Miles did an amazing job with his lines this episode, you really feel the emotions that jaune is going through, ruby and jaune really need a hug, they havnt gotten a break in multiple volumes 😭
And most of all if that situation to all of us just tell the truth to our friends love one we cannot hide it just make thing go worse they will understand because there our friends so pretty much that the breaking point and they need to ruby or else probably someone is going to die and I hope it's not jaune or anyone of the RWBY
it’s absolutely so fitting that the breaking points of both ruby and jaune come after yet another civilization meets its end with no chance of either of them being able to save it
Personally, Ruby is my favorite of team RWBY, just because I like characters like her. I don't really like l dislike any of the characters though, except for Adam. I didn't really like his character, and I never understood why so many people had such high expectations or hopes for his character. I knew what type of character he was from the black trailer, and nothing that came afterwards gave me any indication of there being anything he could evolve into that was better unless showing major happened that I knew wouldn't. Personally, all those expectations or hopes they had for him, I had for Roman, and yet I love the ending they had for him because it was a perfectly ironic ending for him and they'd shown that the Grimm were attacking them every once in a while beforehand.
I find it funny you point out that if ruby had brought up the plan then they would have cheered about it but because its jaune they ignore it... because this entire season theyve all ignored ruby who was supposed to be the leader. They werent exactly vilifying jaune, the village essentially wanted to commit suicide by human perspective and he wanted to save them. So it's a much more complicated scenario than one which straight up vilifies jaune.
@@DimiDawg well tbf everyone's plans in the last season failed, Weiss and whitleys plan to ferry everyone to safety was ruined by ironwood, yang's plan to lead the effort to get everyone to the crater and save mantle was ruined by salem, Ruby's plan to get amity up was ruined by both watts and ironwood, and ironwoods plan was never gonna work in the first place and if it did it would just amount to hiding until salem found a way to knock them out of orbit and kill the people in atlas anyways, let alone that theres only so far people are willing to go before they refuse to blindly follow. The funny thing is that they basically ended up in the best outcome they could given the absolute worst circumstances. The only one that had their plans actually work out was Salem.

Salem promised to extinguish the flame, the smaller soul will meet the same pitiful demise. Well, the flame seems extinguished, very real chance Ruby chooses ascension.
Honestly, I'm not sure if they'll be able to wrap up Ever After this season without rushing the current conflicts and making things feel half-baked. Depending on how things go in the next episode or two, I feel like they might end this season with a character ascending (Ruby or Jaune?), The first half of next season would be resolving the current tensions and leaving Ever After, and the second half would be in Vacuo.
In the intro only Team RWBY running on the tree. (It could be misdirection on purpose), but there is a big chance, that Jaune sacrifice himself for them, or decide, that stay here.
Other than Rubys internal fight with herself and her fight with Neo…there’s nothing else really going on. We show up in a new place..something goes wrong..they leave.. the episodic plot is the style they’re going which is how they’re breezing through this place
I heard Monty had everything planned out to Volume 12. If they extend it to 14, then yay. But I do see them going to 12 where maybe after this volume they will either be in vacuo and saving it for maybe 2 volumes and the final be the epic battle to stop Salem. Looking in the past volumes, they’ve stayed in a kingdom for at least 2 volumes, but maybe because it’s the last kingdom it be more. Let’s not forget they still need 2 relics and protect them and the gods return for judgement. So i believe that it can be 12-14 volumes and I’d love for them to do and have faith that it’ll continue til the very end
Well that's both correct and incorrect, he may have given miles and Kerry a roadmap as to what's to happen throughout the series, but he didn't plan every little detail throughout the story, remember, some of the added content they add moves around certain things that were already planned to happen, for example maidans were not thought on until during the beginning of volume 1, same goes for neo herself. It's more accurate to say he placed in key plot points for Kerry and miles to follow and they added in the details to expand the story along with moving the plot forward.

Okay, bullshit. Ruby also left Yang after the Fall of Beacon, she has no right to criticize Blake for the same. Weiss grew out of that years ago dragging it up now is a REACH. And Yang having a romantic relationship is NOT betraying Ruby. If you think your sibling getting into a relationship with someone else means they don’t love you any more that is a GIANT problem. Yang gave up her childhood for Ruby, gave up Raven for Ruby, died for Ruby, and she has been checking in with her repeatedly this whole volume before being cut off. Her having a relationship outside of Ruby is NOT a problem and the fact that Ruby sees it as such is a giant red flag. Ruby is right to feel neglected, but she is wrong to take it all out in a massive rant after refusing help previously.
