Great video! Being born and raised here in Vegas, funny enough I've grown to pick our hotel for our staycations based on the pool area alone 😂 I agree with your choices and you did great visuals of all the pools. One helpful piece of info about these pools to throw in, in the future are the pool hours. Some of the pools close a lot earlier than one would want or imagine would be an appropriate time to close being that it doesn't get dark here till after 8 pm
Thank you so much for posting this video! I'm going to Vegas real soon and I'm staying at Mandalay Bay. One reason for choosing that hotel is the pool! I've never had a dedicated "pool day" when I've been to Vegas in the past, and this time I will lol
Yes Ruby!! Bellagio’s pool is so underrated. Can’t wait, I’ll be there in a few short weeks with a Miami Vice in hand :) Love your picks, spot on as always!
We really like Park MGM East Pool. 18 and older and quiet, great drink service, good food. I do love the Bellagio pool, but we don't tend to get full comps there and we do at Park MGM. Great options Ruby!
Great Reviews Ms. Ruby. I've stayed and "pooled" at several of these and I agree. My personal favorite, without kids, Is the Caesar's complex. When the teens were with us, it was Golden Nugget .
We love Mirage and Aria. Both have a chill hangout vibe. I'd love to try Bellagio in the near future. I recommend anyone staying at Mandalay or MGM that wants to enjoy the lazy river too throw a cheap inflatable tube in your luggage as tubes are $30-$40 for the same you can buy at your local discount store. Mandalay has a station to fill your own tubes for free and MGM has a station that will fill them for $5. If you do happen to purchase a tube at either resort also know that MGM will refill that tube free of charge.
I've not spent too much time by the pools in Vegas but my favourite is/was definitely Mirage, really relaxing and great sized pool with plenty of drink options and enough shade too.
I just got back from a stay at Cosmo. We went to both pools. We got there at 9 in the morning and by 10 or 11 the water was all cloudy. We spent one day at each pool and it happened at both. We tried to tell ourselves it was sunscreen, but I’ve got an eye infection and it is my theory it is from the pool. It would be interesting if you got water samples from each of these pools and see how they do on cleanliness at noon each day. Thanks for your channel.
The only pool I’ve been to on this list is Mandalay Bay and I’m glad it’s at #2. The only con about this pool is the lack of shade. I was burning tf up 😂! The Delano pool is good when you want a break from the crowd.
I would love if you could do a winter pools review! Which pools stay open? Which ones are heated? Which Strip hotel has the best pool experience during the winter? I have a November birthday, so that's likely when I would be able to visit
Flamingo is so fun, that’s definitely my favorite! Love the waterfall and the slide and the party vibe, and drinks are really yum. Otherwise, I do love the hot tub area at Venetian but the pool area needed some TLC last time I was there. MGM grand is okay, we just stayed in June, but it was sooo crowded in the lazy river you could barely move and people lined up right before opening to get in, and the tube fill lines were insanely long in blazing sunlight with little to no shade. Glad I tried it out but would definitely prefer it more towards off season when there aren’t as many people 😖
I am visiting Vegas for the first time from London in October and I am so excited. I have been binge-watching your videos since we booked it! Another great video :)
I don't disagree too much with your ranking, but to me the Encore European Pool is my absolute favorite pool in all of Vegas if you're talking standard and ancillary pools. It's just breathtaking, the service is impeccable, it draws such a great crowd and energy, the music is appeasing..............there's just nothing quite like it in Vegas for me. 🙂 I'm also shocked Flamingo's pool isn't featured here. I think most Caesars' resort pools are lackluster to say the least.............EXCEPT for the Flamingo's. It's most festive, has a LOT of personality, evokes such a lush, tropical atmosphere only rivaled by Mandalay Bay, Mirage and Encore's pools, and has its share of interesting quirks. I'd definitely rank Flamingo's pretty high on my personal list. 🙂 I think I'd order mine like this: * 1) Encore (European Pool) 2) Circa 3) Bellagio 4) Mirage 5) Wynn 6) Mandalay Bay 7) Flamingo 8) Mirage 9) MGM Grand 10) Palms * And my top five worst pools would be: * 1) Circus Circus 2) Treasure Island 3) Harrahs 4) Horseshoe 5) Paris
Great list- close to my heart are the Flamingo, and the best party is at TI... when we stayed at Mandalay, it was very hard to find a chair and it was ok but not as fun as TI...
My all-time favorite was the old Hard Rock pool, but it was the 1990s and I was young, lol. I prefer Red Rock's pool. That is my vibe. Mandalay Beach would probably be my second choice.
One of the most surprising pools, or lack of, was at New York NY. The smallest pool ever for a major Casino hotel. Its the size of a standard size Domestic Pool.
Mandalay Bay was amazing when it opened, but in my opinion it's not held up very well against newer pool complexes. There are much bigger and better wave pools and lazy rivers at water parks all around the county, and the side pools are quite small and very difficult to move around in if there's even small number of people in them.
While I don't have current plans to jump into a pool when I go, I can say that the Bellagio pool is definitely the top choice. I got the chance to go in the Bellagio pool back in 2021 back when my mom and I went for my birthday weekend. Since we got there in the morning and it was windy that morning, getting to be in the pool with the warm water really hit the spot for me (Mom didn't join me in the pool, but she did join me for a quick lunch).
