    3 years ago I asked the Lord if he was calling me to be single or marriage. He showed me a dream in which I saw the silhouette of a girl. Sometime later he used a girl I knew to prophecy to me about her hair color, skin tone, eye color and age. (She has a past of prophesying about similar traits in her friends babies before there born). When I wondered how long, 3 years would come to mind. A few months ago he showed me what should would like like out of nowhere as I layed down to sleep and she matched what the girl told me she would look like. Although, as I draw closer, I am very intimidated by the concept of marriage due to much divorce in my family and trusting someone. Please pray for me if you read this. I will come back and update this comment when i meet her if it is the Lord's will.

      Hi it is our lords will. I pray and asked God in Jesus’s name to bring me a living man. He sent me a wonderful man. We know each other for three months and he wants to marry me. This is ironic because he was also asking for a living caring woman. He sent me to him but he had to make his first move. He told me he was nervous, and afraid of rejection. God has a plan. Be patient for God will send you the right person. He knows you are the right one for your certain person. Who knows? It ma possibly be a friend of yours that God is sending your friend to do the setting you up with that special person. Remember, God works in mysterious ways. He talks to people through other people. Those are signs to not ignore. However, just keep in mind of the red flags in the other person. Just don’t worry, don’t doubt Gods work. Just be cautious because that person can change and God will send you another through that friend of yours if that’s what Jesus has planned for you. Remember through Jesus? ALL things are possible.

      Similar to you, I basically made a bet with God when it comes to having kids... I basically said “If you ever want me to have kids you need to send me a partner that’s worthy.” I’ve been dating someone that I want to marry for the past six months and he is open to having children someday. 🙂

      However, I don’t always find it wise to put a timeline on things... Or even physical attributes. The physical attributes should be used as a way for you to become aware of how you feel when you look at her. The feeling doesn’t get lost in translation, just about everything else does 🙏

      @Tyler Gibson Looking back now, I realize, any longing I had, HAD to be fulfilled by Jesus Christ first, for His Sake and also for mine, or else even a good thing would be ruined as an idol. Therefore, don't be stubborn as I was. Seek to have your longings filled by Christ before you seek something else you think will fill it. Even if it doesn't fully make sense how He can, keep seeking Him to fill your longings. I pray that really shortens your learning curve and saves you a lot of heart ache and when God sees we're ready, He may bring us more than we could ever hope for. Or may be by then, all we ever hope for is Him. God Bless you Tyler Gibson. His Grace is sufficient for you!

For instance insisting polygamy and LGBT marriage. Persisting through those temptations for 3 years has lead me to the woman I'm currently up right now praying for and asking guidance about from God if she is the one and all the signs are adding up. Great topic. Just to mention; the last one is the very complex and that's where many of us fail because we are humans with feelings. When feelings are hurt we can not hide it and our emotions will openly manifest that in the way we will relate till we receive healing. It's only by God's Grace we can be able to adhere to that - "Husbands to comletely represent Christ like relationship and wives to the His chruch" God bless..

    The people have lost much love in these latter days.Apostle Paul mentioned let every man have a wife,but how easy it was in his time,but not now. Its why he was shocked by his prophetic vision of these latter days,men are lovers of themselves.Also Jesus foresaw these days in matthew@ Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.' People are in fear.there is less trust,less love. Jesus will return soon.

      When i comment this I'm asuming your not married yet, First thing to know marrige is the plan of God our Creator, and your mind body and spirit needs to be prepared for it,
      To find the best one
      Know what you need and ask for it(pray about it) and wait for Gods guidance, first criteria should be " the fear and respect for Jesus our creator God"
      * prepare to love with out expectations, because if the women is a Godly women she will definitely love and respect you back with out any pressure,
      ** as a husband know what your responsibilities are and be prepared to be it, work only on those responsibilities that the bible expects from you not her,when you do your wife love and submission will be with joy not by force,your actions leads her to an awesome relationship, children are a blessing from God they should follow,you are the head for your family and you are responsible to lead and guid them in the ways of God, so that they will end up loving God and serving him,your futer wife is your helper,both parts won't succeed with out each other.
      Best kept secret is :- pray for every needs in every area of your life
      God loves to hear us say what we really want, need and desire and why,even if he knows it
      Knock until it happens never give up. Luke 18.

