Please get your hands insured. I know it sounds crazy. But also preserve your back. Consider getting a standing desk and Ergonomic chair that allows you to sit on your knees. Look it up. Cuidate. People don't value transparency, quality, and effort. They love to complain but support companies that don't follow labor laws and have children make their things.
As a boutique owner, even wholesale isn't cheap. If you want quality pieces they're going to be expensive which means you have to price them at an expensive price as well. You get what you pay for! I used to feel the same way at first but someone is going to buy it. Those who complain & don't understand, don't really matter :) so happy your shop is doing well!

You are EXACTLY right. Your prices are right on to me since the pieces are HAND MADE. And unique for that matter. And a lot of love and labor goes into each piece. I have to say again, I love the tote bag....have 3 and want to buy more. Your stuff is beautiful Nat and I hope you continue to have the success you are having now..be well.

I'm on a tight budget right now, but I cannot wait for the day when I can purchase your lovely pieces! I've been a long time subscriber of yours, back when you use to vlog about your pageant days & etc. I say all this to say that seeing you grow through the years into a whole brand & a business woman is very inspiring! I myself used to crochet, me and my sister and I know all the hours and hard work that goes into each piece. But then on top of that you having to market, photograph it, make sure the website is right, customer service & etc.... You are totally right in charging what you're worth! You hit the nail on the head with Zara versus custom/handmade pieces. You have a fast fashion / high volume company vs a small business. Yes, a company that mass produces items will be able to price lower because of quality and quantity. But a small business doesn’t always have that. People making the comments about being able to buy something cheaper else where just aren’t your customers. That had taken me a bit to realize it and not to be as hurt. If someone really likes your item, they should be willing to pay whatever you price it as. There are makers who also underprice/underpay themselves. You are doing great!! Keep it up!

I totally understand what you are saying when you talked about the time, effort, and money you put in to do what you do. Making my own jewelry is time consuming and the associated costs are definitely not cheap. Anyways, don't stop keep at it.
