Faye McGill04 bad example, bullets was a great album The only one with raw and genuine screams and emotion Only like the younger kids tend to dislike it tho so oh well
i'd like to disagree tbh, i mean you can look at music however you want, that's the beauty of it, but as a musician, lyrics don't change a song's impact for me. it's all about the music itself
We have different opinions on this album, but I do somewhat agree with you. I feel as with this album Tyler tried to let out everything he was feeling at once. It did make the songs all over the place, but that’s what I love about it. It was a very experimental album, and I love listening to each song because they all sound so different. Love the video! Your so good at editing 😂 can I have lessons pls
Ugh why did this video have to end?!?! 😭 here’s my interpretation on March to the sea: he is constantly being told to be like everybody else and is trying to fit in with everybody else. He does what they say because he wants to try and fit in with everybody else. Then, in his head something is urging him to do something else. Telling him don’t listen to what other people say, and follow your heart. So he does that, but by the end he feels as if nobody accepts him anymore. So, he “falls back in line” (follows everybody else) because he tries to fit in. I honestly think it’s a cycle. Being told to fit in, following his heart, then falling back in line. Sorry if this was long I was carried away oops I have been waiting for this video so I got excited 😂
Oh man if you got attacked by fans after the positive vessel reaction this will probably be even worse. the problem is, after so many new "fake" fans came at the release of blurryface, the original or "true" fans now completely worship this album. or maybe they always did, idk. but this was before a record label and their first album so of course it has faults, and i agree with you that i don't particularly love his vocals or the production on this, but that is subjective of course. i would say it is definitely better live though, i never really understood everyone's obsession with addict with a pen until i saw it live and honestly his performance was heartbreaking. i had never thought of the fact that the repetition conveys anxiety, so thanks for that. with you pointing out the good and the bad you are actually making me appreciate the good parts even more, and i hope your reaction does the same for other people who blindly love and worship absolutely everything they do because they are "precious smol beans that must be protected at all costs." i am glad you are attracting so many twenty one pilots fans, because people like you are essential in such an intense fandom. i hope people take the time to listen to what you have to say, and maybe agree to disagree, and not just leave hate comments. i really respect your honesty, you've got balls expressing your opinion to this fandom.
kennedy cepero don't worry, i was by no means calling anyone a fake fan, just pointing out stuff i had seen in the fandom. if the music brings you genuine joy then you are a fan, no matter when you started listening or even how much you know:) i am glad they have helped you!
I'm from after Blurryface, and I freaking hate it. I personally do like Blurryface, but it aint my favorite. Its really poppy, but still good. They help me with eternal sadness.
There is no such thing is a fake fan. I became a fan after blurry face and I listen to all the albums. A true twenty one pilots fan accepts everyone no matter what.
Shiet, no offense but you made me slightly not care about your video unintentionally. When you mentioned the Swans album, I got curious, paused the video and looked it up. And I am now listening to it and literally cannot stop. Thank you for introducing me to that. Will finish your video later. ;D
+Brad Taste in Music Damn, I feel like I'm in a musical coma. I literally just listened to the whole album in one go. I loved how unsettling the whole thing was, especially that sudden laugh track in I think the second track was it? It was really unsettling, but at the same time I couldn't move and I couldn't stop. I can't rank the songs out, but I think one of my favourites was Oxygen, I loved the insanity of it. That combined with the lyrics felt to me like two split personalities scrapping it out over who will be in control(I might be projecting that onto the lyrics, but that is what I saw in it myself.) I would write out something that makes more sense, but I am in a bit of a haze right now.
