I'm thinking of the visually impaired audience that might be potentially interested in the information you share.
Every time you show a product to the camera and refer to it as "this" or "this cleanser" it'll be confusing to those who can only listen. I guess it takes more time and effort to refer to the products by their name (especially if you talk about more than one product in the same video), but it'll be helpful and more inclusive to do so.

i have active acne and some discoloration and was wondering which face wash would be better. i also just started using glycolic acid toner from the ordinary is it okay to use with either face washes? i just want better, even skin

The old one was my go to, kept my skin smooth & acne at bay as much as it could. I used the new one & it gave me all new breakouts as if I was a teen again…. I think it’s purging but idk if it’s worth continuing till it clears

I have combination skin but more on the dry side. I have lots of blackheads and bumps on my skin so I wanted to try one of them but I have some questions:
1- which is the best for me?
2- can I use it if I use BHA salicylic acid ? I still didn’t get one but I’ve been planning to so I wanna know if using both salicylic acid as a cleaner and exfoliator is bad.
3- I don’t use retinol but I heard it doesn’t go well with salicylic acid. Does that mean I can’t use a salicylic acid cleanser if I plan to use it in the future?

Yes you could use it. But be sure it isn’t drying out your skin the more

You're supposed to use a moisturizer after cleansing otherwise your skin will produce more oil.
Please do I still need other chemical exfoliants in my routine if I'm using the SA renewing cleanser daily?
Or does it offer enough exfoliation?
SA cleanser is enough, adding other exfoliants will be too much for the skin

Is salicylic acid really effective in a cleanser? Some says SA is effective if it is applied on face for 30 mins.

Hello Mohammed,
I am not a certified dermatologist so take what I say with a pitch of salt but I would recommend the SA cleanser for you because you have more sensitive skin and the SA cleanser has less salicylic acid and therefor is less likely to cause irritation

Yes, I use oil cleansers followed by with the cerave cleansers all the time :)

Hi! I've been watching a lot of dermatologists' channels lately to try to get a handle on my own skin care, and in a day, I realized I had been doing everything wrong besides wearing sunscreen lol. So I'd suggest watching more dermatologist videos like this lovely doctor here and creating a routine from that. I learned to use a SA cleanser in the morning and night, and following it up with a face moisturizer with ceramics and hyaluronic acid, and in the mornings, putting a fragrance-free, non-comedogenic sunscreen on top. Ditching my old products and just using these three consistently for the past two months has made a world of difference. I'd suggest giving the cleanser 2 weeks to see if it works before judging it, and no, I think the evidence is kind of out on dairy at the moment. More studies needed. And hey, maybe look into differin gel if you're still having trouble? But, like I said, this is just my experience, and you should listen to dermatologists' advice, not necessarily mine. 🤷♀️

They are both ok for oily acne prone skin. But if you are dehydrated and sensitive the SA renewing cleanser is better
I'm using Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser and Cerave moisturizer. I stopped using the benzoyl peroxide spot treatment because my acne breakouts aren't leaving me alone, my acne is increasing each day. I was planning to buy differin adapalene gel any suggestions? what can I add to my skincare routine? i also wanna add a serum but i don't know what product. I'm OILY-ACNE PRONE SKIN😕. yes your skin is going through the purge stage where all the dirt and oil and dead skin rise to the surface lace but with proper consistency it should clear up in about 6 weeks

SA = .5%
Blemish one = 2%

use the cerave moisturising lotion works for all skin types and with this product:)
Do you wash off the SA renewing cleanser after applying? How long can one leave it on the face?
It’s a cleanser so it should definitely be rinsed off. Leave on for 2-3 minutes. I apply at the beginning of a bath and rinse off when I’m done.

@@carson4227 I’ve been using both of these cleansers for some months, in my opinion I do feel like my skin not only has less acne but my previous acne scars are somewhat fading away. I’m not rlly sure if it’s necessarily from the cleansers or because of the amount of time it’s been since I had that particular acne. I do think texture has been more evened out tho and overall positive results
