Is Batman Returns a Christmas Movie? I mean, I don't see how it isn't as so much of the plot revolves around Christmas! But it's surely debateable!
Batman Returns is a 1992 American superhero film directed by Tim Burton and written by Daniel Waters. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, it is the sequel to Batman (1989) and the second installment in the 1989-1997 Batman series. In the film, the superhero vigilante Batman comes into conflict with wealthy industrialist Max Shreck and deformed crime boss Oswald Cobblepot / The Penguin, who seek power, influence, and respect regardless of the cost to Gotham City. Their plans are complicated by Selina Kyle, Shreck's formerly-meek secretary, who seeks vengeance against Shreck as Catwoman. The cast includes Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Michael Gough, Pat Hingle, and Michael Murphy.

McDonald's killed the Burton films. Seriously, they were panicking when they found out how dark and weird the movie was, they had already made toys for the happy meals. Can't have toys of Penguin drooling green slime while the kiddies are eating their McNuggets.

Actually it was the Karen Moms who took their kids to see a PG-13 movie and then complained to McDonald's about it.
Danny Devito was a excellent Penguin. He was pretty convincing. Michelle Pfeiffer was a great Catwoman. It is your not so merry Christmas film but it is action packed and Michael Keaton is a great Batman no ways about it! Well worth your time!
Catwoman to me seemed like a antihero kinda like a hero and villain at the same time

Loved your Penguin suit, i will search and try to buy one for me, that batman movie was my first, everytime i cry for penguin and wish for an alternate future for him because well flash messed up the multiverse, maybe he retconned burtonverse endings, everytime i feel bad for penguin, he somehow strike deeply into my heart like seeing my own emotional suffering on a mirror
I think in the comics (I know in the MMO DC Universe Online they do) sometimes the Penguin sort of reforms himself and becomes a respected citizen to the point of giving up crime, I think he even becomes mayor of Gotham... even though he still kinda cant help but go back to his old ways.
He's not good, but he's not exactly evil, he's just made from bad situations... although no where near the level of tragic anti-villian like Mr Freeze.
