I finished my 40th day recently. I have continued use 3 days a week using the heaviest ball. I started with 35 rotations for two weeks and I'm now doing 40 rotations in each position, clockwise and counter-clockwise for a total of 320 rotations. As my strength increases, my number of rotations will increase as well. I am 100% completely satisfied with the system and my progress. Thank you!
I felt relief after the second day. I had rotator cuff surgery and ended up doing steriod shots again, after about 3 years. I finished the program and never used the night time strap, but am pain free anyway.
I just received my RotatoReliever last week. The instruction that came with it did not mention the 4th position (bent over). I'm curious about why it wasn't mentioned. I will include it in my exercise routine. It's too bad that the questions folks ask here are left unanswered.
@@mreverybody1150 I came here with the same question, it seems that 2.0 the cord length is too long to do the 4th position exercise. However I am curious about the very low diagonal position seen in the instagram promotion videos and newer videos that is not mentioned at all.
Response from Customer Support: We took position 4 out of the instruction sheet (bent over) as we learned people were hitting themselves in the leg. It is a good position if you can perform it safely.
Sounds like it is because people are dumb and whacked themselves. There are literally dozens of positions this could be done in. More really. Every single angle you can put the shoulder in. Everyone needs their hand held and to be told what to do to do anything. It amazes me.
Is this more about the speed of the movement than the weight of the ball. I feel like I can do 2 balls at once at a lower speed but do 1 ball at a higher rate of speed. I definitely feel like it’s targeting the rotator cuff more when I’m spinning the lower weighted ball at a higher velocity.
Is it mandatory to sleep on your back? I absolutely can’t. I go between sleeping on side & belly sometimes in fetal position. I assume that’d negate the traction effect & wouldn’t work.
I thought i had problems with my rotating cuff but based on X-ray i have arthritis instead. I bought this unit I used it during the day with no problem. At night using the brace on my leg and arm I wake up with shoulder pain and even though the wrist brace is not tight my wrist hurts. Is this good for me?
Good morning doc I got mine. I have a question. Is it ok to use the roto reliever and the bodyblade on alternating days or on the same day. The bodyblade has helped me a lot but I still have weakness in my shoulders
I bought this for the night time brace and I couldn't wear it. It made my shoulder hurt more at night. I tried various tensions, but just couldn't get it to work. Anyone else?
@@liljuicebox0524 Have not hit the 40 day mark yet, I have like 8 days to go I think. I had a lot of trouble sleeping with the arm band on, but I've been doing the exercises every day and my shoulder does feel significantly better.
@@liljuicebox0524 I've missed a day or two but not intentionally, it's not time consuming and I've found the most benefit by just taking a few minutes to do it every day.
Hi Dr. Carroll, is this protocol effective if you have a torn rotor cuff? My Orthopedic surgeon says once torn surgery is the only way to fix it. I'm opting to try your method first, thoughts?
@@rhondachiljan6671 OK. That is the a great question and my most common question. Our product most definitely does not heal a RC tear as in bring it back together. Our product is awesome at rehabbing whatever is left of the rotator cuff. Also keep in mind my favorite research on shoulders took 100 60 year-olds and MRI their shoulder. None of them had pain. 60% of them had RC tears. So really the answer is if it is a small tear yes the shoulder rehabs well and you can have pain free full function. Unfortunately if it is a big tear, you may well do better with surgery. Dr. C

Dr. Carroll, your last post here was 7 years ago. Do you still believe in this product?

The older kit includes that exercise. Version 2 of the kit does not. I assume they removed it for a reason.

HAVE SCALENE STIFFNESS AND PAIN. WILL THIS HELP?
Can it be done sitting down I’m a wheelchair user.
I have trouble wearing the night time device as it makes me feel anxious and for lack of a better word, claustrophobic.
After like 20 minutes.

I think it’s intended to use only 1 ball at a time but move up to a heavier ball every ten days.

Is this good and ok for frozen shoulder??
Can one workout if they do bodybuilding for the 40 days?
what do you do AFTER the 40 days to keep the area strong so that re-injury doesn't happen?
Keep doing the exercises. Rehab becomes prehab.

Do we do the day part (weighted ball) every day or one day workout and one day off?
I just ordered, I really hope this works. I've had to cut back on my BJJ training due to shoulder pain.
