I had a lot of fun with everyone at Power Driven Diesel. They are a bunch of hard-working guys who absolutely love what they do. They do amazing work! By the way, I'm planning to publish a video on the transmission rebuild on December 3rd. Thanks again to the Power Driven Diesel Team for the collaboration, and I'm hoping to collaborate with the PDD team again!!
Watching your reaction they definitely did you good love both channels so much glad to seen the collaboration between you two
They need to hand you a set of every popular head stud now so you can show us a REAL test!
@ProjectFarm we had an absolute great time as well! can't wait to do more in the future!
@@pddofficial Did you guys ever address the Killer Dowel Pin on his truck?
Love and follow both of your content! Love this collab
Project farm is an absolute legend. Genuinely good person.
He really is!
The diesel Community desperately needed this video, Project Farm is an absolute Legend!
I'm not into diesel at all and yet I'm impressed with the results, so I think this is a win for everyone
I've watched Project Farm for years, I love how wholesome he is, even when his eyeballs are being pushed into the back of his head by the tow truck "oh gosh" "oh my" 😂😂😂😂 0% swearing. 🙌
A real role model. 🤝
Damn grandpa's truck has more power than a new HO power stroke lol
Sure does!
what a cool collaboration! FarmDrivenDiesel
Yes was absolute blast!
This was great to see. Farm Todd works hard for us, so to see him get some satisfaction like this should make us all happy. I also think he is not the type to beat the truck into oblivion and it will last very many years. Great video.
527/1260 w a single turbo. Nice work!
Two of my favorite you-tubers together in a video was a lot of fun to watch.
Thank you
I love both of these channels. Appreciate what you do.
I’ve never seen Todd this happy! Great to see!
I like Farm Todd's nervous laugh during the ride along
Awesome to see my 2 favorite Chanels together
I'm so happy this collaboration happened
Us as well!
Hopefully he gets the Farmabago tuned. Pretty sure that's a gas powered V8.
Todd is the coolest dude ever!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Thank you
"hey, I know this little trick, it'll probably get you a few horsepower'
Ends up getting about 60hp more. lmao.
Gotta love these 12 valves.
They sure are amazing!
@@pddofficial you could say the are...
VERY IMPRESSIVE
Love it when great channels get together and do awesome things
I think farm Todd needs to test big Todd’s diesel engine oil with the high zinc additive package. Up vote!
He did buy some oil from us so maybe
There ain't nothing like a Poverty pump Cummins! Reliable as a farmer! Nice work!
Project Farm and Power Driven Diesel!!! What an awesome collab! 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Thank You
@@pddofficial anytime guys! Love the content and the work y’all do! 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Love project farm, never knew he owned a 2nd gen til recently!
You and me both!
I am a die hard Mopar man. Respect Todd's unbiased videos. PPD!!! Ever since the video of the green Cummins exploding at the end of the strip. I was impressed. I saw so many comments saying you guys build garbage. I see it as you all build high end drive trains, but are willing to push the limits.
Thank you!
That experience clearly paid off in making Todd's engine more powerful but not TOO powerful. You won't know what's safe unless you destroy something or somebody else does it for you. Car manufacturers clearly don't want to tell you their engines are not pushing max power, so tuners are the ones who do it.
I just got a 95 2500 and I'm saving up to come get work done on it.
Great to here it will be a fun truck
Amazing collaboration- hats off to both of you!
Thank you
Very impressive.
Thank you very much!
Now you need to do a test on the PDD oil. I’ve ran it in the past but I’d love to see a comparison test done with it.
you know it really doesn't make that much of a difference they just put their oil as insurance that you're at least using a top tier oil and not quaker state or some gas station crap
@@EkzdeeLFT Todd has already done videos on motor oils and most are almost identical. Unless this is some other oil you're talking about.
Todd's megacab is truly a testament to a boring reliable 4-digit daily driver.
I drove a 2001 Cummins Dodge to California from Seattle. 200 hp was definitely available. The torque was there, too.
Great video, that’s a healthy 12V 👍
Project Farm Rocks !!! thanks guys
Our pleasure!
Thanks for taking care of our booiiiiiiiiii
Always!
Glad to see you did something fun and beneficial for yourself since you do so much for us, the consumers. Cheers
That's funny cause I watch his channel too I love his channel cause he puts everything to the test
Thanks for the video, Project Farm is one of my favorite channels , The old ram will pull with the best of them now.
