It's awesome to see these harder games. Seeing how great players do even when playing very hard games is the greatest for learning, I feel.

Additional to camp timers pro players also always have oven timers in mind. Good thing that from base to oven is aproximately the same time as going to ur krugs
It’s so hard to keep this disciplined jungle style in bronze with a fiesta happening everywhere every time all at once
It’s all your ability to 1v9. Look how Yi can run down bot lane and their team has crazy teamfight. Perry still looks calm af and keep farming so he can 1v9, which I guess differentiate challenger and all of us below lol
Random invades do happen quite a bit in bronze, you just have to know when to retreat and trade camps opposite map. For example vs the typical invading bronze shaco, just run away and take other camps.
It’s actually easiest to maintain in bronze (very low elo) . People are tunneled on what’s happening so you usually get to maintain consistent reliable income by focusing while they inherently fall behind

Crazy to see how calm you are even when your bot is squishy and they have a Yi and enemy has huge teamfight potential. Shows how confident you are at understanding the game and confidence in your ability to 1v9 by getting yourself fed. Love this one

My question is: why would anyone invade early? From the Yi’s perspective, he fell far behind in CS and only stayed relevant with a few early kills.
If he doesn’t pick up those kills, that level 1-3 was like a death sentence. I don’t see the appeal in invading level 1.
it's not good but generally if you are able to cheese invade (smite steal and kill), you can track enemy jungle forever, perma invading and they can't play the game. You can't just cheese level 1 invade only, you have to keep cheesing or you might as well have been farming ur own camps. it's hard to pull off though need lane prio or like perry did sometimes in this game, evaluating when enemy laner wants to recall soon.

could you do a lesson for choosing which lane to path to? I find that CC is a general rule that can be followed but sometimes its a little more confusing because maybe there is no CC so then who do I path for.
He advises pathing bot 90-95% of games
he paths to the lane that has the most chances to carry the game, that way you also help them win lane and if they win lane they will help you make the objective on that side. Since counter matchup on toplane is a much bigger issue than in botlane, adc + supp is the biggest damage dealer in most games and dragon soul is always better than grubs and/or herald, he almost always choses to path bot.
The only times he paths topside is when bot is useless from the get go AND toplane can actually impact the game, i guess something like renekton vs yasuo matchup on toplane and xayah lulu vs cait lux botlane. Even then, if something indicates that xayah lulu has the slightest chances to do anything, i would drop topside since adc is so much better at carrying games nowadays.

is it really that good to counter invade? I would just clear my camps, maybe steal enemy red and then recall to protect my topside, while yi will have lvl 1 camps at bot. He will be down in tempo and will go to bot to lvl 1 camps or wait for his topside camps to spawn
he did exactly what you're saying but instead of stealing just red he stole the 3 camps, or maybe i missunderstood what you said?
protecting is stupid by the time he clear all your camp if you clear all of his your topside will respawn by then. So you're still on tempo, here yi actually lose tempo since his camps will be down so he force ganked and late recall iirc so overall perry did a perfect move
