Note:
#1: at 10:30 your ux0 may have more than 15 files to copy. That is OK. When I recorded this video I formatted my vita memory card so it could have less folders than yours. (You may have some dlc folders)
#2: if you are using cheap knockoff sd card please don't come here say it doesn't work or it damaged my vita.
#3. if you don't have a Vita Memory Card for PS vita 1000. here is a new method to jailbreak without a memory Card for PS Vita 1000:

#4 upgrade to a larger SD card later on
Use windows to format the new card as texfat. Then copy old card stuff to new card and made sure hidden files are shown and all files on old sd card are moved into your new sd card. Then just plug in the new SD card into VIta and you are good to go.
When selecting the SD2VITA and then selecting “Memory card” as the other category, isn’t that only for the PS vita 1000? If using the 2000 you select internal memory as the newer ps vita models had internal memory as opposed to 1000 which did not?
@@guidofrootloops2847 on PS Vita 2000 UX0 is your internal build-in memory storage. PS Vita 1000 UX0 is Sony ps vita memory card.

ux0 is the internal memory for PS vita 2000 also for meomry card for psvita 1000. you will have same selecting no matter its psvita1000 or 2000.

Just got myself a 2000 model. In very very good condition! Never had this Sony console so wanted one for years. Looked at other guides and non of them worked on mine. This is brilliant! followed all the steps and it worked! I did need to straight up delete some games to make the file transfer not take so long. I got an error code the first time and I think it happened because I let the screen get dim just once (not even turn off). The second time around I just made sure I was constantly moving the left analog to prevent the screen from dimming. Maybe overkill, but I didn't wanna risk it giving me an error code again. Thanks for the video guide!

I just modded my vita and it worked! I have the 1000 version and i had to turn on the internal storage before proceeding cause it wasn’t working before that, after that everything went smooth

Note: When doing the format on the SD2Vita, make sure you preformat the card to exFat. If you try to pull a sd card that is preformated FAT32, it will error out.

Hey man, all good with the modding. The only issue im having is that two times, i have experienced a corrupt file issue once when i was on pkgj and the other time when i was playing a game.
I turned the console off and cleaned the s2d memory card as I've heard that can help i also put the console in safe mode and restarted it which both helped and fixed the issue but im worried that this will keep happening constantly as ive only modded it today and its already happened twice.

enjoy. no problem there is no limit but i suggest use 512gb at maximum otherwise the psvita system will slow down because you have too much stuff on it.
I noticed SD2VITA Supports only up to 256GB Micro SD but can I still use 512gb Micro SD card???
It work. My Vita finally jailbreak. Thank you very much. Did not set Sd2Vita though because I don't have it yet but my Ps Vita memory card is 16Gb. So I decide to use it first and set the Sd2Vita later. There wont be any problem right? I can use the same method to set the Sd2Vita later right?

Just don’t format your vita memory card if it’s psvita 2000 you can remove the memory card then jailbreak.

Yes there is potential I suggest you back up your photo onto a pc first.

What PS Vita would you recommend between the 1000 and 2000 model
no problem. I think most of ppl will recommend PSP1000 because of the oled screen it does looks very in color compare to 2000 but I personally like Vita2000. its slimmer and feels more comfortable to hold on hand also, less weight.

My microSD card doesn’t come in until the end of the week. Can I start downloading games on my PlayStation memory card first? And if so, when I add my micro SD card, I have to re-download the games on there or do the PlayStation and microSD work simultaneously? Sorry for the question.

You will need the Memory card for PS vita 1000. Before your vita get jailbreak the sd card is not working. It only works after jailbreak.

You have to re-do the SD2Vita adapter setup process again with the bigger sd card then copy all your game files over the bigger card.

After jailbreaking, can you still use the original Sony memory card for storage? I want all my PSP games stored on the original card and the SD2Vita for my Vita games. Also, is it possible to upgrade to a larger SD card that's inside the SD2Vita later? Can I just copy the files over to a larger card on a PC?

When I download some games from VitaDB, sometimes it tells me that there are PC files missing (like delta files for example). It says i can continue with downloading the game anyway. Can i download it and not worry about it? Or do i need these files?

Yes you can remove the sd2vita card and It doesn’t matter.
if you have vita 1000 oled version make sure the vita memory card is inserted in this case.

Yes 128gb is good too. Make sure use the high quality sd card from big brand like Samsung. Under video description I listed the recommended sd card .

np, you will need memory card for vita 1000. vita1000 doent have any storage inside the system so you cant store anything basically without memory card.
That's not entirely true. The 2 models actually have the same amount of storage. It's just not accessible on the 1000 without modding it. Just select replace NEAR with Vita Deploy option.

Maybe try a different sd card. This could caused by cheap kickoff sd card
uma0 isn't showing up in the File Explorer. But I was able to format the SD2Vitat just fine. Any thoughts?
