people who make VR videos to watch on youtube should actually give you at least 10 seconds for inserting your phone and plugging in the audio since many of these VR sets come with fixed ear pieces with surprisingly good sound quality. But the little coiled wire forces you to insert your phone only one way
@@Cloxxki it's simply better, it's samsung+oculus work. better crystals and its own gyroscope, it doesn't use phone's gyro because of its slow response time
Thanks for your input. You have a different set of requirements for what makes the headset useful than I do. My main concern is the ability to focus and adjust the eye pieces. I wear trifocals and having the z-axis adjustment for focus is a MUST. The adjustable eye pieces also ads to my ability to see stereo images. Secondly, I am using earbuds for stereo sound. They wirelessly connect to the phone so no wires needed. I will keep looking for something better than the sub $50 I currently have.
I thought the Google Daydream view was perfect for the phone conversion vr. It came with a remote, it was comfortable and all that. worked right out of the box.
What i want to know is if you can watch recorded video's from your phone's gallery .. my samsung gear vr just went out 👎🏽 .. so i'm looking for a vr that i can use to watch video's from the gallery in my phone .. i have the quest 2 for everything else .. just need a vr to look at video'a in my gallery .. if someone can answer that .. thank you much
Excellent review video. I don't know much about VR to buy as i am new to the concept or genre and this video is a lot more informative about particulars of these devices and doesn't SEEM to be slick sponsored like other review videos about the product its a just a good ol fashioned personal review of the product. What im looking for good vr headsets on budget for a android moto g stylus 5g phone that has good apps that works with the headsets cause we have heard AND seen too many horror stories about that. about buy one of these products. but thanks anyways for putting this review here on TH-cam.
Get a standalone headset brother, these seem cool but the control sucks. Quest or Pico are wireless, have a pair of controllers, standalone and ready to go out the box and you don't tie up your phone

Are there any single (rather than stereo) box headsets? I have a DJI Mini 2SE which is not compatible with VR FPV apps for DJI that split the screen. Only option is single lens headsets but the only one available is DroneMask at $200US. Way overpriced so looking for alternatives.
The biggest problem is there isn't any VR support for any Samsung smartphones since the S10. it's impossible to load a VR APK as far as I've discovered.. I kept my Note 8 and my Gear VR which still works mostly. some games and apps no longer log into services but the 1 big important feature still works, VR Desktop. I can also still watch Prime, Netflix You Tube and lots of other things with it.
I forgot lol,if you have another phone you can have motion tracking. So at least 3 phones for proper vr and 4 phones for even better vr. With only a headset you can play games and use a controller.
I don't even use Netflix or the like, but it seems fun to play some TH-cam content on it, perhaps even film some of my own. Seemingly decent ones are just over 10 Euros. Can a Bluetooth mouse replace the remote?
@@Cloxxki As long as it works on your phone. The glasses literally turns what is on your phone screen into 3D. It does that by duplicating what is on your screen, and the lenses on the device align in a way that allows you to see it in 3D. If you have ever seen a view master, it is the same concept, just high tech. So anything that works on your phone will work here, as it is really your phone doing all the work.

What about the field view? I think it's the main difference between cheap glasses and Samsung, referring to immersion

Yes you can I routinely rip my Blu-Ray 3Ds, reduce the size with Handbrake for my Samsung A13, and, upload the video via the connection port.
To watch videos or photos, you need to install VR app first and watch videos or photos in your gallery from there. .

Yup it works. You just gotta use software like Trinus VR.