I'm not into diesels, but you guys seem like the dream team when it comes to knowing just how to make an engine and transmission better. You made Todd's truck not only more powerful, but also more fuel efficient and cleaner and more reliable. Most people only focus on one of those, not all at once. They want power, but sacrifice reliability or fuel efficiency. Or they want reliability by detuning the engine. Or they flat out get rid of mufflers and emission controls as a cheap way to get more power instead of keeping those in place and actually improving the engine itself. The irony is that, at least in a modern fuel injected gas engine, having the engine have more complete burns with higher compression is the exact method car manufacturers have gotten engines to push so much power while reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency.
What a surprise to find Project Farm here! I've been watching him, and PDD for a long time. Recently got your PDD Air Filter can for my '06 Ram 3500, 5.9 L of course. Love the new filter.
Thank you
You did some really great work on his truck and what a cool project, thank you!
Kick ass colab!!
Thank you
What a great bunch ! Really enjoyed this video 😄
Thanks so much! 😊
I love that Big Todds 1000hp tow rig hahaha I think my truck is badass and it makes 450 haha
Love those 2nd gens. and project farm! Awesome video
Thanks! 👍
Beautiful truck. Great mods.
Thanks 👍
I wonder if that "Old Farm Truck" will become a hand-me-down to Todd jr. someday?
Great work everybody.
Maybe? Thank you for the comment
Great colllab!! When I get my 1st 2nd gen, my first stop is at PDD. This was perfect!!
Nice!!
Awesome colab guys! Very impressive 😂
Thank You
This was such an awesome video. Great addition to the channel!
Glad you enjoyed it!
VERY IMPRESSIVE!
-- Following Todd (Project Farm) for years. I don't buy a paperclip unless he's reviewed it.
I love this guy!
Thank you
Awesome work as always guys 👍🏻
Thank you
As always thanks for great video I’m going to have to check out farm Todd’s videos again thank you David
Thank You
Hell yeah great video 2 of the best TH-camrs together
Appreciate that!!
Great job guys
Thank you
Great collab! 😎
Thanks! 😎
This is a great group of boys right here.
Been daily driving my 12 valve swapped chevy for a year and a half now. I've resisted the urge to turn it up because I want maximum life and reliability out of it. But maaaan this makes me want to tear into it.
Ironically this upgrade probably is just as reliable as bone stock because of the upgraded internals. Not to mention they definitely didn't push the engine to its absolute limit. It still has lots of wiggle room. The tune they applied is pretty much how a brand new Cummins would be in power whereas the Ram was basically detuned to meet emissions (before the days of modern particulate filters and whatnot).
Project Farm Todd president 2032
awesome video, thank you
You are welcome!
PF Todd making sure his guns are out to steal the show, which he never shows at home.. LMAO
🤷♂️😂
Looks like a similar setup to what you sold me several years ago. Mine is a ‘98 5-sp though. I would love to put it on a dyno sometime. Lots of fun to drive, and I put traction bars on it after I broke my pinion yoke.
Very cool!
This was fun, had to sub.
It truly was a blast! thanks for subscribing!
I love collabs like very impressive so to speak lol
Thank you
this is great
Need more 5.9 magnum builds so I can find inspiration in mine lol
PF you are an American treasure brother 🇺🇸🤙
Awesome truck
Thank you
5:14 YEAR OF THE LINUX DESKTOP LETS GOOO!!!!!
Very impressive
Thanks!
Love to make my stock o4 ram with a Cummins get some real power! About to HotShot w/it and stop making others money off my blood, sweat and tears!
We have a package for this powerdrivendiesel.com/product-category/dodge-ram-diesel/2003-2007-3rd-gen/03-07-power-packages/
Sweet mash up! I wish you guys could do this to my '97. It's also bone stock!
We can just give us a call 435-962-9555
Careful what you ask for! lol
Damn that’s almost the power that the modern heavy duties engines make with company tuning have. I think my DD15 is set at 485HP/1800FTLB
I have same package on my 12 valve and it is amazing the transformation
You went with the PDD Stage 1 injectors? Only thing I was wondering about are the Stage 2 Dynamite Diesel injectors. No core charge. Comparable performance?
I love that guy
I subbed cuz of project farm.
Thanks!!
Back in the 80's I had a '81 Peterbilt with a Cat 3406A that pretty sure did not have 1200* torque!
It is amazing how much torque these engines can put out with a few good modifications!!
@@pddofficial wonder if it was lack of knowledge, fear of poor reliability, or government regulations that caused almost all old diesels to be extremely underpowered.
Perfect timing. I just watched the preceding video.
Really would like to see the B-Life ratings of modding trucks. If there's no database, someone should start one.
