- The Executive Committee of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) announced that actor Dileep, who has been accused of masterminding the abduction and sexual assault of a prominent woman actor, has tendered his resignation from the organisation.
AMMA President Mohanlal at a press conference in Kochi on Friday said that he had personally called Dileep, and asked him to tender his resignation. "He readily gave it and his resignation was accepted," Mohanlal said.

This meeting just proves that the victim was right to have resigned from this organization. The organization had to ask for resignation after so much of halla balla from the women. They didn’t feel the need to do what was right, right away. I don’t think it would be fair to blame it all on Mohanlal, as the issue began when the President was actor Innocent. As an organization, they failed to provide justice for the victim, and have been constantly belittled who have pointed out their mistakes.
I think KPAC Lalitha, and Kukku Parameswaran has lost their ability to serve women by their actions on this issue. I think any victim would hesitate to tell them anything because of their views.
Look as a president he is responsible for every action. Why did they delay Dileep to "resign" n the president says because it became a "problem" so he had to?? Wtf

The victims and other 4 who resigned they need to apologise and then a procedure will be followed which will take a long time to reinstate their membership in AMMA.And even then it is not sure whether they will get job or not becoz of so called politics going on.They left becz they didn't have faith in that fu....d all organisation and that means this organisation failed in first place to work for which it was founded.These are the ways for humiliating those who resigned.In fact the members should apologise to them and welcome them back with open hearts. If they apologize they will have to give up their self respect and accept that they were wrong ....so no human being is going to do that whether he/she gets job or not.
That kutta Dileep was reinstated after Mohanlal became the president and the reason is the procedures were not followed.Waah I don't understand what fucked all thought process and decision making they possess.Now with great respect that bastard resigned on his own and they accepted it.
Does the body even understand what trauma the victim has to go through and being an actress she has to struggle so much to get justice,had it been a normal girl then we can't even imagine what would hv happened.
