I really loved the experience overall, I stayed at the 33rd floor and had an amazing room and the room service, there was a lot of noise on the floor below me though, which was tough to sleep through but still it was really nice!
I was on very top standing on a beam when it was a constructed 600 feet.. I believe it was around 1998 or 99. They let me just go right on up, so I did!

The quality of service at Mandalay has plummeted. We saw angry guests at the front desk multiple times each day as we too were dealing with our own frustrations with the hotel. The wave pool, one of the highlights of our stay there during each trip, is an absolute joke now. There are no more waves at all, apparently due to safety concerns that were never a problem in the past, somehow. Now it’s just a lackluster pool with lifeguards that are blowing their whistle and barking orders at guests constantly. It has lost every ounce of fun it was held. The air conditioning in several of the rooms wasn’t working and promised fixes were not met, the staff was curt and unhelpful, they nickel and dime you for every little tiny thing, many things which used to be complementary, like bottled water in the rooms..and many many other things that just left a sour note throughout our visit. Things were so bad that we have decided we are done with Mandalay Bay and will try a different hotel next time we go to Vegas.

Question. How is the mobile check in at the Mandaly Bay? I understand everything is going contact-less. However, how do you get a room key if you choose not to have a digital key? How do you show I.D.? I don't want anyone touching my license/credit card.
Oh the Mandalay Bay is just an awesome place to stay in Las Vegas. Especially after a horrible mass shooting like what happened on October 1, 2017. Come to the Mandalay Bay and celebrate the biggest mass shooting in America.

A good introduction to Mandalay Bay, but you did leave out all the great restaurants. The restaurants are an important part of a hotel overview.
