Just recently finished replacing all my peripherals with corsair products. Have a Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic case, 6x QL120 fans custom profile, Commander Pro, K70 mk.2 lowpro keyboard, Dark Core RGB Pro SE mouse, Virtuoso SE headset. Love Corsair stuff.
This was a good video for showing off the full potential of the software. But I would definitely like a follow up mini series with a little bit more detail on the some of the more advanced stuff. I believe this could be broken down for new users on a more step by step basis ie stopping the RGB puke on load up. More details about the Asus motherboard lighting control and just a bit more of a breakdown on step by step. We are not all I-cue seasoned RGB professionals, just thought the video was a bit quick and we want to maximise and get the best possible use out of our corsair products!
I totally agree, I paid too much for RGB Corsair fans to have no real step by step explanation on how to set them up, every video is like this one, click, click, click and you're done. But I don't understand the first click yet! UGH!
Its because he has the commander pro, which is seperate, but he also shows how to use lighting node pro. Unless you bought the pack without the lighting node then you need to buy it
Damn, iCUE has come a long way. And to think, getting an HS70 headset cheap on Amazon during a sale forcing me to install it got me to purchase a 500D RGB SE, H100i RGB Platinum, and 4x8GB Vengeance RGB Pro memory. As much as I want the Dominator Platinum kit, think I'll wait for my next system.

It’s 2:33am when I started to write this, and I just had some sort urge to finally figure out how to get rid of that goddamn red keys and white strip on my k95p during boot ups or as this guy siad when ique isn’t on wich is actually more accurate. FINALLY. I don’t know why I never looked this up earlier, I guess I just didn’t know how to search for that. I’m thinking of doing it so that nothing is glowing at all until ique isn’t on, and then when it turns on I will have that fade in effect, where it starts a profile from the middle and expands out until it covers the entire keyboard. Can’t wait for tmrw lol, can’t do it now cus everyone is sleeping haha, maybe I can also fix the annoying-ass low sensitivity on my mouse when ique isn’t on too. And I will definitely utilise the way I can change keybinds as well as lighting effects on different apps. Nice. A very helpful video, thank you.
So, you guys partenered with Asus Aura atleast so that people could sync their products. Can I sync my ARGB fans connected to Asus Aura with Corsair iCUE or not?
I have searched everywhere and finally i thought i had found the answer, i want my mouse rgb to stay off when the pc sleeps or icue software isnt running, end of tip 2 seemed to have the answer i was so excited but then those options u had where not available on my icue ffs
ill say this. the vengeance pro rgb ram i got is very useful for system monitoring by tieing each led in a stick to a different temperature sensor in icue. icue its self is somewhat clunky to me but ive gotten used to it and it is much better than one other program i know of.
Pro tip - To RGB like a pro, Corsair iCue needs to consistently be able to detect connected devices first. My Corsair software doesn't detect any devices. PRO!!!
Very nice the Icue4 BUT is missing OSD and that is very bad when you change profiles often and you dont know in what profile you are... so is not upgrade is like downgrade on icue
I wanted to start messing with icue since i have a dark core pro rgb mouse. Installed the software then it suggested me a firmware ‘update’ for my mouse. I did it following the instructions and now my mouse does not work, either on 2.4 or cable connection. I think I’ll look at other companies.
I sucessfully installed iCue on Windows 7 SP1, and when I launch the iCue application, it barfs an error dialog "The procedure entry point UnregisterSuspendResuemNotification could not be located int eh dynamic link library USER32.dll." When I click the OK button, the dialog button goes away and nothing happens. Is something suppose to happen?
my icue looks nothing like this and I just downloaded it yesterday for my new PC and it will not work for individual things. It only pops up my h100i cooler and the 4 sticks of ram, I go to change the ram to something and switch to the cooler and it defaults to something else. The fans are a whole other story.
I have h115i with commander pro for the fans and everytime i turn off or restart my pc it will set to default rainbow rgb but if I open the icue app it will turn back to my preferred rgb help pls
If your RGB fan is blinking red that's because it's some malfunction or pump failure. I disassembled my fan, flipped it over so the pump lines are on the Bottom of the side fans, and when I turned it back on it was working fine and in color. Hope this helps someone
You guys really need to push the fact that you can control NON-Corsair products with this software, you mentioned it way too briefly in this video which is crazy to me seeing as pushing it harder will net you so many more customers. I have both a Strix MoBo and GPU, now thanks to iCue they all sync perfectly with my Corsair ram. I have it on a nice pulsing white which matches my white build brilliantly. If iCue continues to excel then I will more than likely buy more Corsair products in the future. RGB control in PC's is a huge mess at the moment and if you guys can be the one to tie it ALL together, well, people are going to remember that. Simplify a persons life and they'll come back to you every time.

Can you make it so that each fan is a different color? Like if I wanted solid white, blue, red, and yellow each on a different fan Everything on these seems to have them all doing the same function
2:03 hello, i saved my settings on the k70 low profile in the internal memory. But every time icue closes, it is rgb lighting off. Unfortunately it was not true before where you could save profiles directly in the memory. Especially with other devices, it's a shame. (Tablet, friend pc, more ...)
I just want to turn it all off. I'm tired of rainbow pvke defaults on everything, it's giving me a headache. And I have no idea what is going on in the software. I click a Mural and it changes the pattern on the RAM, but not the FANS or water block.
I have Corsair lighting in my pc, as well as having a new mouse and keyboard that I recently bought so I can match them using this software. Unfortunately, the keyboard I'm using doesn't seem to be detected by the iCUE software, so I'm not able to custom light any of the effects. everything else from Corsair I have is showing up fine in iCUE, but I can't seem to figure out a way to get the keyboard to appear. The keyboard is a K70 RGB TKL. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas???
Question is when will Corsair address the massive power battery drain iCUE is causing Lenovo Legion laptops? People had to uninstall the damn thing as it eats up a percent a minute.
can anyone by chance give any advice as to why the pump head on my H150i isnt syncing up with the rest of my RGB. I cant find it in ICUE. only play that looks like i could see it is with the Vengeance Ram sticks. Been wondering if you could even sync it
Be careful of the corsair updates. very very very careful. I would advise anyone to figure out how to backup your settings before you download any updates. :(

Great custom ability. So many options to manage and save an d then you are able to switch between. Dashboards are also cool. Great software.

Final tip: Use revo uninstaller to remove iCue due to the ridiculous amount of CPU usage and bugs.

Stacking lighting is the thing that sets iCue apart. Putting key press and viser over top of another lighting style is dope

So I just installed my corsair ll120 fans today and tip #6 doesn't work for me im not sure what I'm doing wrong
