This is what I have been feeling in spirit. And this video confirms it. Same thing as tithing. I don’t give 10% to the church. Instead I use 10% of my income to buy food, jackets, tents, etc. for people in struggle!!!!
Correct. Christians are not commanded by God to give 10% of their income to their local church. That is a false interpretation of Scripture. You should give to charity if you want to, and you should pay your taxes, but that is the extent of your obligations.
First find the true church that will teach you the truth of Gods word, a church that teaches the plan of salivation and baptizes believers in the name above all names and you will see how excited you will get to give your tithes and offerings...
The Lord calls the tradition of man an abomination: abortion, divorce, fornication(same sex marriage) pride, paganism; man made holidays like Holloween. Which glorify people of the world and him in the world(Devil). In the beginning God made man and woman and what God put together no man can separate. Ask God for wisdom on this matter. Truth is God is in control.

Probably the most clear, concise, to the point, and above all, scripturally accurate video of how the God finds the marriage process to be accomplished. Thanks for the video!
When we speak of God putting people together it doesn't say RING or certificate... but God put it together, he ordained it and you entered into a covenant with God.
Jacob and Leah were married by action, not even by covenant. One could argue the same of Adam and Eve, or Abraham and Sara. Genesis very clearly states that the man shall cleave into his wife and the two shall become one flesh. Standing before a pastor doesn’t make you married anymore than standing before a magistrate. God clearly says that becoming one flesh, or laying with a woman constitutes marriage. This should make us all the more careful on saving ourselves for the right person. But we should also stop putting these things on couples that are not biblical. There’s not a single marriage ceremony anywhere in the Bible. Yet, there are countless examples of married couples. What defined those marriages? Sharing their tent or laying with.
John 2:1: “And on the third day a MARRIAGE FEAST took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.” Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into wine at this wedding. When an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream telling him to take Mary home as a wife, he awoke and without delay, did as the angel directed him and brought Mary to his home. This public action served as a marriage ceremony, giving notice to all that Joseph and Mary were now a married couple!
I'd also like to point out the lady Jesus spoke to and he said where is your husband and she said so never got married, and he straight up said what you never commited to any of the 5 men whom you was with. Hence what is marriage? I'd wager it is joining of two bodies, but if you do it while already commited you are committing adultery, if you do it without intent to commit to each other you are committing fornication, if you do it with intent to commit to each other and with god's convenient then you are married. That's my interpretation of the Bible passages.
@@sunnyjohnson992 the MARRIAGE FEAST being celebrated was after the the “ceremony”. The ceremony of the day was consummation. Again, there is not a single instance of a couple standing before a priest or rabbi and having a ceremony and that constituting a “marriage”. What does Christ say about laying with women? He says that you have made them your wives. As for Joseph and Mary, that seems to be one exception and certainly not the rule. There are far more examples of a man and woman doing one thing (having sex) and being considered married, in the eyes of God vs bringing Mary into the home and being married based on that.
I totally agree with you. God states marriage means becoming one flesh, because whether a man and a woman commit or not before God when they unite in flesh, the union and melting of bodies, fluids, and energies, occurs anyway, and this always brings consequences, whether the two are aware of that or not. If a union is promiscuous, meaning it is not born out of Love, then sickness and suffering will be the result of that union. Even if it's just one night spent with a stranger, it will have consequences to repair. But a Holy Marriage is the one which occurs before God. And what does "before God" mean? It doesn't mean in the presence of a pastor, and it does not mean reciting a vow or an oath, because Eternal Love doesn't spring out of a promise, which is out of sense of duty, but only and solely out of the natural need of being with one another, helping one another, sacrificing for one another, rejoicing for one another. Just like a mother doesn't promise her baby she will love it all her life, as the bond is so strong that this actually is supposed to occur naturally, so it should be between lovers: you should only unite in flesh to the one you feel you are united in soul and you feel you want to honour and serve all your life long. You can ask God for blessing your wish of loving your beloved eternally the way he or she deserves to, the very way Jesus Christ loves His Church, but you can't promise you'll manage to feel like that all your life. If a union really stems from God and occurs out of Divine Love, its eternity will be a natural fact. If it is not, the marriage may come to an end and even the break up in this case is not something the state or any church should define. It is the presence or absence of Love to determine it. If two people are in love no more and they unite no more, they are no more spouses in the eyes of God. Alas, this is not something occurring without grave consequences, as stated before. But again, if the two have been sent to one another by God and they put their relationship to God before the lover for each other, then the marriage is simply bound to be eternal, because God will let them overcome all storms, all obstacles, all hardships. To all those waiting for True Love, or living a hard time with their True Love, or being together and carrying out God's missions in this world, may God bless you.
So therefore fornication is not what we think it is. Cause a lot of people say you're not married so you're in fornication and by that they mean, you need to sign papers so show youre married, but if you and your spouse vow before God and make that covenant, you're no longer single but married and therefore you're not fornicating.
Absolutely not. As Christians, we're told to obey the laws of the government (as long as it's not sin against God by doing so). That means, we have to do what the law in our country requires to become married. Only then, we're also married in the eyes of God. Of course this will also include vows before God, but without the legal status, it's not a marriage.

