@@MarshallSmartmany thanks for the quick reply, I can take a welder over there if I need to so I’ll bear that in mind. It seems that the seals at both ends of the cast ion housing are gone as the break is full of oil, as this isn’t a restoration, more so a functional repair on a budget, I’m hoping to get away with just replacing the outside seal, although any advice would be hugely appreciated as this is all new to me.

Any advice for getting the seal out with hand tools? I’d rather keep it as small of a job as possible as it’s not my tractor