Marti what are u trying to.do lol? I saw lot of ppl talking about their music when actually they know shit. I don't have to fucking agree with his so called funny edits or something. He obviously don't know anything about this band. It took some fucking time you think I wasn't there too? But I didn't bitch around like I was God and new everything. It took a fucking time to understand their music and this video is shit. He don't know about Tyler and his relationship with GOD, or anything behind it. This is just wha makes me mad,ppl who talk shit about them
I mainly like this video because there is no pandering and I like that. You tell it how you feel and I like that. And the editing on this makes me laugh. I like you.
honestly, idk why twenty one pilots fans are so triggered. Like, I'm a huuuuge fan of them, and of course i adore them because of how unique, raw, and creative they are. However, brad is allowed to have his own opinions and ranting in the comments won't change his mind about their music. His opinions will never ruin their music for me. Let the man have his own opinions :)
Yeah I agree with you, not everyone has the same taste in music and people are allowed to have there own opinion. The only thing I don’t like is when people call Twenty One Pilots songs generic because it’s not, it’s unique, creative and I like it because it really shows his emotions and how he was feeling that time of his life.
I totally think this guy needs more subscribers and views, the editing is really good, the comedy is fine boi, and the things you say about them, well, the "mean" things, I know im probably supposed to be offended or something but actually it was really funny, I personally LOVE this album, sonically, lyrically, everything, but i totally understand if you dont enjoy it sonically or just the way the music is, everyone is different, there is certain type of music for everybody, but it was nice that you at least listened to the lyrics and tried to understand the message, altough it was kind of a shame you didn't like the music. keep it up man, I believe you should be getting paid a lot considering the time and effort you actually put into making these. btw, here are some albums I would really enjoy you react to: (some of them i think you will hate and thats the reason I am showing them to you, because you make it funny xD) Crybaby - Melanie Martinez Regional At Best - Twenty Øne Piløts Death of a Bachelor - Panic! At the Disco A Fever You Can't Sweat Out - Panic! At the Disco Cuco On Audiotree Live (since the songs i want you to hear aren't in an official album) - Cuco Always Ascending - Franz Ferdinand Right Thoughts, RIght Words, Right Action - Franz Ferdinand Evolve - Imagine Dragons
“These lyrics are extremely vague, you can call this deep but it just seems like there are details not being said; almost feeling like complete filler, I don’t think this was portrayed as well is could’ve been” COMPLETELY agree... wow!!!!!
Amazing. Again, glad you gave reasons on why you don't like something. I'm glad people have opinions and arent just mindless zombies. I do love them but the fandom can be a little intense. Hats off to you.
i like your videos because while i do disagree with certain things, you bring up fair points and criticism. For this video i feel like it’s understandable you wouldn’t like their self titled as much because you don’t enjoy piano ballads like you’ve mentioned, but you’re still giving it a shot and listening to the lyrics which is nice. This album as well as regional at best is more heavily focused on the religious aspect which is what majority of the lyrics are. Personally i enjoy piano and such, and i enjoy Tyler’s voice which is why i love this album so much, but i can see where you’re coming from with not particularly liking it. Best wishes, the video was funny can’t wait for part 2
Dude i feel your pain about The Pantaloon ahaha. I can't stand Tyler's vocals here even though i love his voice. The message is good, but it doesn't help the fact I can't enjoy the song, so it's def my least fave track on self titled and prolly least fave out of all their discography. March to the Sea is not really interesting for me in terms of music, but i love the story and metaphors that he uses. Also i like how some sounds make you feel you hear the sea. Your editing is amazing as always, i appreciate the effort you put in this. It makes you a stand out content maker. Most of youtubers pick reactions cause it's easy to make and they do fucking 10 reactions a day where they just stare at the screen and say nothing. So keep it up man
10:18 LOOOL. Ok man, i don't know if you going to react to Regional At Best but that album sounds like more Vessel and is the best album of TOP IMO, but i think you should react to or listen later. Good vid keep doing that
march to the sea is a metaphor for how he and many others think suicide is the only way, hence the “ocean graves”, but as he’s about to kill himself he realizes how many people care about him and how much he cares about them as well, aka the “spaceship” cool story
I don't feel the same about the album (I love it) and I'M sad you didn't like it (it was expected) but I respect your opinion and I kinda undestand what you'Re talking about not everybody loves Tyler's voice but maybe you would like regional at best :D but anyways thx for the reaction
I feel like you're half and half here. You like some aspects of the band and their music and that's totally okay. I love this album but if you don't, that's fine!