God called me in April 2020 and I accepted Jesus into my life and I keep wondering and worrying if I am now truly married as there was no witnesses their or a pastor or anything. If two peple declare they want to be married and agree they are now married in the presence of God why would this not be acceptable?
The catholic church began conducting marriages in the 1600s. It was a family matter before that, agreement between 2 families. No signing, maybe a party although some bible verses dont include a party. Read leviticus 18 for sexually immoral acts and and Deut 28-29 for laws regarding betrothed and unbetrothed women. Find in Genesis what the union of man and woman was meant to be (companionship). Is the bible the word of God or not? Or is it church tradition which changes and shifts over time
Do you have a further explanation or sources for this? I looked it up and it says they only considered it canon in 1547. A friend is clinging to Catholicism because he doesn't know how else he can get married so I would be very interested in hearing from you. Can you also provide some sources for marriage changing from just being between 2 families to being a church institution? Thanks.
@@jakebarnes3054 no, only verde they use is Roman’s 7:2 which waist even talking about marriage to begin with, but Paul was talking about Jewish marriage under law of mosses
So technically there is nowhere in the Bible that says you to have to get married by a pastor, or in a church? I can’t think of any Bible verses that says so. So then a man and woman can just make a covenant of marriage with God and themselves. Otherwise I fear we may be relying on tradition and the law of men rather then God.
So if marriage is just sex then why must man have a divorce certificate (Matthew 5:31-55) to get divorced? To me that would mean that marriage also is supposed to be contractual and drawn up through paperwork. Not just sex. Can you clarify this? God also said that we must follow the laws of the land which is why there is appointed authority to govern us. 1Peter 2:17 & Romans 13:1-7. Having intercourse before the actual ceremony is considered fornication & distinguishes a wife from a concubine. Not being married legally is rebellion against God. Sex is not marriage. Sex is what is supposed to seal the deal for marriage after the ceremony.

time stamp 1:40 we filled out the necessary paperwork to register with the State. If God is the one who establishes marriage and it is good to have witnesses that also sees God handiwork to bring two people together. But then why would anyone get a false witness to approve the marriage? The false witness being the State, for the State says there is no God.
See this is why it is important to let God Be True in every man a liar if you want to talk about Isaac and Rebecca Isaac's wife Rebecca was given a dowry which meant today are not doing and according to the Hebrew custom it was still recorded that they were married
OK, I have a few questions, if you are capable of answering them. First, concerning Isaac and Rebekah, since you seem to know they made one, what commitment did they make to each other? Where does Scripture mention any commitment made between them? Rebekah was purchased for Isaac! What would have happened to her if Isaac had not wanted her? Second, if your so-called covenant commitments make a marriage before God, then how did Rachel and Leah become Jacob's wives? Scripture declares no such covenant between either, other than a covenant of purchase between Jacob and Laban for Rachel, twice. Yet, however, nothing at all was agreed to or covenanted for Leah? How was that sanctioned by God to where she became his wife? Thirdly, please, I beg you, show me in Scripture any such covenant illustrated or alluded to that was made between a male and female for marriage? What covenant of your so-called vows existed in the Bible?
I agree 100 % with you. one question. IF IF IF the marriage doesn't work out because of infidelity, how would I help people get a divorce if there was no other way to resolve the conflict? Please help me understand how to answer someone with this question.

They commit adulty... fornication is a act that un married people do. So why did jesus say if a married person finds out their spouse has committed fornation they could divorce? Because Jesus was quoting the old testament law in deu... It tells us that if a man and women get married and the husband was under the impression that his wife was a Virgin and then gets married to her and has sex with her on their weeding night and the husband finds out that she wasn't a Virgin that she had fornicated then he could leave her and that marriage wasn't valid.. the new Bible out their change Matthew 5 . As a pastor..no. It is not parents prerogative to dictate a choice of a spouse. It was a custom in some cultures and times. If it was their decision the word of God would say it clearly. It does not come close to saying that. Who ypu spend your life with is up to you. You have to honor that covenant long after they are dead. They will not have to share a bed with your spouse . You will. Plain common sense.