I stayed at Bellagio and enjoyed the pool. I like your selection of it as No. 1 because it is quiet and relaxing. In the old days, the mom-and-pop motels along the strip had the pool basically in the parking lot and they came with diving boards. Today if you find a hotel resort that has a diving board at the pool, then you have just entered the Twilight Zone.
Bally's actually has a super deep end and it is big and you can actually swim lengths -- hopefully they are cleaning it up but i used to stay there in last 10 years only so i could swim lengths
My honorable mention is the Cromwell pool at night, not for swimming but for ambiance. The palm trees and lighting around the pool are beautiful. I saw a concert there and it was a real wow moment for me. You're outside and you're high enough off the street that the noise isn't bad, but low enough that you can still enjoy the strip lit up at night with icons like the Bellagio and Ceasars across the street.
MGM Grand I would say hands down best for me, but here’s a tip bring your own innertube because the inner tubes there are $25-$30 each.. FYI they charge five dollars to blow them up. Lol.🎉
Going to Vegas in the early fall (16th time over a 20 year span!) and I really enjoy your updates and tips. Have you ever considered filming a video about the Arts District? I know, maybe a little out of the norm for you but I think it would be super fun to watch.
I was just at the marquee day club pool party at Cosmo . I straight up refused to get in the pool there, my buddy did and the chemicals stained his shorts.
Come ON!! No mention of the Flamingo!! It was one of the first pools to only allow guests since EVERYONE wanted to be there. Do have to admit, it's small now compared to other pools. Thanks so much
Just got back from Aria. The pool there is nothing special. I like the Bellagio pool very much. Very chill and relaxing. I also really liked the pools at Caesars Palace. The Garden of the Gods I think deserves to be in the top 10. The old pool at Monte Carlo was a lot of fun. They had a wave pool and a lazy river. Kind of like a mini-Mandalay Bay. I miss that pool. Much better than what they have now at Park MGM.
I enjoyed the Monte Carlo pool and miss it too. They also had a volleyball court that was fun. Caesars pool should be on the list. I went a few times without having to be a hotel guest but was turned away once because it was busy.
Caesars not in the Top 10 Im surprised - can you do a tour of the JW Marriott Pool Hotel & Rampart Sportsbook & Casino pls - dont see too many videos and it looks amazing
Hi Ruby I'm from Australia love both your channels. The very first time I came to Las Vegas I was 12 years old in 1986 my dad drove from Anaheim Ca in the middle of your summer so hot, we stayed at the Golden Nugget hotel all we myself and sister wanted was the pool we got there put our swimmers on and got to the pool and was told sorry CLOSED FOR CLEANING. Back then it was a small pool not like today we were so upset travelled hours in the hot car for no pool. I've been back twice in 2016 and 2019 we always stay at Trump hotel now I love there pool never crowded love it. Thank you for your videos please do one on Trump hotel. 🇦🇺❤
Another well done video . Glad the Golden Nugget made the list it’s iconic . I only stay at the Wynn/ Encore when I go to Vegas. I really enjoy the Encore and Wynn pools but I enjoy seeing the other pools as well #wulffdendad
Whaaaaaaa’ Caesar’s didn’t make the list?! Def one my fav pool(s). The swim up black Jack tables are iconic. The huge center water fountain is so much fun!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 #kkashvegas #caesarslasvegas
Caesars is actually one of the worst pools in Vegas if you aren’t willing to pay for a vip chair or cabana. The fountain pool in the middle is absolutely freezing. One small pool is just for black jack, so this relegates all the non-vip people to the small pool in the corner. The beautiful nice pool in the middle is for cabana and vip chair purchasers only.
I only stay at the Excalibur, I'm not going to Vegas to spend a lot of money on a room to sleep, when I'm not there to sleep, I like the resort there because the resort fee is reasonable and there are a lot of families, so it actually feels like a pool not the upper deck on a cruise ship. I can eat the food at any casino, so I'm not paying to stay anywhere for the "food". This way I always more money to enjoy Vegas, not the just Hotel.
Shocked Bellagio was number 1 for you. It’s definitely nice but i find that special flooring outside the pool smells terrible from inside the pool. 😂 maybe im just weird. Agree with the rest of the list!
Stadium is cool unless you need or want shade. There is zero shade unless you buy a cabana for $150,000! Haha I’m sure it is less than that but expensive nonetheless. Dope scene for sports and the BJ tables are 3 to 2, bonus! Just remember sunscreen because there is literally zero shade.
I don't like the pool at Caesars Palace honestly. She actually recently stayed there and logged her disappointing experience there: including apparently making one of their pools exclusive to only some guests despite previously being available to all staying at the resort. Flamingo is really the only Caesars' resort pool I love. I can do without pretty much every other Caesars' resort pool.
I needed this, thank you. any good for real swimming? Pools are my #1 concern as a lifelong swimmer. I need to know too if they have deep ends since I do synchro.
Thank you for your review. I must say, I'm always curious about the pools. I've visited Mandalay Bay and absolutely loved it. I've also been to Bellagio, but I find that hotel, including the pools, to be overrated. I'm heading to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks, and unfortunately, I won't be able to stay at Mandalay Bay this time. However, I'll provide an update on the pool situation.
Which pool is your favorite in Las Vegas?
Mandalay Bay is my #1 favorite pool in Las Vegas! 😎🩵
Tahati resort
Encore + Wynn ❤❤❤
El mirage pick for me. I love the tropical look with the trees.
Been to Vegas at least 20 times but never been in any of the pools. I am too busy “funding” the casinos by gambling lol. Great review though!