This was EXACTLY the same reaction I had when listening to the album the first time. I thought it was a kind of music I would never be listening on my own for pleasure. Now its my favorite album lol. I'm a big fan of TOP but I admit his songs, in my opinion, are never likely at first
Once again, another fantastic video! I really didnt think you were going to like for clear reasons that you displayed in other videos (tylers vocals, rapping flow, more slow emotional type songs etc) and though i wasnt wrong, i wasnt fully right either! This album was made super early on back when it was tyler and two of his friends from college, so it wasnt even the original band. This was their super experimental portion of where Tyler was really trying to find a sound for TOP. So the album as a whole combines a lot of that risk trying to find a solid sound with religious elements. At this point, he was REALLY struggling with himself as a person as well as with his faith and it shows HEAVILY on this album, which a lot of people dont really like. For me personally, i hated this album when i first listened to it. Now i actually consider it to be my second favorite album of theirs. Your points are extremely valid for why youre not getting 'hooked' on this album (using that term v v loosely) like you did vessel. Hell it may take a couple listens, if you wanna bare through it or not is the next question. To each their own, cant wait for part 2 dude!
I've just binged all your twenty one pilots reviews and its getting increasingly funnier to me cause you lowkey look a lil like Tyler Joseph. Also your perspective on them is so refreshing because you're actually giving the music a chance rather than judging it completely on the fans and completely hating it OR loving ALL of it despite the obvious flaws. Seeing an opinion midway between those two extremes is nice.
I'm just satisfied that he liked Friend, Please. That's all I wanted. Now he can go rip on any song, doesn't matter if I love it or hate it. I'm happy. And it's funny when Brad does that, anyway
My theory: In the end of the song of March To The Sea , Is that in the end you'd see that it said "So then you put me back in my place, So I might start another day" I THINK that mean that He got rejected, and by "I might start another day" IS that he will try to get up and look for someone that doesn't reject him, this verse of "And once again I will be, In a march to the sea" once again I think it might be that he failed to be loved, Tyler failed on not giving up and falling to the floor, same with the song air catcher. again this is just what I think I could be completely wrong xd
Omg your 'spoken word solo' in Fall Away ;) that wad great. I actually love love love twenty one pilots. That being said, I also agree with a lot of your criticisms.
the ironic thing is you kind of look like tyler sometimes. i'm a twenty one pilots fan myself but i absolutely love your reviews and understand your criticisms. you're so funny dude keep it up
Btw that second definition of pantaloon is the correct one; it’s supposed to be like an old man who’s losing his sense and stuff, and it’s less of a cycle and more of like just being old and losing your mind. That’s what most people take away, at least.
Self titled is my fav album by them not because of the lyrics, but the atmosphere and the fact it’s a first thing and it’s all piano just kinda makes me like it
You took Addict With a Pen as a religious statement? Huh. I took it differently. I thought the water represented happiness and the sand is his depression slowing him down. Anyways, I'll go home-
I personally enjoy Addict With A Pen but it definitely is way better live IMO. I think that has a lot to do with the fact this album came out back in 2009 (long before Vessel or Blurryface ever came to be and before getting a record label deal) and as the saying goes..."practice makes perfect".....or in many cases better ;). Plus you can always hear the emotion in Tyler's voice when he sings it live due to the context of the song and how personal it is to him. BTW thanks for being honest in your opinions on the songs/albums you've done of TOP. I don't agree with everything you have said but I do respect your honesty and how you actually explain the reasonings behind your opinions.
would you consider doing their "pre vessel/record label" album Regional At Best even though half is the original vessel songs but stylistically different.
I am going to say everything good about your channel in my opinion. So for one your opinions are very educated and I love that. I also like that you don't just praise nor do you just hate on an artist. a lot of people who react to music just praise an artist and give no criticism so I admire that your not afraid to tear apart a song or album for being bad. I love that no matter how you feel about an artist or their fanbase you always go into albums and songs with an open mind. I am a huge top stan and honestly, those hate comments from probably the blurryface clique are honestly embarrassing and funny at the same time. speaking or funny your edits are funny as hell. anyways keep up the good work love your vids. I think one thing that might be a bad thing that you kinda just mean sometimes but when it comes to the type of videos you make it kind of works and mixed with your edits and makes it funny.