I have a question... What if a couple, regardless if they got married in court or church, failed to comply the necessary requirement to prove they've been married, then the gov't/state deemed the marriage invalid, in our faith though, is it still valid or not? For what I know, (exegetically) regardless if it is invalid or not in the sight of man, marriage is of God. Based on my experience in the Christian faith... There are couple of issues I have witnessed such as 1. A couple was married by a pastor who has expired license 2. another case is a guy was married (I think it was a civil marriage), failed to comply the requirements, since gov't says it is invalid, he remarried to another woman and the second time, it was a church wedding with all the necessarry requirements. (The first couple stayed with each other however they got into complex situations and issues such as having affair, etc. Now the second one, is it justifiable?) Please help me get a full grasp and understanding on this issue.
Why do you need government to say your marriage is valid? Sounds like you are brainwashed, and I mean no offense by that. If you enter into an agreement with your wife and agree to be husband/wife, that’s it. Rings were never even involved. You can have a ceremony, witnesses, that’s all up to you as the leader of your household(husband). Also, nowhere in the Bible does it say you need someone ordained by the state with a valid license to make the marriage official. I’m not going to lie I’m laughing in real life over this. God bless you brother.

@@OliVer-gm9cl Oli Ver, I totally apologize, you are right it was uncalled for and I did not take into consideration you being a new believer, and even so my reply could have been softer. I just have a real sore spot for people concerned about law potentially over God’s Law and expectations. What I said was true, biblically speaking. From a biblical perspective, marriage is when you make an agreement to take each other as spouses, agree to it, and have sexual intercourse with one another(2 becoming one flesh). The idea of rings and all these other traditions, you will not find in the Bible. Yes there may have been a feast at times. But the idea of rings themselves is cultural and actually comes from pagan culture, that at some point or another Christian’s took on. For example in Greece, rings were often embedded with the “god of love” Eros. Later, Rome also practiced the idea of rings as a symbol of love. From what I can find, Christians began using wedding rings around the 9th century. What matters most is your commitment to your wife and vice versa. Nowhere will you find that because someone was given authority by the state/country to recognize marriage, that was the only time marriage counted. If you want to get married for the benefits(arguable if you are a male) from the state, by all means. But God judges the heart, not whether a person granted powers by the state had his license expired at the time. I can send some biblical examples but it will range from having sex(becoming one flesh) to a covenant between man and wife then having sex. If you’d like me to back it up with scripture and don’t have good references, let me know. Again I recognize I was harsh.
the government doesn't have a say on if your marriage is valid or not if you are all ready marred biblically no man can make it invalid Jesus says that when he says what god has put together let no man put apart so if you have all ready consummated your marriage the government can not tare that apart and invalidate it

1. No 2. All of them if they are real. God will hold us to any vow we make to Him. 3. No, you can say that to a hundred girls but that doesn't make you married. Some argue that you are linked to every person you have sex with.... the soul tie theory. I don't fully understand it, but I believe there is enough science and statistics to back it up. Did Adam and Eve say vows and get a marriage license or did they start having sex? Sex is spiritual and holy within marriage. Marriage was created by God as we both know. The confusion comes in with man trying to define and regulate something God instituted and controls. Jewish engagement was customary to Israel rather than a Biblical requirement. Jewish engagement was a binding covenant that required a written "divorce" to show the contract was dissolved. A vow is only to God and God alone and can be broken but not dissolved, so wedding vows are literally til death do you part. A marriage covenant between you and your spouse is not a vow. American State marriage license is a legal contract and has three parties: 2 spouses and the STATE (God is excluded) The state defines it and doesn't care what gender the two spouses are. And the contract can be dissolved and you can get remarried as many times as you want. The STATE doesn't care as long as you pay the bill. Biblical marriage has three parties: one man, one woman, and God (The STATE is excluded) God defines it. It's for life, and God calls remarriage sinful (adultery) if two Christians get "divorced". God intends for them to get back together and stay together til one of the dies... naturally (LOL) People will try to justify their sin which is why so many people try to Biblically justify divorce. The Bible cleary says God hates divorce. (drop the mic) But that is not good enough for someone who doesn't want to submit to God. God never intended for divorce and there is no Jewish record of divorce or divorce instruction for 2500 years prior to Moses. It doesn't mean it didn't happen... I just think it's worth noting God didn't officially sancton divorce. The symbolic picture of marriage reflects God's faithfulness to us no matter how unfaithful we are. See the example in Hosea. It is only because of our selfish pride that we completely mess up the Heavenly symbology with "divorce". It is not God's will and an embarrassment to God for Christians to get divorced. I don't believe there are any formulas of words that make a marriage vow. Most young couples understanding of marriage is shallow concerning the spiritual and legal aspects. Young couples know the basics... live together, sleep together, and try to work everything out the best you can. Worldview and theology makes all the difference in the world concerning commitment level and conflict resolution. People can sin and not notice consequences for a long time and just because someone can do something as in "get a divorce" that does not mean God approves and that there won't be consequences. Some people don't recognize the consequences of their sin, but that doesn't mean the consequences aren't there or won't show up later.