Would like to see fuel economy stage 1, 2, 3, 'recipes'
Thanks for the idea!
Being from Minnesota I’ve never seen a second gen that clean before! I wouldn’t dare try to remove an exhaust manifold on anything unless I feel like cussing and fixing broken bolts all day.
That's normally how it is
Isn't Todd from like the midwest? They get snow and therefore salt in the roads and rust, right? Of course, Todd is the type of person to actually look underneath the vehicle from time to time to see if it's actually still safe to drive.
@@SonicBoone56 I’m not sure where he’s from but not every state uses salt, and you can wash them all you want but the shit still gets up in the places where you can’t really wash and is still gonna rust them out faster than non salt states. Once it gets cold enough most all the car washes shut down for the winter anyways so unless you’ve got a big heated shop with a hot water pressure washer ready to wash your vehicle after every trip in the winter than you’re not gonna stay ahead of it.
Awesome
Thank You
If he thought it felt gutless at 200 horse then he should go drive an actual stock one that only gets maybe 135 on a good day like you said 🤣
Crazy how that's less power than my old Chevy Cobalt. Granted it has more torque. I actually found out that the old school buses I rode in as a kid made like 200-300 horsepower and 600-700 lb-ft of torque. You'd think they'd be way more powerful considering they weigh at least 10 tons without any kids. Nowadays I think they're like 1.5x as powerful if not more, especially the hybrid versions.
Next up head gaskets? Lol
We have found a seasoned head gasket to hold quite well.
Well if ya need another 12 valve 1998 to throw new parts and get rolling like a top let me know
What was the stock torque with the 205 horsepower reading?
They usually hit 400 ft lbs, this one made a bit more, 460ish
Either this dyno is off on its calibration, or it was uprated somewhere along the way which was pretty common because no way, was a 160 hp stock engine, going to put 200hp at the wheels 😁. I am pretty sure of it, having had a '94 brand new same auto slushbox 12v.
Awesome video and work guys!! Happy Thanksgiving
Hey, guys, quick question, when highly building diesel, where build also uses ported heads, do you port match exhaust port to manifold, and manifold to turbo inlet? Or do you upsize the step as reversion prevention, which is common on petrol engine performance? Maybe you have tested backpressure, spool, hot side temp differences between port-matched hot side and stepped one? Which approach is more correct on diesel?
He is starting to look like Father Mulcahey from M.A.S.H!
Ok and what oil will project farm Todd run in his Cummins?? Inquiring minds want to know lol great video loved it 👍🏻
If I had a 6bt cummins I would have 210 hp I don't mind it being slow I just want it to get great mpg.
fair enough mines still a 160 hp but my mpgs are descent for a 2500
Farm Todd did a milage test on his way home a picked up some MPG!
EGT's? Yup!!!
Your #6 cylinder will over heat. You need a cooling bypass thermostat, that mounts on the back of the engine.
I wanna be able to do 70 mph rolling burnouts so badly
Depending on traction, weight, road conditions, you'll need anywhere from 1000 to 1300whp to successfully destroy the rear tires at 70 mph travel speed. It is fun!!!
I have a bone stick 1989 Cummins 12 valve, and it's not a dog,if you hear the turbo start to whistle, you need to find something to hold on to
Wish I was rich. I would love to get one of their trans. lol
Love the tranny build at project farm. Came here, liked, subscribed and shared!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the support!
Once you get a taste of that hp it's over you will be adding a 2nd turbo bigger injectors some more timing bigger incooler.
And your life will be spent repairing the drive train.
@@wtchr6883 not really these dodge will take a beating as far as the transmission transfer case and rear end. My truck has compound turbos makes 70psi boost no issues I built the transmission myself back in 2014 it's still holding.
@@bigmurph1447 so you already killed me transmission. Thanks.
👍💪
I also have a 1999 c2500 crew cab, with 307000 on the clock and I feel you are way better off not buying a New truck.people don't realize you have to do the same things to a new truck to keep it alive as an old one, minus the truck payment.
3rd from New Mexico 🫣
I need this set up on mine I just ordered the k27 from you all what ells do I need ?
Call our sales team or send us an email at sales@powerdrivendiesel.com and we can help you out!
What was the total cost in parts and labor? You guys didn't do exhaust on this truck. I Love your guys channel! You guys are Awesome! Keep it Coming! I subscribed!
Dude what trans was that?? I’ve wanted to swap a 12v for a while now but I’m not sure what trans to use. Would need to be an auto. Allison would be great but super pricey.
It was our 650hp 47re
Im astonished that it made 200 stock, stock 24vs wont even make that to the wheel😂