I fully support your awesome review, but! this was the first album that they made, and here at 4:48 you say "they haven't improved" just to let you and everyone else know, I love your channel and please do a vid on Kereo Kereo Bonito, keep up the good work dude 👍👍❤❤ (edit) Having watched 2 more secs i know see that you acknowledged it, and know, i typed all that for nothing, lmao
As a Christian who struggled with severe with depression for a long time, I love this album. However, for someome who I assume isn't religious, I get why the weight of a song like Addict With A Pen might be boring to you. Or Implicit Demand For Proof. Or Fall Away. Like I get why these songs are repetitive to you and kinda dumb. But I appreciate your analysis of the actual music. It's not perfect by any means. But a lot of these songs broke my heart and really gave me a lot of hope in some really dark times. Lol thanks for your honesty.
I love your reactions/reviews on tøp so much. Your points and opinions are easily intriguing and honest and funny (props to your editing, I laugh at that). I understand where you might be coming from, now that I’m actually thinking about it from a whole other perspective so thank you for that, and it’s really opened my mind tbh. Loved the video!!
I do respect your criticism and your judgement of the music. You are also very good at editing and have a great sense of humor. And before you guys go off on me, yes I know people have their own opinions. I personally love this album. I feel like that if you give twenty one pilots more of an open mind you might really love them. It just takes a while before you get the hang of the band and the mood. I also really love Tyler's voice in this album. He was young here too, and his voice has improved greatly since then. I know this band isn't for everyone, but try to keep an open mind.
As a MCR fan since 2005, it pisses me off when people compare this garbage to MCR. They have a couple of OK songs but they're not on the same level, not even close. 21 Pilots is the shitstain on MCR's shoes.
I think it’s hilarious how a majority of top fans fail to accept the Christian undertones to most of Tyler’s lyrics. They just purposely look past them lol
What’s crazy is how you’d say some things weren’t deep but they were. The water was religious as Jesus is the water of life. His water in his hand is him losing his faith, trying to go to the water & the drought is him missing his faith
Your videos are so interesting. Although I really love Twenty one Pilots I can see the points your making about their songs. I can definitely relate to your emotions at the end of Friend Please lmao.
I'm glad you are open about the things you dislike. It's nice because sometimes people are scared to say what they feel because fans think their idol is "perfect". I love them but obviously there are songs I don't enjoy. Anyway, liked the video and plan to watch more. x
You really want to get attacked by a fan base? Try criticizing BTS...
åpril hånson for real tho 😂😂
i agree xD you will get ripped to shreds if you barely poke them by the bloodthirsty fanbase of kpop
LMFAOO
Lol he would get slaughtered by just a population of BTS fans
Lmao true
i honestly really like the quirks in his voice but i can see how you don't like it
alpha goat yeah, and generally singers voices are never really good in their first album, just look at mcr 😂
Faye McGill04 bad example, bullets was a great album
The only one with raw and genuine screams and emotion
Only like the younger kids tend to dislike it tho so oh well
Øh Ms. Believer lol you’re the worst type of person
Kinetic Kid how so
Øh Ms. Believer bullets was terrible, three cheers was good, black parade was amazing, and danger days was bad/ok
for literally most of the video i was like
"as long as he likes friend please i will be satisfied"
my wish was granted
Same
SAME
well gee thanks for spoiling the video >:(
i personally love that you lowkey have a similar hair style to tyler lol
i get why you dont like it tbh. most of my enjoyment comes from the instrumental lol. it is my favorite tøp album. i get you tho fam
His face kinda looks like Tyler's too
Damn it he looks like Tyler now
He looks like him in general
More like similar face lol
"But the message is the whole point of the song. It doesn't matter how the songs sounds, because the sound doesn't change the message."
