- I decided to play a troll level titled: 'Every TROLL's a Chance For Glory' made by Kyle G. What ensued was one of the strangest journey's I've experienced in Mario Maker 2.

True Ending: The "level code" in the description was a troll all along to convince the player to exit the level and play it again.
To elaborate for anyone curious, M0NCLTZKNy1WWUc= is Base64 for 3CB-6J7-VYG EDIT: I guess he covered that in the video.
I doubt the level ever existed because, like Dave said, it would just be a message to the player that they CP0ed themselves. That probably wouldn't get taken down?

I mean, he could have finished the level before checking the base 64... there was no reason to quit.

I'm surprised the video title wasn't: "I softlock myself twice in the same spot in this level."
Also that level code was for an Uno Mas level that you had to duck in order to be pushed into the axe by a launcher.
So was it just deleted then?
Correct me if I'm wrong because I didn't check myself, but I think that's because Dave has been dumb enough to not wrire the = at the end of the site that translated into 64 code
He probably tought it was like "An indicator" if we can call it like that

@@Djinnistorm no, he deleted a part from the code and didn't put it back. He broke the code as a result. Whether the code works when not broken or what, I can't say since I don't have SMM2, but if you want, I can grab the fixed code.
Okay, I fixed the encoded Base 64 message, and the Decoder Compensated for the removed equal sign, so as far as I can tell despite DGR screwing up the Base 64 code itself, he managed to dodge a bullet with that. That said either the level no longer exists or has been set to private, possibly for the sake of it being potentially pointless since if you play the level you'd find out accidentally.

If you think about it, the first level took a lot of dedication. I’m assuming that the clear rate was fabricated, which must have taken a long time.
lol so that's what that suspicious spike was for in the very beginning of the level - to up the death rate as quickly as possible.

5:07 Too bad the "=" padding immediately told me this was base64... They should have put some characters behind it to align the UTF-8 with 6 byte encoding.
Worth noting he completely missed entering said equals sign when decoding it, then complained that the code was gone. No, it was just a different code.

LOL, even before the start of the level I noticed the description stank like base64(recognizeable by ending in a =), decoded it and saw a level id pop out
He missed the equals sign when he was decoding it too.
That intro was actually god tier. I love how varied they are. This was amazing.
Having your close friends and family ask you about your biggest regrets in life seems to be a pretty cruel deathbed experience.
That softlock dance is so funny to look at. I'm not sure the level creator would bother fixing that.

Nice, the level meta-troll reminds me of an earlier level by Piano Man called Escape Puzzle: The Rabbit Hole. LJ7-C5Y-NXF if it's still up. It used a similar base 64 trick to get people to look up something online for the solution.
I remember someone once saying "someone should make a #DGR troll level, but it's just a regular level and the troll is that it isn't a troll"
