I'm new to Corsair RGB RAM and I dont even know why I would want murals. I just want to apply custom colors to my memory sticks and there are really, too many options. I don't care about anything else. I am using version 5 iCUE
This is what I want to know. I just had my light fading from blue to purple. Now I have no way to do that other than finding or creating a video get the same effect.
I was not happy to get prompted for an update then find out that my previous scene configuration was removed and now have a whole new UI to work with today. You guys should have left everything intact and added the new features to a separate tab. I can’t figure out how to get the same setup that I had before. It’s pretty annoying and the stock “murals” kind of suck.
I think what turns me off from it is that it's not as customizable and the defaults are either obnoxiously fast or the colors are muddy and gross. The "rainbow" option looks like various shades of off-white.

Got rid of the old effects like Rainbow Wave that I used to default to. Now no were to be seen. And no way to get them back without uninstalling the "new improved" version and reinstalling the old version. Not an upgrade to me at all. Also, as people have stated, no longer able to use it on my Asus motherboard. Just how is all this an "improvement"?

How do I make a light gradient that moves from one color into another continuously? I was able to make a static color gradient, but can't figure out how to make the colors actually shift, The mouse just stays one color based on one small square of the gradient.
I don't get it exactly. When I move pic in the window and zooming, colors changing. So dependse how big and what is in the centre that will be playing in colors? I'm right? How to change intensity? all colors really not strong, watered I can say. Tom

*_Hello, after I updated my ICUE to the latest version, the sensors are no longer displayed and the panel does not load. In the previous version it displayed the temperature of my motherboard, GPU and other non-Corsair hardware_* 🤔
Can someone please help me. I don't see anything like the photos you show for iCUE software. I have the June 26th Winodws version installed (the latest) yet I see nothing like those photos. I just see the Sensors section with a bunch of Temp measurements and I can see the dashboard which is also just a bunch of temp measurements. I don't see murals, Gaming, or any of the stuff on the right of the photo above. I have a Lenovo Legion 7i Pro (Gen 9) and I downloaded iCUE thinking it can allow for custom keyboard lighting and other rgaming-related stuff but am unable to get anything at all from this software. HELP!!!
Murals doesn't work with Lenovo Legion 7 (2021), does not recognize it as the previous function (global illumination for all device) . please consider it !!
I used to have the colours linked to my GPU Temp. That’s now not possible because murals are trash. Why would they remove the only practical function of the RGB case. It’s mental.

While it’s great to see a signal RGB competitor….. what’s so special about signal rgb is that it’s compatible with EVERYTHING! Doesn’t matter day it’s night if your gear isn’t all corsair, razer, Msi ECT.

just use Signal RGB, obviously where they modeled this from. Signal is amazing and after getting past the first setup, it's perfect. Recognizes all my Asus stuff too
Yeah, all hose devices...a ren't showing up in iCUE. The only thing that is showing up is my Dominator RAM My Commander COre, Commander XT, and the 6 Cappelix Fans aren't showing up The onlyt hing I can change is the ram, everything else is stuck on rainbow pvke.
So, I played with this tonight. On individual profiles for apps, I attempted to move devices on the audio lighting effect for individual colors to be represented in individual apps, but if you move the items in the profile, it moves them in all profiles, is there anyway to lock the locations in individual profiles?
this was always my biggest frustration with the lighting options, the coordination of all my iCue devices. The Advanced Mural option finally solves that!
Guys i found a way to get your old presets back…i still think that corsair should bring back stuff from the old version but here is a way to fix it for now: from your „Home“ screen, click on your device/s (you have to do each one individually). On the motherboard you have to go on „lighting effects“ and click on the big yellow plus…from there you can select the effect you want (for example rainbow wave). Make sure you equip that setting and if it doesn’t work you might have to delete the other lighting settings you have in there…also for it to work, you have to turn off any selected mural!!!….and there you go ;-)…just know that every device may have different settings…example: for my mother board and other stuff i have to go on „lighting effects“ but for my fan node core i have to go on „lighting channel 1“…for my pump i have to go on „lighting effects“ and then go on „pump“…….i know it‘s quite a lot to read but i hope it helps
First of all im happy with my k70 pro mini. but have someone can tell me how i contral Murals without connect cable with keyboard with cable to keyboard is good to go but wireless mode just cannot contral Mural on keyboard txs
figured it out. so when the k65 plus wireless is in wireless mode, icue wont wont recognize it in murals. i can do basic color effects and a custom 1 color point. in order to to do a custom mural on this keyboard, you have to have the keyboard plugged in and in power mode. now murals will see the device. Lame

@@civsully1740 Well, since the lights are intended to... well... light up, there's no real "off" button. You can save "Hardware Lighting" effects for most iCUE devices though, if you want lights to be off when the iCUE application isn't running.
@@ImLunaUwU True Dat! Just the way my setup is that in my very well it room the natural light washes out the lights a fair bit. So figured why not just "turn them off" during the day when I get max natural light and save some power. As I'M new to this software I need to really get into it to learn how to set the lighting up to run the way I'd like them to. adding your own mural effect doesn't work smoothly. it adds a black frame in-between loops, causing all lights to turn off for a second, it makes all the effect look choppy 😪
I wish you could delete all of the Murals from the Home screen of iCue. No point wasting space on the iCue Home screen for something I'd never use or want.

Yeah, I had my lights just the way I wanted them and then boom, new UI and old settings removed. Not a very user friendly update.

How to save device positions in that murals window? At every pc-start they reset and need to be arranged anew and that really sucks.

I had issues with mine detecting my GPU on both of my machines also and having to set the RGB and cooling separately from clicking Scene's