    What does the Bible say marriage is? Anytime you read any passage about marriage in the Bible, what does it say? Does it not say that to become married you must become one? And to become one does it not say you must have sex? Does it say anywhere that you have to have a ceremony? Or does it say anywhere that you have to sign a legal contract? No! The only thing that the Bible says about marriage is sex, which is becoming one. King David had hundreds of wives, not because he had a ceremony with all of his concubines, but because he slept with all of them. You become one through sex and becoming one is marriage. This is something that the church fails to recognize. Let's say for instance we use a different example. Baptism for instance. Baptism is not sanctification. It is an outward sign of what has already happened inwardly. The same goes for marriage. Having a ceremony or putting on a ring or signing a piece of paper is not marriage. That is the outward sign to the world that you are now married. Marriage though however, happens in the heart in private just like our relationship with Jesus Christ happens in our heart and in private. God has let us have this guide in our life where all things are the same. We can compare our relationship to him to every other relationship and have an answer to what is what. Everything happens in the heart. It is not what goes into the body which defiles, but what comes out of the heart that defiles. God is not interested in ceremonies or legal contracts. God is interested in our heart and what we do with it. This is something that Christians need to understand and stop thinking that a legal contract has any meaning to God whatsoever. Stay abstinent until you're ready to marry and if you've had sex before marriage, I hate to break it to you but you are now married in the eyes of God. And no man can separate that. Not through a legal contract either. The Bible is clear about that as well.
    If you've had sex with someone, you are married to them.
    There's a lot of this type of thing that the church doesn't teach today. You'd be surprised how much we don't know. Another example is cussing. The bible doesn't really talk about it. It talks about cursing. Which is whichcraft. Has nothing to do with language. But if it did, then crap means the same as shit. Do you think God is offended by the arrangement of letters? Of course not!!! Don't be silly. He cares about what comes out of the heart...aka intent. If you believe shit is a sinful word, then i hate to break it to you, but crap means the same thing. Shoot does too. So, figure out your heart and leave legality behind you.

    • @lexm6904
      @lexm6904 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I agree with the first part .. but the cussing… no. The Bible says to rid filthy language. Cussing is filthy language.

    I should have ended my marriage years ago and saved alot of hurt feelings....but do you blame me? I loved her and wanted it to work. I had our whole future to be excited for and held onto hope. I loved our family and our upcoming baby and we also had a second one while trying to make it work.... I love my family but clearly see I should have ended it. If only she wanted to fix it as much as I did... she refused marital counseling saying that statistics tell her counseling doesn't work.....without trying. This broke me... I live alone trying to fight for time to see my children. She convinced the court that covid was a valid reason to keep me from the children. I'm still fighting. Over 3 years now. Missed Christmas's, birthdays, fathers day... I'm a wreck. I miss my babies. She replaced me Ina month and 2 new boyfriends are around my kids more than I am. I've been able to see them 9 times over almost 4 years.

I got a license to marry earlier this year and got it signed by a person recognized by my state and have been living with my “spouse” since then. He and I did not stand before a judge or clergy person and recite any vows. Are we still in a covenant marriage? Since we never recited and vows before God and witnesses, does God recognize what we have as a covenant?

My husband and I we haven't gotten a piece of paper to prove Marriage nor had a ceremony. Is it society or is it scripture that we have to have a piece of paper to say we are married? We both parent our toddlers with one another we are showing the world we are two people living as one. Devoted calling each other the rolls. Husband Leads and loves our family. We're a dad and mom raising kids together forever in the end. Is this what religion would call "living in sin" Thank you for the advise and the direction to scripture.

      "In like manner, you married women, be submissive to your own husbands [subordinate yourselves as being secondary to and dependent on them, and adapt yourselves to them], so that even if any do not obey the Word [of God], they may be won over not by discussion but by the [godly] lives of their wives, when they observe the pure and modest way in which you conduct yourselves, ..."
      1. Peter 3:1-2
      In other words continue following Christ, pray for him (in secret), with time he will become born-again.
      " But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. "
      Mathew 6 vs. 6
      Concerning your legal issue, you seem to be a beautiful Family. Whats stopping you to go to the registration office ? There's a blessing and honor that comes with being officially married:
      " Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
      So we may boldly say:
      “The Lord is my helper;
      I will not fear.
      What can man do to me?”
      Hebrews 13:4-6

    Thank you Mark! I just came across something interesting about "divorce only when adultery" ...it actually is not the proper translation and from the greek it was pornography or incest. Otherwise if someone wants a divorce they just have to practice adultery and then it would be ok in front of God...basically an easy way out...I would like to also know what makes a marriage Godly? When would it be godly joined together? God bless!

    The Bible does not say a woman who finds a man finds a good thing. That is false teaching and not the bible. the word says a man that finds a wife finds a good thing and shell obtain favor of the Lord. Too many people twist them words in the Bible to fit them and this is a prime example of things being out of order.

