I’d love to see a rundown on this 300wsm build you have! Looks and performs awesome!
Hi, yes iv had a few questions regarding it so there’s a video on the way. Thanks for watching and commenting, it’s much appreciated 👍😁
Classic NZ ah, 4 seasons in one spring !!
Nice shooting, another good video Cheers 😎
Yup sure is. Thanks bud 👍👍
🍻As a former doer then trainer, I love hearing you cycle the action immediately after each shot.
Hi, thanks. Yes it’s the key to get fast and puts you in the best position for the next. I do it automatically now. 😁👍
Mate!! What a crazy experience. Ol hog checking on his mate.
Yep I thought it was. Especially when it almost happens twice. Cheers mate 👍
Your the Blaardy Man my mate. Awesome shooting and action lovve it💪🐗
Cheers, appreciated you taking the time to watch 👍😁
Great shot placement there, no coming back from the .300WSM👍
Cheers , yes it certainly hits with some authority 😁 thanks for watching.
2 sweet shots . Nice for them to stack up like that 🍺
Cheers. Ha yep makes it easier to recover 👍😁
Great shooting as always bud!!
Thanks mate 👍👍
Getting it done bro! Many good animals shot from that vantage point over the years!
Yes there certainly has! There will be a few good memories for people from that spot. 👍😁
Nice hunt! 👍👍👍
Cheers, thanks for watching 👍
Nice we bit of content and good pork, keep up the good work.
Thanks, much appreciated 👍
Another beaut vid fella. Yeah that 2nd piggy would have been a mess.
Yes one side was fine but the other not so much 😬. Still a quick kill as it went right up through the vitals but not my proudest meat harvesting shot. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice shooting bro. Never seen a pig come back to its mate like that. Bonus for you🤣🤣
Yeah I couldn’t believe it, especially when the third almost did the same thing. Cheers 👍😁
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼…………………………….. I just stumbled across your channel today, nice shooting!
That’s cool. Appreciate the support and comments 👍😁
Never seen a pig check on his buddy like that either. Nice shots bro
Cheers mate 👍😁
always handy when you shoot the smart one first LOL
Ha it certainly is. I couldn’t believe the 3rd almost did the same thing, only released when I watched the footage. Thanks for watching 👍😁
Good shooting! Looks like these pigs are not being hunted regularly, otherwise they would know what the bang means. Did I see that correctly, there was even a third one around, thinking of having a closer look and then decided against it?
Yes there was a third that almost did the same thing. They do get quite a bit of hunting pressure here which is why it took me by surprise, as I thought they would have done just that. But as you say these ones obviously hadn’t dealt with people before.
There does seem to be certain situations when shooting with a suppressor at distance that they don’t seem to get into you as fast or sometimes at all.
Thanks for watching 👍
Great shots mate, what was the distance ?
Around 260 from memory. Cheers 👍😁
Good shooting! How do you recover the carcasses in that terrain? Carrying one out would be hard work but two 😮
Hi yes hard work is how it goes. Usually carry but will field dress the carcass, only taking the meat if it’s too heavy 👍
Interesting, I thought you’d get all three! 😊
Ha that’s what I was thinking. Must of run out of luck 😁👍
Excellent shooting yes any pig makes a mess of the land let alone 300 to 400 wild pigs they destroy the vegetation.
Great shooting Love the name of your channel.
Us Aussies are a bit lazy to do all that walking.
Stay safe Cheers
Cheers mate. Yes I bet they would. Ha you get use to it. Thanks for watching mate 👍😁
What part of kiwi is this? Beautiful!
Marlborough, thanks for watching 👍
Bacon pancakes 👌👌👍👍 nice
Cheers, yup for sure 👍👍
We’re did you go nice pig.
Sorry 223 apart, what calibers do you use, a written description would be good, thanks, excuse my bad English
Hi, thanks for taking the time to watch.
I have had many calibres from 223 to 45-70.
My main rifles that I use the most is a 308win firing a 123gr 150gr or 168gr projectiles- depending on the intended use. I also use subsonic rounds too.
300WSM. I use it in a long action and modified mag. I shoot 195gr ELD-M projectiles at 2880 fps.
223 shooting 55-75gr projectiles depending on the situation.
I do also like my 243 and 22mag.
Iv also spent a lot of time with 7mmRemMag
And 300win mag. Both fantastic cartridges.
Thanks 👍😁
@@controlledrecoil-nzhunting Shit friend, that's what you consider reduced recoil, I have to use my 270 with muzzle braker and my 308 too... I can't even stand my 06/30, I stayed with a 7.65 argentine mauser hoping to get speer 125, I can't use the 150 because it kicked me a lot and it's a 29-inch bull barrel..... what is it going to be, I'm a sissy.... good luck and thanks for answering me
Yes any muzzle device ( including the suppressor’s I use) will aid the shooter in controlling recoil and has the potential to improve accuracy. If you are able to use a muzzle device like a brake or a suppressor I would recommend it. Better to use these to your advantage and ensure clean ethical shots. Cheers 😁👍
Shooting that far what is the trick to getting to the animal and not getting turned around on the way. Without a spotter on top guiding me I have a hard time walking straight to the animal
Yes it can be difficult at times. I find the video footage to really help. Taking a video of the animal then zooming out gives you a reference point of land marks, trees etc.
I suggest even a photo on your phone can be useful. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Tom is a machine mate. He'll take you right in to where the animal was shot without fail, even at night!
@@antonriefler9287 Ha hey mate. Good to see you on the comments 👍👍
