- Tried to do the no coin challenge again on Normal mode. If I collect a single coin, then the run is completely over. Normal definitely steps it up when it comes to this challenge. Very interesting how it will be with Expert and Super Expert difficulties.

Great idea! I was thinking of instead of the run ending, each coin collected would be a loss of 1 life. That's good thinking though. Hopefully he reads this and can make a change of 2. Panga has been coming up with a lot of fun stuff lately
I like the idea, it also allows more diversity in the general challenge.
But that isn't really the point of the challenge
would be cool to just have him reset the coin counter in the level. so he has to collect 100 coins so the coin counter goes to 0 again so the main screen remains at 0

How about this: you have to end the level with a 00 coin counter. So if you grab a coin, it's not game over but instead you have to try to collect exactly 99 other coins
Hey Panga, you should change the rules up a bit. Instead of the run ending if you collect a coin, have every coin you collect be a loss of 1 life. So if you have 8 lives and you collect 3 coins for example, just die a few times at the start of the next level; that way you'll have 5 lives still remaining.
With each coin being a lost life, you can even play on expert, or have your normal runs last longer. I think it will create more suspense that way rather than the run just ending over something that is unavoidable. Love the new ideas though, and appreciate all the content! Thanks for all that you do. I'm proud to be a subscriber

PangaeaPanga, the point behind this challenge is great, but I think there should be some modification to make it better.
It's cool to have suspense as you don't know when you're about to hit a coin, which, as in this video and the previous ones, result in the end of the run.
Thing is that suspense is great at first, but as time goes on, you can't get very far that way, because it only comes to the random level flow.
The results? You end up putting a lot of efforts to go further, not necessarily giving everybody what we want, which is for you to achieve infinity with a literally poor Mario character.
Secondly, I don't get why you would end a run over a single level. The run is made coinless, but ended so abruptly over a detail. Why not restarting the level to try and beat it coinless, instead of ending it all? éi could be impressive to see you complete a level coinless when it seems impossible.

You should try Endless Expert, but the only way to get 1-ups is by getting 100 coins: If you get a real 1-up, you have to die once, up to 3 times per level.
You don't have to like the comment, but please do, as I want him to see the comment. I feel like this is an interesting way to play the game and wanted to see someone that is better than me do it.