I love how he doesn't talk about the implications of the fact that the act of sex itself ratifies the marriage in the eyes of God. This has HUGE implications, but the American Christians aren't ready to deal with those yet.
No it doesn’t, it becomes fornication. Read Genesis 2:23-25 KJV and look up what Cleave means from old English. Fornication is the opposite of Cleave, it’s for self-desire.
@@niswr7319 Brother, I am not talking about the crappy English translation. I'm talking about Hebrew culture in the ancient Middle East. In that time, a couple having sex meant that they were married, at least most of the time. The sex act itself officialized the wedding.
@@selohcin The funny thing is…there were no laws during Adam and Eve’s time, so the Hebrew culture regarding to what God considers a marriage is irrelevant to what God initially set as the standard of a marriage. What differentiates between a marriage between 2 and a sexual occasion for fornicators…is the emotional aspect. 2 people are doing it in a mutual loving manner and the fornicators are doing it for pleasure and to devalue what God created for marriages. If you would’ve looked at what cleaves meant you’d realize this. Lastly, your argument that the English translation of the KJV is crappy, just shows your low understanding & your ignorance because the translations to Hebrew, Aramaic, & Greek, to the English are all as close as you can get. Bilingual speakers have known this for hundreds of years. Your misunderstanding has failed you. God Bless.
@@niswr7319 Wow. Everything you just said is incorrect. First, you are very naive if you think that all boyfriend/girlfriend couples have sex purely for pleasure. Many of them deeply love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. Second, while the KJV was an excellent translation for its time, newer translations have access to information that scholars of that day did not, and many more knowledgeable experts are able to cross-review work published by others and so corrections get made much more quickly than they did in previous centuries.

What does that have to do with how God defines marriage. So man is the one who defines marriage or says who is married and who is not because they have paperwork? This is foolish
@@Noway568 You are now mixing the God kinda marriage and the State kinda marriage brother. Yes ceremonies for marriages were done as time passed on but NB a ceremony is not marriage. i think of it as more of a celebration of an already established union. Go back to the foundation which is our ancestor Adam & Eve. Its really as simple as that. Marriage is spiritual and does not involve the state in any way.
There should of been steps because it could lead to Allot of confusion like for example my situation I had a girlfriend I proposed to and we were engaged but later on we would send text about vow stuff like would you take me in sickness and in health sort of stuff but as far as a wedding ceremony and no we never got to that I did give her an engagement ring but I don't even think the ring is biblical all I know is that if someone was to ask her if she was married to me she would definitely say no as would I but now I have no idea I've heard that I'm not and from the church one of the elders said I needed counseling idk where I stand 100% with God on this I separated from her a long while ago so it's a real life or death situation for me at this point. I'm sure how to help with your situation, brother. I don't know enough about marriage from a biblical perspective, but I would strongly advise you to seek some help and counseling from mature brothers in Christ, perhaps from some of the elders in your church.

