you are a breath of fresh air from beautiful, windy Wyoming. I am an 89 year old 12 string guitar player in Nashville. Your music is real, a wonderful change from the over produced, artificial, soulless stuff that masquerades aa music today. A heartfelt thank you for your sharing.
I'm going to have to stop in Nashville on my way back home to Montana for what I left there in storage. And I "play" the same guitar as this lovely lady 😉

How long is a new beginning? I used to think not very long ago; but I have been in a new beginning phase now for 3 years. We lost my husband 3 years ago in June. We were married 36 years and together 37. It was hard to go from being half of a team to just me. It was the scariest thing I have ever faced. I walked my husband through some hard times, stopped his treatment so he could remain with us and out in nature.
I went on my first vacation alone to visit some old friends and to spread some ashes in one of our favorite spots. I prepared my home to be sold, nursed my mother through Parkinson’s and said goodbye 18 months after my husband. The house preparations took a year. I moved 2 years after my husband passed. I was injured and required 2 separate surgeries. I moved and spent a year in recovery. I sold the house, bought a car, and a house. Now I’min the process of moving into my new home.
It’s been one big new beginning or maybe a bunch of little ones.

I love those animals at peace just doin’ what they do. Always loved tending the work and hearing cows pullin’ grass and chewin’. I watch them too. Not able to do as much as I once did either. I had the wild blue yonder all my life, had to give it up, didn’t have the financial to keep it with no help. Raised up find simple things to entertain yourself and do something productive while you hear the earth, see it - it’s enough.