i'd like to disagree tbh, i mean you can look at music however you want, that's the beauty of it, but as a musician, lyrics don't change a song's impact for me. it's all about the music itself
@@reduke OP was making fun of the person that said that lol
We have different opinions on this album, but I do somewhat agree with you. I feel as with this album Tyler
tried to let out everything he was feeling at once. It did make the songs all over the place, but that’s what I love about it. It was a very experimental album, and I love listening to each song because they all sound so different. Love the video! Your so good at editing 😂 can I have lessons pls

ok, like another guy said in the comments you should do a serie where you go through an artist's discography
Brad Taste in Music You're really funny😂
you know he’s pleasantly surprised when he edits in rainbow strobe lights
there are a lot of definitions for pantaloon. and one of them is someone who is close to death. I think that's the definition they were going for
march to the sea is a metaphor for how he and many others think suicide is the only way, hence the “ocean graves”, but as he’s about to kill himself he realizes how many people care about him and how much he cares about them as well, aka the “spaceship”
cool story
my guess is that the spaceship is meant to be god
I don't feel the same about the album (I love it) and I'M sad you didn't like it (it was expected) but I respect your opinion and I kinda undestand what you'Re talking about not everybody loves Tyler's voice but maybe you would like regional at best :D but anyways thx for the reaction
Review a Panic at the Disco album I promise you it will pander to your new audience
I feel like he will shred them, lol. I do agree tho. I think he should do Vices and Virtues
Freckle Pie I would not care if he destroyed them or liked them all I care is that he would make a video on them
Nep Pool yeah same
I feel like you're half and half here. You like some aspects of the band and their music and that's totally okay. I love this album but if you don't, that's fine!

While I do love this album
You do have valid points
btw a Pantaloon is a foolish character written in for the sole purpose of dying
sllng glttr fr th plstr ouch...
Now I REALLY want you to react to Panic! At the Disco.....
It took years for me to truly understand what ‘Implicit Demand For Proof’ actually means, this album is great
I feel that the cover represents all of Tyler’s happiness leaving him and getting devoured by depression, anxiety and fears.
Seeing an opinion midway between those two extremes is nice.
why is brads explanation of the album cover so accurate to the post trench lore
2:20 '14 tracks... issa classic' Brad I love you
if the hood jam to it... classic 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm just satisfied that he liked Friend, Please. That's all I wanted. Now he can go rip on any song, doesn't matter if I love it or hate it. I'm happy. And it's funny when Brad does that, anyway
same
Why do i love this video so much when I don’t agree with you at all
ok, i'm a fan of them and iM ACTUALLY DYING THIS IS AMAZING
your fingers bend in a way that scares me to no end, brad
Hi brad hope youre doing well keep up the hard work love u
Will this be a series, where you go through an artist's discography you have heard, one project at a time?
Brad Taste in Music
Do it...
My dude...
I see "0/10" and I'm already triggered
But side note I appreciate your editing skills, I know that shit takes forever
My theory: In the end of the song of March To The Sea , Is that in the end you'd see that it said "So then you put me back in my place, So I might start another day" I THINK that mean that He got rejected, and by "I might start another day" IS that he will try to get up and look for someone that doesn't reject him, this verse of "And once again I will be, In a march to the sea" once again I think it might be that he failed to be loved, Tyler failed on not giving up and falling to the floor, same with the song air catcher.
again this is just what I think I could be completely wrong xd
Coming back to this video, why are people so angy?! I love when he memes around and is honest
Omg your 'spoken word solo' in Fall Away ;) that wad great. I actually love love love twenty one pilots. That being said, I also agree with a lot of your criticisms.
Oh my god I like twenty one pilots but who the actual fuck is so mental about them that they write u a fucking essay about it ahaha
16:11 IM JUST HAPPY BC HE LITERALLY PICKED OUT MY FAV TWENTY ONE PILOTS LYRIC EVER
3:28 I APPRECIATE YOUR AUDIO SAVVY-NESS. Subbed homie, keep up the good good.
Every video of Brad talking about Twenty One Pilots is: "Oh this song is kinda not so horrible" and then Tyler starts singing and dies of cringe
Can you please review Tyler Joseph' solo album "No Phun Intended"
the ironic thing is you kind of look like tyler sometimes. i'm a twenty one pilots fan myself but i absolutely love your reviews and understand your criticisms. you're so funny dude keep it up
OMG YESSS! I actually love your video’s and I’ve been really hyped for this one!
