Yep! I have found several with dates on them from the early 60s. It seems like I can't even find a car anymore that was made anywhere else! Thanks for checking out the video JD!
Thank you! You knew it was a caribou! Its great to see someone enjoying the hobby like people used to - enjoying every new date and every new MM. Slabbing has hurt the hobby by switching attention so much to key dates that people see collections nowadays as just a few keys and the rest as being junk or filler. People lose the fun of understanding each year/MM has its own unique place in history.
I agree! Everyone has their own way of collecting and this is mine. It sounds like you and I see it in a pretty similar way. Thanks for watching and happy hunting!
I'm sure that the coin is related to the knife. When you receive a knife you give a coin so you don't cut the friendship. So I wonder how it got there together and why? So cool to think about.....thanks for sharing!
I went detecting out with my dad on Thursday we were out there for like 30 minutes and got some coins in the volleyball sand pit I had a lot of fun there
Thanks! Not as far as I had hoped (and I'm sure some others were hoping as well) but progress is being made. A few more episode and the first season will be all wrapped up. I am already coming up with ideas for improving season 2!
I really enjoy watching your progress in the ultimate coin hunt! Been waiting for you to post a new one! That Canadian is awesome...time to order a new album! LOL Great wheatie coins too!
I do hunt in zero disc, but don't dig everything. I only get to get out and hunt for about 3 hours a week, so usually end up picking coins. If I had more time, I would!
You make me want to go in my alley and metal detect lol so many people have dropped coins in that alley, once I pulled out like 4 bucks in change, pretty wild. Edit: I've found english coins in the alley too. Oldest one was 1950 which isn't badddd
Still have to get used to it. Hoping to join a metal detecting club so I can find more places to detect and get some tips from more experienced people.
Pocket Knife reminds me of one I had in Cub Scouts, there's a similar one on eBAY right now. Search eBAY with, "Camillus Cub Scout Vintage Pocket Knife."
From wat I could find the coin is called: the great seal of the united states and wikipedia said this: First used in 1782, the seal is used to authenticate certain documents issued by the federal goverment of the United States
A lot of those cars made in HK are from the mid 60's into the 70's. They're definitely fun to find!
No way your here to!

I just read about your grandfather on your community tab. So sorry for your loss brother! That is so cool that he sent you all those coins. RIP
Thank you for the message, I appreciate it. I am glad that you have been enjoying the series as well!
I suggest hunting in the zero disc mode. Dig any repeatable signal otherwise you’re missing gold!
