I just got that kit from autozone. Those were rounded o rings. They wouldn’t allow the hose to be reseated all the way. I need to go back and find flat ones.
Liked and subbed! Thank you a million! I watched another video and the other guy made it seem like the o-ring sat flush at the bottom of the connector there and I tried that and fought it for hours. Watched your video and actually got to visualize where exactly the o-ring was and I ran out and tried it... Boom! Went together like butter. The old o-ring was so worn out that it looked like it was part of the connector, so I completely overlooked it! Spending hours on it, I'm both pissed off and relieved at the same time lol!
Nice job thank you. I have an existing leak of fluid and am smelling coolant too. I’m gonna Look for leak….. the fluid leak maybe so,etching else…. Clear oily fluid … but I’ll def look at that tee….
I have a slow leak dripping off the area just above the back of the front dif. Seems to come back with cold weather. I hope my issue is this easy but those connections felt dry to me.
Where was the coolant going? I’m having the same issue with mine. Sometimes it leaves a small puddle on the driveway and sometimes not. I need to fill the reservoir regularly and I can smell the coolant burning but don’t always see it. 👍🏻
I have a 2013 ford xlt 5,0 Have been using a lot of antifreeze. I cannot see any antifreeze on the engine or on the ground changing the O-ring does this O-ring leak out slowly.
yes, slow leak and mainly on shut down when the engine drains back. Had the same issue, took about a month for it to start making the engine heat up. New o-ring and fresh Orange 50-50 coolant and it's fixed.
Getting antifreeze all over your serpentine belt could cause it to squeal indefinitely and will need to be replaced. Best to cover it with a trash bag.
Thanks a bunch. Btw the o ring kit is 926-168.

Holy shit this just worked.... Gave the number to the AutoZone person and wabammm!!!
Says that's kit don't fit 2013 with eco boost 3.5
Thank you. Hope this is my issue, not likely because that is not how my life works. BUT, if it is, you made me feel a lot better about it..... Subbed
