as a fellow e36 owner(328i sedan in my case) and done that job i can almost guarantee you that you'll have to replace every single power steering line and probably replace or rebuild, changing all the seals including the one that connects to the steering column and the resovoir cap o'ring, i don't know why but they all leak, and may i ask what is that stainless steal braided line going under the subframe? that seems really sketchy. is that a watercooled turbo as well? i would like to see the routing if it is. great video, keep it up. Cheers!

One similarity these ancient things all have in common is their failure of power steering and/or coolant system. wether it be lines or plastic or the whole compressor itself! I will be replacing all of the power steering and ad a cooler to it as well because it starts to whine after a few hard runs. As for the SSB line, that is the turbo feed line! perfectly fine in its spot hasn't given me issues just yet lol, everything is ziptied into place! the turbo is indeed water cooled, and I am in the process of getting to an "in-depth" video of the kit so stay tuned!

I just delete the whole power steer system. Makes life a whole lot easier
