Gotta love that super charger sound. That torque is right in the sweet spot. Lot's of nice 3 valves out there. They have that classic throwback to the 60's vibe. The 05 to 08 are my favorite look.
Hi if the video does not have a good place to pause to see it check out this link of tons of other 3V videos I am sure you will find some with a better shot of graphs. thanks! th-cam.com/play/PLyyePPaOSI81BtzSrQjoJ_rJzqp6xzk1t.html
Doing this or the DoB setup since you can save on cost with a used stock Eaton + the Eaton whine is much more noticeable that the Edelbrock LOL love seeing these builds though it's awesome
Love it! 3v Wednesday! Those are some nice numbers. That will be fun on the street! Hope to get my 3v on the channel someday. Time to email George soon!🙂 Thanks for the video!
That is one clean Mustang a beautiful one!! Put some long tubes on that baby and it's good for even more Horsepower maybe 500 plus. That is a lot of torque.
It doesn't need long tube headers. That engine's already in the sweet spot for HP & TQ. Personally I'd have kept the stock cams to maintain big block levels of torque below 5000rpm. You aren't going to rev that engine past 6500 anyway so you can keep the stock intake manifold with delete plates. A 62mm throttle body would be beneficial since this is a positive displacement supercharger.
If I were to buy the Paxton 2200 kit would I lose power because I have hot rod cams? I have seen a lot of people say that when going the boosted route the stock cams are better than hot rods or Detroit rockers and I’m trying to figure out if that’s true or not.
@Brenspeedengineering do you agree with a lot of peoples opinions that that McLeod RST chatters quite a bit especially at low rpms? I was considering it but for those reasons. How would you compare a Centerforce?
I only use RST or RXT. RXT on 18+ supercharged cars. RST on 3V. I have the RST on my 3V. I cant hear mine chattering BUT I do know what you re referring to. If you drive at really low rpm and lug it you may here the two disks rattle together as it is a twin disk. You pretty much have to lug it at low rpm to get it to do it but I don't cruise around in 4th at 1300 rpm lugging it if you know what I mean.

They do look great. I mean I like S550's handling but I do like the 3V look for sure.
I have a 14 gtcs but really want to pick up a 05-09 3v. I just love the way they sound.
There are still plenty of clean 3V available!
This is exactly the route I was thinking for my 3v. I just wish there was a nice stationary shot of the full dyno graph. Love the videos!

I wouldn't if the motor isn't built. 450-500 hp and or torque is about all it can take
@@cdizzle60 Well if you have a built motor it can handle it however I think it could go to 500 horsepower plus with about the same torque.
Here is my take on limits after building these since 2005. Check out this video link. th-cam.com/video/oe-TR6JKtvo/w-d-xo.html
@@BrenspeedEngineering great video with good info. I need a turn key solution 👀. Thank you for the continued 3v support.

Was wondering why this build seemed to under perform compared to similar ones until I heard the 91 octane and no long tubes.
Nope 91 and shortys, dead on. THANKS
Ordering your turn key kit.
Do I need to have my 3v tuned??
Or just load your tune that comes with the kit?
You just load our tune that comes with it.
Does the ford racing strut tower brace fit over that blower?
A bullitt strut tower brace will. That is the only one I know that fits.

Not true. Keep your cams. You will still have awesome gains across the board vs. stock with cams. We do it all the time. THANKS
@@BrenspeedEngineering I really appreciate the response man! Now all I need to do is save some money lol 😂
With thi kit would Longtube Headers put the HP/TQ into the danger zone for the stock rotating assy?
No you are still good. THANKS!

I have the RST, don't notice it chattering.

@@BrenspeedEngineering So you would recommend RST for FBO or non-supercharged 3V clutch replacement?
Hey im curious if anyone would know where i can get an intake tube for the 2.3L Whipple. I've looked and can't find anything
Besides directly from whipple I would have no idea because it is discontinued. Maybe they have one laying around.

Is bro made of rubber? Is that why he bounces when he speaks? Feels like Gen x trying to be cool and relate to Gen z.
Yes I am. Pure rubber.
@@BrenspeedEngineering Laughing out loud that is funny Brett.
