So it is a headset only, which is why I didn't go into software as that is not by this company. You have to use your software on your phone like Google Cardboard.

part of the video will be blocked and your eyes won't be able to focus on the picture....basically it does nothing for you in that aspect. If you want a movie theater experience you need to use one of the apps that is designed to do that.

No, I don't think amazon cardboard had apps to support that. You use your phone with this device, but I have since upgraded to an oculus which you can use those apps with that device.

I agree with a lot of this, but having its own LCD panels would make it expensive. The concept is u use your phone vs a stand alone vr product. It's like a fancy version of Google cardboard.

No, I don't think amazon cardboard had apps to support that. You use your phone with this device, but I have since upgraded to an oculus which you can use those apps with that device.
How headphones work
They only work if your phone has a headphone jack...which most phones don't have anymore. I just had the sound play out of the phone.
