This is exciting! I just got myself a 2020 nissan versa sv. i'm a toyota person but i think I dropped the gun too fast and this is what i ended up leaving the lot with, lol i'm grateful though, its the perfect car for me. all glory to god! I like watching these kind of videos. i have videos of my car on my channel as well :)
Thank you for this video!! I am now comfortable tackling new speakers in my 2022 Versa daily commuter. Thank you for keeping the video short, to the point & clear. Excellent how-to video.
My Factory Nissan Versa 2020 S radio unit is broken and what kinds of Units are appropriate replacements cause I can't afford a 2500$ replacement Factory Radio so I am trying a cheaper Aftermarket radios and would like links to appropriate units
I just bought a 2020 Versa S. I really appreciate your input on improving the audio quality over the stock system. What would you suggest to improve the head unit? I'd like to play TH-cam videos ( at least the audio ) from my cell phone into the car speakers. What's the best way to do that ?
I actually like the factory head unit and have just been using Bluetooth for all audio. If you download android auto and connect with a USB you can gain some more functionality and use a lot of apps, including youtube music on the head unit. There is a way to watch TH-cam on you factory head unit, but it requires an old version (2.9) of Android auto and a rooted phone.
The Metalhead Homestead I just plugged my phone into the USB jack. Then Bluetooth connected it. Hit the play button on a TH-cam video. Audio was perfect. Several content creators I listen to have a fine visual value in their videos. All good. But I'm interested in their audio more. And that way I get to listen without wired ear buds. Or wireless ear buds. It comes through the car speakers. Perfect.
what would happen if i install these without the amp? the stock speakers are trash lol but i think the amp set up might be a little to much for me. so what if i just put these speakers in would it even a make a difference?
They would work but the volume would be lower at the same setting. You would still gain the sound quality improvement though. The best option for a factory replacement would be a 6.5 inch 2 ohm speaker, but there just aren't many on the market. Crutchfield and Amazon have some but they're not well known brands.
@@cadennash3769 basically if you just swap out the speakers they will be at a lower volume than stock, the amp will bring it up to normal levels with much higher quality sound
Depending on the amount of water it's normal. Some water always gets by the seal on your door window when its raining, and condensation can build in you door too; especially if it's hot and humid out and you're running the AC. The main thing you want to look for is the small drain holes in the bottom of the door, just make sure they're not blocked.

Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. Saved me 300 installing it myself
You're welcome. That's awesome!

Can you please post the link for the metra adapter speaker ?
amzn.to/3khPAsJ for the Metra adapter. Nice to see the Metra piece going cheaper than the off brand one I used.
Great channel 👍🏽 I’m sorry I did not make myself clear... I meant the wiring harness for the speaker the adapter I cannot seem to find the correct one
@@aestheticmdd932 Thanks, I appreciate that. The Metra 72-7401 are adapters you see at 3:50 in the video. amzn.to/3cR3I9T
The Metalhead Homestead Thank you 🙏🏽

The Metalhead Homestead I'm using a new iPhone so that's not possible for me. At least for now.
@@onlyhereonce7290 I hear Apple carplay is even better than Android auto. I just don't know what exactly it has to offer.

So you saying they would be quieter than the stock or just the new speakers with the amp at the same settings?

Where did you get the harness and speaker spacer from i can seem to find them anywhere
The links are in the description, I just added the link for the spacer. Hope it helps you out.
I noticed water on one of the factory speakers when I took it out. Is that normal or should I rectify that.
