Playing as a bruiser really showcases the point of being willing to “fight anything” when you’re ahead and on spikes, but what should your mentality be when you’re playing an assassin who has to pick their engages more carefully, like Rengar? Someone with little sustain and no escapes
Either you change your champion for a better one, or be more selective in which game you wanna play this champion. Rengar for example, its not playable in EVERY game, the ability to choose well in the champion select its important too!

This is actually helpful. I think that s lot of people need to watch this. I see it a lot in my games that one lane gets gapped while others in the team are ahead. Then they blame that laner when they lose, and while it's fair to say that they made the game much hardere to be won, it's the 4/0 guy on their team that actually wasted his lead and threw the game.
It's too bad low elo players don't realize that you can catch back up or even match your deficit as long as you keep farming gold and xp and stop dying with long respawn timers The macro game understanding in low elo is horrendous
I started league 2 years ago and otp jungle vi 80% of the time. U lifted a shadow off my vision and explained some fundamentals better than anywhere else. Thx!
Your content has comfortably helped me swapped from support to jungle. Still very low elo, but I feel like I have a lot more agency over my games now, and these recent videos have helped give my games some more structure. Easy sub.
Hi Perry I've found great success in the jungle after learning a bit from you and putting it into practice! Thanks for the videos brother man. I'm learning so much
this is most prevelant on bel'veth. I'm all for invading and ganking like a psycopath, but if you can finish 2 full clears (I think) and a scuttle before grubs you can get 6 during grubs which is op.
Funny you should say about taking minions waves being scary. I'm in bronze, mid lane asol dies, enemy mid has a decent freeze going. So I step in, clear it while asol is at base. Asol mental booms because I took some minions he would never reach in a million years. Asol quits lol
This is how I got from bronze to gold so far just yorick jungle power farm 6 and force fights at dragon + voidlings, also running demolisher cuz yorick such a powerful split push with blue jg item I can sprint through the forest so fast to split push lanes it’s won me multiple games that were heavily lost in all lanes
Yet another Eye Opener ! Thanks @Perryjg! GREAT STUFF! The more I see tutorials like these, the more I shy away from skill-capped/ Proguides etc. Subbed, Liked, and hit that bell notif!
Exactly what I was going to ask. Nobody seems to care about this important detail. I only play Nidalee in the jungle, and I can tell you, this doesn’t apply in Platinium 3/2, or partly I’d say. The amount of risk you can take as Volibear is not the same that as Nidalee.
took 1 cs from a rumble to push outer t1 and he rage afk'd for the rest of the game and said 'bad team' (we had soul point and broke every tower on the map at like 15-16 mins besides t3's) 😭 we were also up 8k gold at the time
really like these guides, I've learned lots of what to do as jungler (never played jungle ever) however i'm struggling when it comes to enemy junglers invading could you perhaps make a video regarding these scenarios?
Normally, you'd either invade the opposite of the map yourself, or you'd make a play on the opposite side of the map. If it's at the start of the game, you start the opposite of your jungle.
i really like how u carried the game even tho your team was trolling mf was bad and ekko was most of the time top and shen was doing the bauff things but u actually played a game perfectly and made it seems so normal but its really impressive even a diamond player cant win a game like that
Sorry if this has been asked but do you cover which side to start your clear from and ward placement early game to protect from invades? Amazing stuff bro 🙌🏼
MF really desrved that death on the first drake simply because he overstood on the lane after the kills to get one irellevant plate from the tower instead of helping the jungler to secure the drake faster and play for tempo
Okey, so I've been a challenger five times and have been boosting and coaching for roughly two years. I don't see any reason for not going to the gank bot while you wait for the crab after the first clear... i guess he's trying to make a point that you don't "have" to gank?
Ya but voli has one of the fastest clear and will get to skuttle at level 4 before the enemy. What about jungles like warwick that have slower clear times. Is it worth it to look for ganks level 3 or just clear knowing you will not be able to contest skuttle
@perryjg How do you lift games in higher elo D4-Low Masters. Where the ego is inflated and if you don't gank early your own teammates become the enemy team?

ok but how to win if enemy shaco jgl is 10/0 before ur lvl 5 and at that point your mid varus starts following you around the jgl for the rest of the game using Q to lasthit every single jgl camp you are trying to take? (this happened the first time i tried this strat) (i pinged every shaco gank 5-10sec before the gank happened and often shaco was actually visible on the river ward running towards a lane but my teammates wouldn't care at all)
I understand your thoughts of title BUT low elo players will take this so literally that they think this is something they are supposed to do every single game. Helpful to smart junglers, super not helpful to inexperienced junglers. Also, raptors drugs red wolves group blue I see Mr broxah do this alot.
Love your vids man ! That being said I don't find it very nice from you to flame low elo players while you are smurfing, they are literally still discovering the game, play that would seem obvious for you are not to them.
I am emerald 3 and playing udyr outfarming enemy yi by invading etc. While I was 9 he was near to 7. Do I stop also farming and go for ganks or is it a different case on udyr since his strength is so experience related. I had no ideas how I could won it I exactly did everything at spawn. But mid game I kinda felt lost. Should I pressure sides with 6 grubs. But never had really pressure to do so since adc died every second with 90 cs in 30 min how can I keep pressure when one is always dying and can't siege due to that.
Past the first gank the video is a bit worthless, and a lot of the things you are saying are wrong. They are correct if you have the context. But without the context, worthless. The context being ... "when you have your items, fight everything" and almost everything you say about fighting (not objectives, that part is solid) is in the context of you being 12/1 and like 4k gold if not more ahead of almost everyone on the enemy team. If you wasted your mobility on someone, but then had nothing for Jhin, 1v3 you'd be smoked. And a lot of the situations presented in this vid aren't what regular low elo looks like. OFC, in some matches you have a laner that isn't complete garbage. But a lot of your power spikes came from MF not being brain dead. Some very good ults. So to recap, the good points: 1. Power spikes, item spike, level spike. Level 6 spike is big for SOME heroes. But like, udyr is much stronger at 4. So it's not a global rule. 2. Farming vs pressure 3. Enemy jungler position and lane prio 4. Everything you said about objectives. But the tips on fighting ... eh, not good. Need context. Debatable. Like when you lost the dragon. Obviously everyone was coming. You're not a shivana that can MELT dragons. Low dmg, everyone coming in. Ecco top, shen is useless. You're too busy, MF can't find a safe position because you can't position because the draogn. Also at min 5:30 to 6:00, you just got lucky. That could have ended quite badly and completely put you on a different tempo. What then? I can see a lot of people taking this advice without understanding how much your item and level advantage means. Not to mention that not all champs can build mainly tank and still be as scarry as volibear. You're not gonna do that stuff on an Evelyn. But you could easily on Hecarim.
