I had all As in all four years of high school and took the AP courses I mentioned! However, course rigor differs by school to school, which is why I didn’t put it in the video!
Can you do a video on your college essays? Or even if you listed your essays on Application Bee or Admit Yogi, I would buy them in a heartbeat... I need inspiration so bad and Princeton is my dream school 😭
For me the nerves are hitting hard, my EC's and awards feel terrible in comparison to yours. Princeton/Columbia are my top two choices, and I'm really concerned that, even with my good stats, I won't be able to get in the door.

You got this! You never really know until you're put into that applicant pool. Now that I am here at Princeton, I've met a variety of people from many different backgrounds, so don't discourage yourself before it's even started! Try your best and work on your application and I'll be praying that you get the best results!

Congratulations! I loved this video and felt like I could relate a lot to it in terms of your Extracurriculars/academic rigor, and I was overwhelmed about honors but have a general idea of how that works now. I just had a quick question if not already mentioned, did you take a foreign language all 4 years of hs? I'm a rising junior and have a rigorous workload and was wondering if I should continue taking a language or not.
I took 3 years of Spanish - took a break during my junior year and then continued with AP Spanish Lang in my senior year. I think taking a language is really underrated for colleges, so I would definitely recommend taking a language!!
@@JKimzzle I actually really like this idea and might consider doing this instead since in my school Spanish starts in 7th grade so I've technically already done 4 years of Spanish, and, because of the crazy classes I'm taking I think it will be good to take it again senior year. Nice! Opinions on founding a successful startup? I was thinking of creating a mobile/web app based music education platform. I guess it would help my story because I’m interested in Activism and I would be making a positive impact?
I’m not sure how this calories to research (which I plan on emailing professors eventually for) and also not sure if ISEF is worth it especially for cs!
In my opinion, ISEF is definitely worth it! It’s the biggest science fair in the world and being even a part of it as a finalist is great experience. I’m not sure about the story and the startup as I don’t know your application and do not have much experience in starting that field and such, but if you believe it reflects your passions, then you will probably be able to find a way to connect it through your essays.

Congratulations! I'm really interested in attending Princeton, but most of my EC activities are from Junior year. Do you think that I can make up for it by having really high quality EC activities?
I think that’s the case for most people, at least it was for me. Most of my ECs were from junior year so I think it should be fine. I think the thing to watch out for is if you crunch all your ECs into your senior year, which makes it seem like you’re only doing them for colleges rather than your passion. Hopefully this helps and good luck on your college application process!

It was a 4.0 (unweighted), unweighted is the only thing that really matters since colleges recalculate the GPA

I would love to answer your question! However, sharing these opportunities and the way to secure positions in them is a big part of my college consulting (college planning). Therefore, I feel a bit uncomfortable sharing that information in a TH-cam comment section. Sorry about that and I hope you understand. However, I would love to answer any other questions you might have!