Like you, Mirage was my first Vegas experience so that pool instantly floods me with memories! Glad it made the list!

It’s because they want you to go spend in the casinos and restaurants!

For the best time it’s Flamingo #1 by a MILE and MGM #2

I've not spent too much time by the pools in Vegas but my favourite is/was definitely Mirage, really relaxing and great sized pool with plenty of drink options and enough shade too.

Thanks for getting back Rubi! You rock, can’t wIt till you get to a million!!

Love this video. What about Ceasars?
The MGM lazy river was fantastic. Only complaint was too much chlorine
I’m surprised that the flamingo pool is not on here 😮
Bellagio pool is my fav. My wife and I always rent a cabana when we have our "pool days."

I ran into you at the flamingo today! Thanks for being awesome!
I will be staying at the Bellagio in Sept. & look forward to the pool!
Great List! Hard to only choose 10
Never been in the pools when I’ve been there. Will be hitting the strip next month..maybe this will be the time I hit the pool
I would looove a video like this of your favorite casinos to gamble in
The pool at the Bellagio is sooo cold! It was hot af outside and when you got in the water it was too cold!

Hi Ruby,

Honestly I'm not a pool guy, but this video was very enjoyable and informative to watch.
one small note...GOLDEN NUGGET has a great pool at their casino/hotel location in Atlantic City too(IMO)
