrotic damage twice giving an extra 20 damage on a bonus action which is really nice but it's efinetely not as strong as putting every ressource into max Titanstring damage. I do find it more fun for rp reason to have a character good in melee/range so I usually still go with it on astarion. the tempHp is nice but the build I use usually means encounters are over in the same turn tho lol.
@@SonicMondragon oh I was stressing hard about it being understandable especially with my accent 😂 I'm so glad tho. Some of the concepts are pretty complex but I tried my best to make it accessible for everyone so thank you for your comment
That is pretty insane! Only thing I wonder is if the Bonespike Gloves (makes attacks ignore physical damage resists) from Strangler Luke in the Bhaal Gauntlet would be worth it when fighting enemies with Piercing Resist? I am not even certain if that synergizes with the Bhaalist Armor and would make the Murder Aura work in those cases, but it just tickled my mind.

Going back to regular turn-based after this is going to be a challenge
@@MayHugger pedantic asf
I think OP means "PVE" games. Where its players vs environment. Therefore its okay if builds are broken because its not effecting another players fun. Its very obvious this is what they were talking about because they describe it perfectly......
@@MayHugger your multiplayer argument is asinine
@@MayHugger he meant primarily single player game which everyone and their mother obviously knew.
Ms Evelyn thank you again for the awesome build guide. Love deleting my enemies and long jumping through the map 🎉
You're welcome sweetie. I love jumping across the map with the strength elixirs. Makes traveling really interactive haha
800 hours into the game and it took THIS vid to discover the club of hill giant strength 🤯 crazy
Same lol
Some extra notes
-If you don't want the disadvantage of saving throws that the risky ring gives you, you can use the gloves of the automaton instead
-Phalar Aluve can also be a great source of extra damage specially early on
- It might also be worth going into swords bard for slashing flourish instead of ranger for slashing flourish, essentially doubling you're damage as well (I used a level 10 6 swordsbard 3 assassin 1 war cleric to two turn Myrkul in Act 2)
@@loghead1015 the no pass without trace until lvl 10 would be true
if there wasnt a ring early act 2 that can cast pass without trace its not like you can lose your concentration using this build
This build is disgusting I love it so much. I am absolutely going to try it for my solo HM run - thank you for sharing it!
Best of luck. I had a blast using it during my solo run and I know you will too. You got this 😊
Brutally OP build and expert execution by the mistress of mayhem.
I'm doing much the same but with a Lightfoot Halfling.
Thanks so much for this. This reminds me a lot of how I played my archers on Honour mode in Divinity: Original Sin II, where standing on a high elevation and using certain buffs would allow you to attack from so far away that enemies would attempt to start turn-based combat but could not physically find you.
This build and playstyle might just be the fresh breath of air after 700 hours in the game. Definitely going to check it out, thanks sweetie

Shadowcute does inflict a condition on me 😊
Thank you so much for the comment Toof.

Excellent guide and explanations!
You made the Skyrim stealth archer in BG3! That's impressive!
You are the most Australian sounding Australian that I’ve ever heard and I love it!
Not gonna lie its a breath of fresh air hearing an Aussie sheila content creator for once, you are few and far between. Great vid!
The first 30 seconds made me subscribe, love it.
funny thing about gloomstalker, the dread ambusher special attack only consumes the buff granting it, when it actually hits something. so if you keep shooting empty space you have infinite attacks.

Pinging them is much faster, but i guess this works as well.
@@KingPrincess69 this is what you do to find Auntie Ethel 😉

It's good ting in DnD as well. Most DMs just have their NPCs act smarter and don't allow for this kind of cheese.

I working with this build, not doing it to a T tho, on my coop run with two of my very good friends who are playing the game for the first time.
I'm playing as Shadowheart. Playing as her is the only opportunity I have to explore the romances of other companions, so she's currently trying to rizz up Gale rn.

I can’t wait to try it out for myself. Maybe the game will give me my golden dice this time, thanks for sharing.
Ever since I tried out this build, I cannot go back to normal. Always have one one my team
Just got my Honour Mode clear and achievement on PC thanks to this build!...
...combined with the Trader 'pouch' glitch.
If it’s alright by titanstring, it’s alright by me.

They do work. You just need to remember to equip them for piercing resistant bosses.
Oh I tried it out on the Steel Watcher Titan and they're great on the flaming balls in the house of hope. If you remember to switch I'd recommend it. I'm just lazy and keep the Craterflesh on 99% of the time for all the damage riders
This is the most powerful build, you can't change my mind, nothing gets close to being able to destroy enemies and they can't do anything against you
this game is a fine wine with fine ingredeints to play with.