You can have more than one but it's polygamy (sin) but technically still married to multiple woman in god's eyes. There was a king who had 1500 wives as he gave up god to chase woman only to realising when he was old that he messed up king David was it sorry can't remember, also one of Adams direct descendants was the first to have polygamy relationship his wife feared she wouldn't be able to give birth for him, so she got him to bed the servant whom gave him a child, as he himself doubted god's words that god will bless his wife and him with a kid but she was getting on in age so he gave in and slept and married the servant, only realising later god didn't lie when his first wife fell pregnant in advanced years, hence polygamy was cemented into the culture by him and later even a prophet Muhammad indulged and made polygamy normal in Muslim society.
So Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden of Eden which everything they wanted were provided for them as a parent would do for their child I think the author was recognizing the garden of Eden as God's house so when Adam and Eve recognize their union through eating of the tree of knowledge they were cast out of their father's house and was commanded to go forth and multiply as a son or daughter would leave after marriage to form a more perfect union meaning one king of a castle so to speak this explanation does not extinguish any of God's glory and power just a 21st explanation of what the author meant
I'm confused about this. I've been married before my husband now. My sons father, who I was not married to, but made vows to eachother, and My 1st legal husband and I divorced because he left me for another woman. I did not understand the Bible as I do now. So are my husband and I supposed separate and divorce because my husband and I have God in the center, or am I fooling myself. My husband has been married before, to 2 adulterers. Grace to you Jesus made it clear that in the beginning marriage was created for life but later in history divorce was conceded because of hardness of heart (Matthew 19:8). In God's Word divorce is an actual event that ends a marriage as revealed in the law of Deuteronomy 24:1-4. That same law also reveals that the next marriage constituted a marriage were the woman was then bound to her present husband. While divorce is not ideal and marriage for life is, you must understand your situation with divorce and remarriage being actual events that changed your marital status. Blessings
To be clear, one flesh means you lay with the women or have sex you become one flesh and bound to protect each other. Not this false paper or church marriage. But we don't honor God, so we are like animals in heat.
"Subsequent certificate from the government" boom, you just naturalized your holy marrigae before the state. You took what was holy and contracted it with uncle sam.
You said that marriage is a “pre-political” institution. What is that supposed to mean? If it is a God ordained institution, then it is completely a God ordained institution and nothing “pre” about it! And if it is a God ordained institution, where do you find in Scripture that God only will join you if you go before your church and pastor and say fabricated ritualistic vows? And where does the Pastor have or receive the authority to decree anyone husband and wife? Also, if no legal documents are needed, then why does the church consider a male and female to be committing fornication if they make a so-called covenant and commitment, before God, and then live together and not have the state document? Christendom is so screwed up in their understanding of Biblical marriage and you are not helping at all. In addition to all of this, you quoted Gen. 2, where Adam said, “a man shall leave father and mother and shall cleave to his wife.” And yet you use Isaac and Rebekah as your example, which Isaac didn't leave, but it was Rebekah who left her parents? Now, either Scripture is contradicting and errant or you have no real understanding of what Adam meant in his declaration? Which is it?
Sex makes people married. Sex is always in front of god since he is omniscient so it is done before god. No other action determines whether or not two people are joined in one flesh
@@JudeKnowsWhatYouDoNot Hey Jude! If this is true, why does Christendom not subscribe to this concept? They say that your statement is not valid unless covenants, vows, witnesses, etc. are exercised beforehand. Without them, they say you are living in fornication. Also, does this happen with everyone a person has sex with? How do you know your statement to be true?
@@mbgodwebsite5272 Christendom is following the Roman version of marriage whereby the church/government is the one that validates or denies marriages. All their restrictions are not needed to validate a marriage. Marriage existed before Christianity existed. No this does not happen with everyone someone has sex with. It happens with the first person someone has sex with…everyone after that is adultery if the first person is still alive and the marriage was not defiled. In other words, if the first person was faithful to you, then it is adultery to go for someone else. I know this to be true because of the example of Jacob and Leah. Jacob had no intention of marrying Leah, there were no witnesses, no ceremony, no contract for Leah, nothing that the church or modern Christianity claims validates a marriage. He was only tricked into having sex with her and with that action, even though they all knew it was because of deception, was enough to render him married to her. Sex is a sacred act that joins two people in marriage.