Btw that second definition of pantaloon is the correct one; it’s supposed to be like an old man who’s losing his sense and stuff, and it’s less of a cycle and more of like just being old and losing your mind. That’s what most people take away, at least.
Oh that's cool. It thought it was about hereditary illness, like schizophrenia or smth
Self titled is my fav album by them not because of the lyrics, but the atmosphere and the fact it’s a first thing and it’s all piano just kinda makes me like it
If you want a story to be invested in
Try "The Downward Spiral"
This album is really dark shit, but it's a hell of a concept album
By who?
@@farrahm9898 Nine Inch Nails
@@shilo.R.A that album is one of the bests works of the 90d
this is a certified hood classic
ayo it finally happened
Grrrrr I'm so angerey. Soooooo angerey grrrrrr. Why dont you like top. Grrrrrr 😡
You took Addict With a Pen as a religious statement? Huh. I took it differently. I thought the water represented happiness and the sand is his depression slowing him down. Anyways, I'll go home-
I think it's great that you and tyler joseph look very similiar
I would really like to see you react to some of panic at the disco's stuff
You actually got the meaning of the pantaloon closer than most people do
"Abuse grace."
Uhm, no, I don't want to be abused, thank you
I personally enjoy Addict With A Pen but it definitely is way better live IMO.
The edits you put in your videos are amazing.
I love your reactions. You give an honest opinion. You’re the best! Much love, Brad
Also, Sorry for your lost ❤️ May your dog Rest In Peace 😍
The Hopsin part murders me every time
Finally someone appreciates March to The Sea
My favorite TØP song
Oh yeah, thanks for exposing me to that Swans album. Now that it’s finally clicked for me I can’t stop listening to it lmao
His voice is a lot more raspy in his older music. And I see how you and many others might not enjoy it but personally I enjoy it.
would you consider doing their "pre vessel/record label" album Regional At Best even though half is the original vessel songs but stylistically different.
It's their best Album, also the original versions of the Vessels Songs are more fun.
@@notbanksy2977 umm Brad would disagree
*you got a sub*
I totally understand why you don’t like the music because of his voice, but that’s sort of why I like it
I am going to say everything good about your channel in my opinion.
I might not agree with every one of your points. But damn I love your content.
Okay but I can only pay attention to how fucking long his fingers look like wtf
Edit: Yo at 15:44 what is wrong with his thumb like oh my god
Whenever you like even one thing from the songs i am so hyped like yass unbiased funny person likes it! ☄😂
I fully support your awesome review, but! this was the first album that they made, and here at 4:48 you say "they haven't improved" just to let you and everyone else know, I love your channel and please do a vid on Kereo Kereo Bonito, keep up the good work dude
👍👍❤❤
(edit)
Having watched 2 more secs i know see that you acknowledged it, and know, i typed all that for nothing, lmao
The pantaloon was a song that had to grow on me
Tucker Graves the pantaloon shrunk more than grew on me
We have different opinions, but i just came to see your reaction of the rap part in Addict with a pen. It was worth it!!!
"freddie mercury's trashy voice" uM THAT IS NOT CORRECT
This is a year late, but EXACTLY. Like excuse me? He literally is known for his unique and amazing vocals.
Sydney Milligram i mean, she/he would kill her/his grandma, so there must be something wrong with this person...
@@pascal__vhs what?
鬼魂 in her comment she also wrote that she would rather kill her grandma than make fun of Twenty one pilots
@@pascal__vhs literally where LMFAO
21 Pilots is the shitstain on MCR's shoes.
i'm a twenty one pilots fan and I too, found "The Pantaloon" a little cringe-y
but then again it was from their FIRST album so yeah
I think it’s hilarious how a majority of top fans fail to accept the Christian undertones to most of Tyler’s lyrics. They just purposely look past them lol
16:20 I absolutely love how the sudden crescendo cut him off lmfao
Honestly I loved this video like the zooms and stuff were hilarious
Lmao if he hates *this,* I'd love to hear him react to NPI.
Anyway, liked the video and plan to watch more. x