    Real question here: What do you guys think about people who get married but they do not want to have kids? I'm not talking about ppl struggling with infertility, I'm talking about people who are capable of having children yet they choose not to. Should a person still get married even though they do not want to have kids?
    I mean usually your desire for marriage comes with a desire to have a family one day too. But what if the person wants to get married but they dont wanna have kids? Is it sinful?

    • @kaysstudybuddy
      @kaysstudybuddy ปีที่แล้ว

      Not at all, another purpose of marriage is partnership. As long as the both of the couple has talked about it and agreed about it then childless marriages still exists. The thing though is that the other partner would often feel deprived of his/her sexual needs which often leads to adultery then for the relationship to not last.
      But childless marriages still do happen, whenever you don't wanna be alone and you wanna have a partner but don't wanna have any child. Most couples do get to have one though, but they tend to have at an old age because they realize that they're ready and they already want one.

    • @kaysstudybuddy
      @kaysstudybuddy ปีที่แล้ว

      It's really just a matter of "How would we glorify God better?"
      If God didn't give the couple any desire to have kids at least during the early years of marriage then it's because they're called to do God's work together as a partner.

    • @kaysstudybuddy
      @kaysstudybuddy ปีที่แล้ว

      But I won't say that it is a sin, but depriving your partner to have sex is a bad thing or should I say unhealthy for the relationship, especially as a wife or as a husband in a marriage covenant.
      But if let's say that the woman, at the early stages of the relationship, have told the guy regarding it agreed and still commits himself then he should work it out that way.
      It's a negotiable thing

I am struggling with the fact that it will seem much like single parenting every night alone with our newborn, and will impede the bond of father and baby. Any biblical advice or scripture is welcome on this topic. Thanks!

      If you are planning a wedding and have full intention to marry and make this union until death. If both parties understand this now - then the legal certificate is just a formality. It protects what is underneath the certification. Why would you separate to then come back together because of a technicality.
      A covenant refers to a promise made by one party to another to either do or refrain from doing a certain act.
      You seal a covenant before you sign a contract.
      While a contract is legally binding, a covenant is a spiritual agreement. A contract is an agreement between parties while a covenant is a pledge. You can opt out of a contract while a covenant is about having the strengths to hold up your part of the promise.
      A proper form: To make a covenant it must, according to the definition above given, be by deed or under seal. No particular form of words is necessary to make a covenant, but any words which manifest the intention of the parties, with respect to the subject matter of the contract, are sufficient.
      marriage: 1 man 1 woman for a lifetime is a covenant. It’s an agreement between the both parties.
      A covenant is made and then the law can follow
      You can even get legally divorced, but a covenant cannot be broken.
      Gods omnipresence makes him a witness to our covenant ‘witness to wife of your youth’ ‘if she is a virgin, you must marry her’, ‘ you do violence for divorcing your wife’

    Okay. Where does it say in bible that you need to go before a judge or justice of the peace to get a little piece of paper saying I'm married? Later time I knew adam and eve never got a paper from God saying they were married. As long as you are devoted to a single man or women and are one flesh. Isnt that a marriage. Isnt a license just a piece of paper?? My problem is if your faithful to a T, and you can not get back on straight and narrow with that person. The little piece of worthless paper now just lost you half of everything you worked for. There is bible verse that refers to the gaining of skills and making more. Wouldn't that be losing? Is that little piece of paper worth losing or weakening of your faith because you " married" the wrong person??

  • @22johnbrabant
    @22johnbrabant ปีที่แล้ว

    What troubles me is that there is one verse that people use to justify infidelity as a reason for divorce in the verse clearly says for the cause of fornication and does not say for the cause of adultery. They are two different things and someone who is married is not committing fornication they are committing adultery therefore this verse does not apply to cheating in a marriage.
    Fornication was taken so seriously that this calls was made so that if a man married a woman and discovered she was not a virgin that he could put her away quietly at the time that he discovered this.

    Let me give you a little context before I ask my question. I'm planning on getting married this year. I told my wife to be, that marriage right now is nothing more than a contract between a man and woman. Because I strongly believe that love, loyalty, and commitments can be demonstrated without being legally married. I don't like the idea of a physical contract being sign for us to be husband and wife. Because I love my woman with my whole existence, however, if I need to sign a "contract", then ill sign it with every brain cell that I have. So if "God was the author of marriage" So it was his idea to get the "contract" involved when getting married?

    The Bible does say not to be unequally yoked but it also says in 1 Corinthians 7 "12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. 15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?" So if you are already married to an unbeliever you should not divorce them.

If a sexual union takes place without the first two components, then the relationship is not a marriage but is sin.
      Malachi 2:14-16; 1 Cor. 6:9 (if sex was marriage, fornication wouldn't exist).
