The scene where Catwoman whips the mannequins heads off in the Store are genuine. Michelle Pfeiffer spent days/weeks with a whip expert/tuitor to learn how to master the thing. The whole scene was shot in one shot and it was 100% her, no practical/special effects.
Also, Michelle Pfeiffer is the coolest Catwoman ever! She brought a sexy intelligence to a powerful role. Not once did she ever come across as cheesy, campy or a dumb sexpot.

1992-1993 was a hell of a 2 years: you had this movie, the first introduction of Harley Quinn and bane in the comics. The animated series began. The comics also had "knightfall" and "knightquest" along with Tim Drake going solo as robin in his first series. "Shadow of the bat" kicked off in 1992 as well as Catwoman's solo . And the "death of superman" thing was going on too. What a time to be reading comics as a kid

Also Frank Millers “The Dark Knight “ had come out about 5 years prior to this but it’s one of my favorite Batman Comics of all time. Frank really revived Batman in my opinion during this time period
The TV series had 2 iconic Catwomen: Eartha Kitt & Julie Newmar. The name Max Shreck was the name of the actor that played Nosferatu in the silent film of the same name. This was the story of the novel Dracula that was made without paying for the rights to the story to Bram Stoker..
The most Christopher Walken dialog in the film that Christopher Walken delivered in a Christopher Walken way was, "Yawn!"
Believe it or not - What I might call the "original" Penguin (from the TV series) was played by "Mickey" from the Rocky movie - Burgess Meredith.

Fun Fact: This film actually retconned the origins and appearances of both Penguin 🐧 and Catwoman 😺. Cobblepot's hands originally had five fingers but now are fins. Selena was not originally a resurrected cat-person, she was just a normal burglar (jewel thief) in a cat suit. 🦇Great reactions 🦇

@@StoneColdSteveAutism95 It's like Pierce Brosnan being the best James Bond. Terrible material to work with. But brilliant casting. George Clooney makes for a fantastic Bruce Wayne. Whether he makes a decent Batman is anybody's guess, given the quality of the films. Shame, too, because every actor in a role like this (a similar argument can be made for the above mentioned JB, Superman, Jack Ryan, etc.) deserves a quality film to showcase their ability to portray that character. Clooney was done dirty.

This has probably already been mentioned but in case it hasn't, playing the part of the Penguin's father is none other than the late Paul Reuben aka Peewee Herman!! The actress playing his mom played Simone in Peewee's Big Adventure, Diane Salinger. Just a couple of fun facts. lol

In case you didnt notice, the Penguin's parents were played by Paul Reubens and Diane Salinger. They were respectively Pee Wee Hermann and Simone in Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Then, in the Gotham tv series, Paul Reubens was cast as the father of the Penguin character. Good stuff.
The name MAX SHRECK is a nod to the silent film actor Max Shreck, who played the first filmed vampire in NOSFERATU

Again, I highly suggest seeking out Batman '66 - the movie from the Adam West Batman TV show - before you watch the Schumachers (Batman Forever and Batman & Robin). He is very influenced by the camp and humor of the old series and the 66 movie encapsulates it very well.

You should see the DC animated movies. The Batman DC animated movies are really good.
Batman Under the Red Hood is an awesome animated movie about the second Robin, Jason Todd.

I know this will probably not make your list, but if you could find your way to watching the movie Clear cut from 1991, it will bring you to tears.
I can tell you had to cut and mute a lot out of it but you still produced a fun reaction, for me the discussion at the end is a big highlight, very grateful for the effort to get it up so we could watch it.

these actors are very good with playing these roles certainly gave the characters more depth especially with the red triangle circus gang good story too Danny Devito did a good job with a darker or earlier penguin character just like michelle phifeifre as catwoman when it was light and dark contrasts with not just her but all of them

I love Batman Returns and Michelle is still the hottest Catwoman. I'll be curious to see what you guys think of Batman Forever, I thought Val Kilmer made a good Batman and I still found it entertaining even if it's not as good as the Burton movies. LOL I would skip Batman and Robin.

There are two more 90s Batman films with different cast and directors that I suppose you have to see; but please add the 1969 Adam West Batman movie to your list because it’s so amazingly campy and very entertaining. Id argue it’s the most rewatchable because the silliness never gets old.

McDonald’s is actually the reason we did not get another Burton Batman movie. During the time McDonald’s was promoting Batman Returns with happy meal toys. So parents were taking kids to see this, and it is clearly not a kids movie. These parents were the original Karens. They complained to McDonald’s, and because of the backlash WB was forced to change direction to more kid friendly Batman movies.
Such cowardice. How many times have they taken their children to watch dark violent films prior to Batman Returns' theatrical release? Fucking hypocrites.

Nice reaction, not as great as 1989, but still a fun movie to watch.
I loved this movie so much and it was the first time I saw Michelle,Daany and christerpher in a movie so this was my introduction to them as actors haha. Yes Michelle's Catwoman is exactly as she is in the comics both in the way she acts and the way she looks as well. Michel was the first Batman I saw and honostly to this day still my favorite but Val kilmer is my second favorite really and the next one isn't too bad it has Jim Carry and Tommy Lee Jones as the bad guys and again it was my first interduction to all those actors Val included and it wasn't that bad of a movie really...not like the first two but not so bad.
