That's pretty much what I thought of mine before I sold it. The trigger needs a lot of work. It seems all they did was take the msg disconnector out and put a flat trigger in. I might buy this gun again later when the shorter version of the Match with the optic cut comes out and can send it off to MK3 for their single stage trigger job and getting their faceting/stipple job on the front and backstraps.
I really don't mind the trigger. Mine pulls 4lb. 6oz. average and is pretty clean. It's weird that they all have the same front sight defect. Mine oddly did not fall out from shooting but I was able to easily flick it out with my fingernail. Easy fix. (the fiber is 1.5mm diameter for anyone who cares) I also feel like the grips are plenty good for a 9mm pistol. I don't need to change a thing. MecGar sells 15 round BHP magazines that work great and are not too pricey.
@@rdrgear NOT A SUB $500 dollar gun bro, doesn't matter if you found one for that price or not. That is not what the market is selling them for. More like sub $600.
My front fiber optic has fallen out all 5 times I've taken the gun out. EEA is really no help. Gun shop has ordered a whole new front sight to replace it.
@@andreyavich We think either they drill the hole out too big or there's a something sharp on it. I'm having a whole different site put on tired of messing with it.
Less than stellar trigger & multiple complaints in the comments about the fiber optic falling out. Thinking I'll wait for them to address those issues before I'd buy one
@Trae UCity it's 2023. An optics cut slide is almost mandatory at this point. Especially for the price of this gun it would be nice to have the OPTION. nobody said anything about anyone's ability to do anything. Idk why you felt the need to go there like that made any fuckin sense

I agree with how beautiful and well-made it is. I replaced my barrel with a Brownell's barrel. Original wasn't accurate at all.

you can buy this exact model with the optics cut.....but I think an optics on a 90 year old pistol like a HI-Power is blasphemous.
On an actual high power i 100% agree. On a clone gun, do as you wish. It’s just a fun range gun at that point.
