    I've 2x boys & we get away camping a bit.. they LOVE our Jeep - they have their toy trucks, i have the real toy. It's the most fun & capable vehicle bar none..
    You buy a Lamborghini for outrageous speed, Maybach for outrageous luxury & Jeep for outrageous offroard ability - only one of these is reasonably priced.

    Nice truck. As a passing point by the time I pay for road tax on my diesel HiLux here in NZ there is little difference between the cost of running that and from what I gather the Jeep.

    I'm seventy-five. I still enjoy driving off road every chance I get in our Wrangler unlimited Rubicon. Am anxious to add a Gladiator Rubicon to our stable when one of the dealerships in Hawaii offers one at a reasonable discount off MSRP (rather than a $6,500 to $8,500 addition to the MSRP). The 2024 Gladiators and Wrangler will have side air bags. Nice review! Andy McKane, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii.

    I guess you guys don't get the Mojave version of the Gladiator in Australia? I wish in the US they offered something besides the overwhelmed 3.6L V6 in the Gladiator. The Wrangler gets the 3.6L V6, a 2.0L Turbo 4, a hybrid version (4xe) and even the magnificent 6.4L Hemi V8. The left foot issue is the same on our left-hand drive Wranglers/Gladiators. There is no dead pedal foot rest.

    Samantha and David had been planning their European road trip for months. They had bought a brand new Chevrolet Z06, their dream car, and were eager to hit the open road. The couple had mapped out a route that would take them through the most picturesque towns and cities in Europe. But what they didn't anticipate was that their journey would be filled with unexpected adventures.
    It all started on the first day of their trip. They were driving through the French countryside when the fuel gauge on their car suddenly broke. They were stranded on the side of the road for hours, waiting for a tow truck to arrive. While they waited, they decided to watch the latest car news on TH-cam to pass the time.
    After finally getting their car fixed, they continued on their journey, excited for the adventures ahead. But they soon realized that their fuel gauge wasn't the only thing that was going to cause them trouble. Over the next few days, they found themselves stranded on the side of the road not once, not twice, but six times!
    Each time they were stranded, they had to wait for hours for a tow truck to arrive. But despite the setbacks, Samantha and David refused to let their spirits be dampened. They used their time stranded on the side of the road to explore the surrounding areas, discovering hidden gems they might not have found otherwise.
    From exploring quaint villages in Italy to hiking through the Swiss Alps, Samantha and David made the most of every moment of their trip. And every time they got stranded, they found a new adventure waiting for them.
    Finally, after their sixth breakdown, they arrived at their final destination: the German Autobahn. They hit the gas and raced down the highway, their Chevrolet Z06 purring beneath them. As they sped along at top speed, they couldn't help but feel grateful for every adventure, every setback, and every moment of their trip. They had truly experienced the best of Europe, and it was all thanks to their broken fuel gauge.

    Off road capability isn't much help when US vehicles generally and Jeep in particular don't have the reliability you need for those conditions.

    • @TheBuntajames
      @TheBuntajames ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The Wrangler is a reliable car. It's petrol engine is bomb proof the gear box and diffs are super strong. The SUV jeeps are rubbished mainly because of the electronics, but this is where the Wranglers simplicity shines. The worst Jeeps you can buy for reliability are the diesels. But that's the same for all makes these days
      3 years of off roading and a cape trip and still not a rattle or squeak. We love our Wrangler Rubicon.

    “This is the only trail rated ute on the market.” Oh, careful all you Hilux and Ranger owners, your vehicles are not ‘trail rated’ so you can’t drive on 4X4 trails! Silly comment, clearly ‘trail rated’ is not a real or universal rating. It means nothing. Trail rated is just the badge that Jeep put on their most off road focused vehicles.

    • @TheBuntajames
      @TheBuntajames ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Actually, it means it's capable of completing the Rubicon trail.

    • @tbduggan85
      @tbduggan85 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TheBuntajames Yes, I know it is referring to the Rubicon Trail. But it’s still silly to mention that it or ‘trail rated’ in the review as it implies the other utes don’t meet the same credentials, even though it isn’t a proper rating system that applies to all four wheel drives. It’s just a marketing thing by Jeep. It’s the only trail rated ute on the market because no other brand uses Jeep’s trail rating. And ultimately it doesn’t stand for much - my wife’s Jeep Renegade Trailhawk has the ‘trail rated’ badge yet can’t go on half the tracks my 4X4 can do, it’s a soft off roader at best. It came with highway tyres, ground clearance is average, articulation is terrible, it has no proper low range gearing and it does not have a rear locking differential. It’s a city car suited for gravel roads. The badge means nothing.
