Good evening! You did a great job with academics and your extracurriculars! That is really impressive! I am in my third year as a sophomore student from a 2-year college for right now. That was why it took me time to complete with my freshman year college credits. I had to do little by little due to my military move because my dad’s military. He is technically stepdad but I always call him dad because I grew up with him. I am 24 years old. Will be earning my AA degree in General Ed next semester. After I complete with my AA degree in General Ed, I will be earning training in acting because it is something I am very passion about. Acting was my dream career at a young age. However, I did not have the possibilities to do it because I had to switch schools from state to state for another 2 to 3 years. In high school, I also had to switch schools from state to state for another year. I have been to 6 different elementary schools, 2 different middle schools, 4 different high schools, and 3 different community colleges. I was diagnosed with autism at age 3. It was before I went to preschool. I grew up with Individual Education Plan (IEP) during my school years. In high school, I was mostly in mainstream classes with one-on-one assistant for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. From 10th and 11th grade, I had to take some courses to learn about a job in real life. I have been taking coping skills, life skills, vocational skills, basic math, study skills, economics, personal finance, and business. Also, I was in social skills group. In 11th grade, I was mostly with general Ed students. Those were my pathways for completed my high school career. I have been through a lot changes during high school. In high school, I was a top 10% of my graduation class. I graduated from high school with a 3.7 as cumulative my grade point average. I did a volunteer work for shredded papers in 11th grade because I did training for a job. Also, I have stamped books. I was with one-on-one assistant as well! I was born in the city of Buffalo in New York. I lived there in my early childhood until age 5. I was in kindergarten for my first time being in a military move. I lived in three different states for 3 years. Matter of fact, I lived in Virginia for 6 to 7 months, and I lived in Puerto Rico for a year. I lived in two different states for 2 years. I am working on my book which is called my life throughout with autism and being a military child. I have been working at it for 2 years after the pandemic came. For right now, I am working on my second book. Once I get my AA degree, I will include my 2-year college graduation on my first book. Then, I will have it ready to publish on Amazon. If I do with the company, it might be too expensive. I do know from Amazon is very cheaper. If you want to know which states I lived in before, my book will be ready to publish on Amazon. Again, I really enjoyed watching your video so much. Your video has been really inspired to me. After I receive training in acting, I will be earning my BA degree in journalism from a 4-year college while minoring in business to help with my journalism and acting career. My bio parents are from Puerto Rico, and my stepdad is from Colombia. I have a young brother in my mom’s side. I have four younger sisters and one baby brother in my bio dad’s side. My stepdad just had his second MA degree in management from this past spring semester in June. He has always been a great studier just like me. My stepdad studied too much haha. That is what he liked to do. Also, I liked to study. I like to read books during my free time as well! I have been studying at a 2-year college for 7 years. I have qualified for disability services because I need more time to read the questions on my quizzes and exams. I used to be good with math and science in high school. For right now, I am into reading and history in college. I really am good at it. However, I just need to be more clear of what I am saying in writing, so the reader will understand of I am talking about. My dream career is to be a journalist and actor on television. So, I am trying to comprehend the reading in the upper levels. Journalism is what I am passion on as well! Everyone has their own pace of their education. My name is Andres by the way. It is pleasure to meet you, Kyle! You did a great job with the video. Good luck with everything you do! God bless you and your family. 🙏
Tigers I am sorry I think about only myself and sororities first I know that you care and I have heart enough to stand on my own to feet building up my first college I ever entered into ever my entire life. I love Princeton University Ivy League with all my heart. I care about my hometown.
hi 9th grade 76 10th grade 95 11th grade 96 12th grade 97 these are my gpa um i have a question what do you think Will the colleges look very much on the note I got on freshman? because i know it’s really bad but i have good extracurricular for example volunteer at hospital i join neuroscience club i join biyo medical genetic club (it’s really great because we learn to do medicine and experience at lab) i’m tennis player I joined the club with young people and i join losev (institution that helps kids with losemia) i guess that’s all i literally want to accept upenn or cornell or any great college in us btw i wanna study biology or idk premed sorry for my english :(
Hi , ( don’t want to be offensive ) but judging from your name you look like you speak Spanish a bit better than English . If you want I can also speak fluent Spanish with you . Although it may have been better to have gotten higher grades in 9th grades . Don’t stress so much !! Some colleges don’t even look at 9th grade . This may actually be good for you since you started with a 76 and have gotten much better throughout high school . It shows that you have improved and are doing your best work right now . Also , you have good extracurriculars but you say that you have only joined many of the clubs that you have listed . Unless you are a leader , have been doing the extracurricular for a long time or are really passionate about it , then colleges won’t really care as much as you think they would. Make sure not to do anything you don’t like just to get into a college . Colleges prefer if you show them that you love doing something cause you love it instead of doing it to impress everyone . If you can take the sat/act , make sure you have a high enough score to be considered for the best schools . But DO NOT stress over getting a perfect score , have fun . Also , find something you love or continue to do that thing you love . Most of all relax and make sure to be on top of your college application process , not just the grades , awards , sat scores etc. Take care man
Türksun galiba, 9.sinifa giden biri olarak şöyle cevap vereyim ortalaman gerçekten istenilen limitin altında ancak diğer senelerinde istenilen limite çıkartmissin yükselen bir not ortalaması grafiği , işini kolaylaştırabilir ve bu ortalamalara baktigimiz zaman 9.sinifta herhangi not ortalamana sebebiyet verecek bir olay mi yaşadın, yoksa sadece kötü bir dönem mıydı?
I want to get into Princeton University so bad… the only problem is I grew up with a life that really made school tough for me. Not being able to focus, not thinking I had a future which led to not caring about school… i’m going into Sophomore year regretting everything I did in my past years of school.
Dont worry, sophomore year is not late to make change. Schools look at how you improve over the years too. Take as many AP classes as you can manage. Most schools only start offering most AP classes at Junior year anyways
very helpful in addition to being very bright insightful & talented you exude so much calm & spirit. best of luck to you !
loved your video. Great job! Well deserved!
Well explained thank you

If you're now focused you can change stuff. Don't focus on the past. Focus on what you want to achieve henceforth.