So many assumptions, where to start, marriage is a man made custom, also Adam didn't say for this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, Moses inputs this statement, Adam couldn't have possibly said this just after Eve comes on the scene because there were no fathers and mothers or sons or daughters, it's possible Adam could have said this sometime in the future yet where is that woman going to come from that the son leaves his father and mother for, Cain and Abel had not even been born yet, people that are given to customs and traditions especially the ones that pertain to a man and a woman joined together by God all depends on what they have been taught, in the beginning when there was no law, nature is what ruled, it's an assumption that the man will leave his mother and father to get married, by nature the man leaves his mother and father, not to build a house nor seek someone's approval as to whether he can so call cleave to this woman, he leaves his father and mother to find this woman he is having this desire for, in the process of time these two become one flesh, to become means to make something appear, two bodies of flesh will become one body of flesh, that body is in a child, what God has joined together is what Jesus said, not who man has joined together nor did he say who's God's representative has joined together let no man separate or come between, God is LOVE and yes it's sexual love too, what God is NOT is adultery, incest, rape, animal sex, same sex or whoredom spoken of by the prophets, whoredom doesn't mean having a lover, whoredom means having more than one lover, it applies to an unmarried woman and can be viewed as acting like a prostitute, a man and a woman with mutual love for each other and produce a child which is what God seeks are the two that shouldn't be separated for obvious reasons, even the people with this mind that comes from their bible I call the dictionary that say sex before marriage is a sin or fornication don't have a clue what fornication means, Jesus said except it be a case of fornication a man can't send his wife away, so which of the unlawful sexual acts are you going to make an excuse for sending her away, only ONE? no it's ANY of them, what a joke it would be for Jesus to say only a case of adultery, I can tell you now if a man came home from work and found his wife in bed with an animal or another woman or worse their own son, away she goes unless he's a freak, too many assumptions here to satisfy me

When we speak of God putting people together it doesn't say RING or certificate... but God put it together, he ordained it and you entered into a covenant with God.
The most logical thing ive heard lately as a life long Christian
Amen, sex is marriage and sex before marriage is impossible.

I’ll never register my marriage with the state. Because the states can dictate to what your should be by definition

John 2:1-11 talks about the wedding in Cana that Jesus attended. He turned water into wine as his first miracle.
Is it biblical for the parents to dictate who i marry? And to deny my choice of a spouse
So you are married in God his eyes when you leave your parent’s to go live with him or her?
100%. But there has to be a conscious agreement/covenant bwt the parties involved and Sex seals that. Just my thoughts. According to the bible though when two people sleep together spitually there are one. that may also mean even without intent u can be married.
No need to leave anything technically, Jacob was married with Leah by sex and still lived with his uncle

There is mention of a divorce certificate in the Bible. Surely that was a document too, right?

Now the second one, is it justifiable?)
Please help me get a full grasp and understanding on this issue.
Hi Oli - Feel free to call in to our weekly broadcast to ask your question. Greg would love to hear from you!
@@andrewvangils3112 Laugh all you want. Your wordings are unnecessary and uncalled for. This is a sincere question, I am new to the faith so I am asking with all sincerity and honesty.
And if you think you are all knowing, good for you. I don't need your toxic opinion, I don't need your arrogant advise.
I need exegetical advise and I can't see it coming from the likes of you.
Aside from that, God also institutionalized earthly governments, so I am trying to a ask reconciliation between His words and the latter.
@@OliVer-gm9cl Oli Ver,
I totally apologize, you are right it was uncalled for and I did not take into consideration you being a new believer, and even so my reply could have been softer.
Again I recognize I was harsh.
the government doesn't have a say on if your marriage is valid or not if you are all ready marred biblically no man can make it invalid Jesus says that when he says
what god has put together let no man put apart so if you have all ready consummated your marriage the government can not tare that apart and invalidate it

1. No
God intends for them to get back together and stay together til one of the dies... naturally (LOL)
People will try to justify their sin which is why so many people try to Biblically justify divorce.
If both parent and family are aware of a couple living together with out government involvement, is this my wife?
I'll still get married within the state but God is better than anything.
Before man leaves father and mother, God brought the woman/helpmeet to the man and therefore did the joining together and approved of the marriage. With Issac & Rebekah God approved. God appointed a wife for Issac. Then they united. Genesis 2:18, a wife or helpmeet is from the Lord and he brings her to the man.

@@niswr7319 Brother, I am not talking about the crappy English translation. I'm talking about Hebrew culture in the ancient Middle East. In that time, a couple having sex meant that they were married, at least most of the time. The sex act itself officialized the wedding.

Jesus made it clear that in the beginning marriage was created for life but later in history divorce was conceded because of hardness of heart (Matthew 19:8).
@@mbgodwebsite5272 do you perhaps still have any issues with what I said or do you agree?
@@JudeKnowsWhatYouDoNot I am not quite sure what you mean by "still have any issues with what you said?" I don't recall ever communicating with you before. I am just very interested in your assessment of or response to Christendom regarding my question to you. They definitely have issues with your theology. I am sure that if you declared this before in debating Biblical marriage, you have faced great backlash. I have!
